So, making this while I still realize it.
I can go two ways with this and I'm unsure where to go.
First would be the slower, more slice of life like stories. Ie. "new student" like writing that focuses on the micro day to day things. A day would be a few(or one) chapters and subtle changes would be shown more time.
Second would be faster, skip like and big event based. Ie. "I prefer sleep" like writing, more fitted for adventure then fluff. Days could and likely would go by quickly and more flash would be put on the active characters rather then the world.
I know I'm overthinking this, but I often lose intrest when I have no plan. I am happy people enjoy my story so far and I want to be as amiable to those who read, and want to read, this story. I will say I'm biased to SOL, since it fits my writing style (or I think it does) But I am open to suggestions.
Unrelated thought: I wish I had cash to pay someone to read my thing before I published so it feels right. The recent chapter, though the story elements would have had to appear, didn't feel right to the story, at least to me.
Also, if you guys are wondering, "why so many polls?" easy answer; I'm new at writing a full story and so I use polls to help gauge things, and to interact with my readers while getting feedback. Hope you understand

If you want, you can always ask for an editor. Heck, even I'm willing to be one, though I'll probably hand the chapters to my own editor.
I would love to have a editor, especially if it was someone (Such as yourself) who enjoys the story.
you've been booped by, you've been pat by, a ninja! *runs away*
@Esper Smooth criminal? Nice
I say that at one point (preferably early but can be after an "intro" into the story) establish a daily routine for the character the narration is following. There is no need to narrate each day in detail but do it a once in what you think is important and from then on mention it especially if it changes.
I agree with IanWhite (other comment on this) on most things. A slice of life narration doesn't need an extensive chapter each day. The reader after a while should be able to fill in the "gaps" you don't write about because you previously elaborated on it.
As for how I'd do it is make myself a roadmap of "storyarks" or "events" and slowly write how it feels natural while taking breaks from the main narration when a good idea comes to mind or a side narration from anothers perspective (perhaps about changes in mc or others). I'd do this by including the max ammount of fluff possible (fluff inthis case meaning heartwarming moments, nice feelings and general cuteness). If the reader resembles a blissfull molten puddle at the end of the chapter then it was a good fluff chapter.
If you need inspiration for the heartwarming/cute stuff i can only recommend these novels on the site: "Boosted Restart", "Faraway Survivor" and "Heaven, Earth, Me" . The first is a very fleshed out fluffy romance story(after a intro till the romance interest is met), the second one capitalizes mainly on the cuteness and innocence of the MC and the last one is a more mature, family building (the harem direction) and lover pamperimg (sexually too) novel.
Perhaps Honorable mention here: "Natasha the Halve" for personality and lover writing as well as "Isekai’d Shoggoth" for cheat and tentacle assisted pampering of loved ones.
Another personal note is that you'd capitalize on the Genderbender aspect (the cyoa has some choices that go into that if you lack initial ideas) since i think its often dismissed too fast as a "was only important in the intro thing" or be relevant only in backstory but never broughtup.
As a final note I'll say that it is your novel and thus your choice how to write it. I also have a "build" for the Yuri Curse CYOA and i don't expect anyone to cater to my choices or other possible requests but I am curious where your choices will take it in a novel format. Follow your heart and may the fluff be with you.
Thanks for the advice! I will be sure to use it as I write more. I hope in the future this feedback will ensure the quality, quantity, and gooeyness of the puddles.

So I would suggest using weekly highlights as the chapters. Everyone knows school is boring so only certain things would be worth remembering. Set a number of chapters for each week (in story), then add a few more chapters for "side" or "special" events.
So a study date would add a few chapters, or going to hangout, things like that would be worth knowing. You could also do occasional side chapters of other peoples pov (like classmates or family members) to give us an outside view of what is happening to the characters.
This could also give us info on these characters (the pov of). If parents have gap type personalities or the general personality of recurring characters, things like that.
I know this was a long response and you may have similar thoughts or could be laughing at me but I see a lot of writers with good premises and basics that tend to flop because they aren't getting the response or creative flow they hoped for.
If you're doing slice of life (like the current poll is suggesting) then write what puts a smile on your face or makes you think "that's cute". You aren't going to get deep feelings through your writing, even the best of authors rarely do so. But isn't the whole point of slice of life supposed to give the reader small but consistent drops of joy?
