Gohan’s Satan City House

“Woo! Cannon Ball!” Goten and Trunks shouted as they jumped into the pool, creating a large wave that splashed Ginnie who happened to be walking near the pool with a plate full of food.

“Trunks! Goten!” Ginnie shouted as she stared at her soaking plate, water dripping down her hair. “You’re going to pay for that!” she shouted tossing the plate to the side as she slowly and angrily made her way towards the two.

“Run!!” Trunks shouted as he and Goten quickly flew out of the pool, with Ginnie taking off after them.

“Woah!” Vanadis exclaimed as they rushed past, her walking into the room with more refreshments and food.

“Sorry!” Ginnie shouted back as she chased Trunks and Goten.

“Guys! Be careful!” Gohan shouted after the three kids, “You, ok?” he asked Vanadis helping her.

“Yeah, I’m good.” Vanadis replied smiling at him, “Thank you.”

“Of course.” Gohan replied, taking the platter of patties to Chi-Chi, Good Launch and Martha who were handling the cooking.

Gohan had decided to have a barbecue/pool party since it was a beautiful day he invited Chi-Chi, Goten, Raditz, Launch, Ginnie, and Ox-King who were all eager to come. Krillin, Android 18, came with their 3-year-old daughter Marron, Turtle and Master Roshi, who promised to try and behave. Piccolo and Dende came too, which was surprisingly pleasant. Vanadis invited Martha who decided to come, leaving her motel in the hands of her new day manager.

But the real surprise was when Bulma and Trunks arrived with Vegeta walking in with them, especially since Vegeta wasn’t dressed for the occasion, he was in his usual training clothes. Gohan learned the reason why, when Vegeta demanded to use his new training room after hearing Vanadis talk to Bulma about it yesterday. Gohan told Vegeta that if he wanted to use it, that he would have to wait until tomorrow to use it because today was all about relaxing and enjoying time with friends and family.

Gohan also told Vegeta that the only way to access the basement was with his, Vanadis, or Bulma’s permission, that if anyone else tried to access it without their permission it would lock the room and sound an alarm. Gohan promised Vegeta could use it tomorrow and told him that Vanadis added a new gravity feature that could be used while fighting different opponents, allowing you to make the gravity to change randomly during battle to really push yourself. Vegeta grumbled a bit but accepted to wait in the end, especially after Bulma placed a large plate of food in his hands.

“This was a great idea son.” Chi-Chi replied as Gohan placed the patties on the table near them.

“Yeah, it’s nice to see everyone enjoying themselves like this.” Good Launch said smiling as Ginnie caught Goten and Trunks and dragged them back to the pool.

“It was nothing, just an idea me and the girls had.” Gohan said smiling at the scene.

“Well, I wanted to thank you, for inviting me.” Martha said chuckling at the sight of Ginnie tossing the boys into the pool and dusting her hands.

“Of course.” Gohan said smiling at her, “You’re important to Vanadis, which means you’re important to me, so of course I would invite you. I’m just glad you could take the day off.” 

Martha smiled back at him, “It helps that I have people I can trust to look after the motel for a few hours. Here you go.” She added handing him a tray of burgers.

“Thank you.” Gohan said taking it and carrying it to the table where all the food was.

“How’s businesses going?” Gohan heard his mom ask as he waked away.

“Hey, Gohan thanks for inviting us.” Bulma said waving at him as he brought the burgers over.

“No, problem Bulma, I’m glad you could come.” Gohan replied.

“Yeah, well, I needed the day off.” Bulma said, drinking her TFS Soda. “I’ve been busy working on a few projects and needed the break.”

“Happy to help.” Gohan said smiling, before remembering something, “Hey, do you remember how I wanted to hold our own tournament?”

“Yeah, I do what about it?” Bulma asked.

“Well, I thought that with Cooler and his men coming back to Earth in a few months we could hold a tournament when they arrive to test how much stronger they’ve become. You know make a game of it.” Gohan answered looking at her.

“Hmm…that’s not a bad idea.” Bulma said nodding her head, “I’ve already purchased the land where the Cell Games were held so we don’t need to find a place to hold the tournament…Yeah, sure let’s do it.”

“Really!?” Gohan responded smiling.

“Yeah.” Bulma said smiling back, “We still need to plan a few more things, like the rules, brackets, prize and a more importantly a way to protect everyone from stray blasts, but I don’t see why we can’t hold a tournament.”

“Awesome!” Gohan said smiling, “Thank you!” he said hugging her.

“No, problem!” Bulma said laughing too, “I can’t say no to my favorite Godson.”

“What’s going on over here?” Zangya asked, walking up to them, dressed in a more modest blue bikini because of all the guests they had over.

“Hey, Z.” Gohan said smiling at her, “Nothing much, I’m just thanking Bulma because she said we can have a tournament for when Cooler and his men arrive in a few months.” 

“Oh! Really!?” Zangya said, raising an eyebrow.

“Yeah, I thought it would be fun.” Gohan said smiling.

“Yeah, it sounds like a good idea but how do we decide who fights Cooler, he has expressed direct interest in fighting you.” Zangya said looking at Gohan.

“Oh, right.” Gohan said frowning a little, before shaking his head, “Do you think Cooler would be more interested in seeing how much stronger he and his men have become. With the possibility of fighting us again. We could even make it a yearly thing where we fight each other testing each other and pushing ourselves to get better.”

“…It has merit, I know that with Cooler running the empire now, he needs his men to be in top from so he could be interested in it.” Zangya said nodding, “I’ll let him know later today so he can prepare and so he can decide.”

“Thanks, Z.” Gohan replied smiling.

“No, problem.” Zangya said smiling back, as she walked away with some food on her plate.

“Is there enough people to fight, this time around?” Bulma asked.

“Yeah, I think so.” Gohan answered nodding, “Cooler and his men are 4 fighters in total. I’m fighting, and I know that Piccolo, and Raditz will want to fight too and knowing Vegeta he will want to fight too so that’s 8 fighters in total. I also think that Tien will want to fight too once he hears that Cooler is coming back, and Zangya will want to fight too so that’s 10.” He counted off.

“Ok, then we have our fighters.” Bulma said chuckling, “Now the rules will probably be the same as the normal world martial arts tournament, No killing and no weapons. We won’t have any ring outs because you guys will just destroy the ring.” She added smiling. “Ok, and the winner is determined by a 10 count, if someone says, ‘I Quit’ or is knocked unconscious.”

“Yeah, sounds good.” Gohan said nodding his head.

“Big Brother come play!” Goten shouted.

“Yeah, come on Gohan!” Trunks shouted.

Gohan looked back to reply, “Give me a second, I’m talking with Bulma.”

“Go, join them. I’ll come up with a suitable prize for the winner.” Bulma said, waving Gohan off.

“Thanks Bulma.” Gohan said, smiling at her as he got up.

“No, problem.” Bulma said, shaking her head and smiling as Gohan ran towards the pool and jumped in splashing Goten, Trunks and Ginnie who after getting over their shock teamed up and started splashing him in retaliation.

The group continued to enjoy the day under the sun, eating, swimming, and playing until it was time for everyone to go home. Vegeta and the other fighters hearing that Cooler would be coming back to Earth with his men in a few months were determined to continue training to get stronger especially with Bulma making a tournament out of it.

A Few Days Later

Gohan was training outside by the mountains near his home in Mt. Paozu with Zangya, Raditz, Ginnie, and Piccolo, they had decided to have a joint training session today in preparation for Cooler’s arrival. They have been sparring for the past few hours, right now it was Gohan and Piccolo vs Zangya, Ginnie and Raditz. Gohan and Piccolo fought flawlessly together something they’ve been able to do since Gohan was a kid.

Gohan blocked an overhand swing by Zangya and blocked a roundhouse kick from Ginnie while Piccolo knocked Raditz’s Saturday Crush back towards him and then attacked Zangya and Ginnie making them jump back. Gohan and Piccolo jumped back raised both hands up and shouted, “Masenko Ha!” their two attacks merging and flying towards the group of three who had to jump away to avoid the now massive blast.

Gohan and Piccolo pressed their advantage, Gohan charged towards Raditz while Piccolo charged towards Zangya and Ginnie. Gohan fired a Saturday Crush at Raditz who knocked it away just in time for Gohan to punch him in the abdomen, but Raditz blocked it and used the momentum of the punch to fly into the air where he fired a Double Sunday at Gohan who was planning to knock it back.

But Gohan had to use the After-Image Technique after Piccolo mentally shouted a warning. Gohan dodged the attack in time he glanced around quickly and saw that Zangya had transformed into her Super Hera form to hold Piccolo back allowing Ginnie to flank Gohan and fire her own Double Sunday at his back.

“That wasn’t very nice Ginnie.” Gohan replied with a small laugh since he was having fun.

“Darn It!” Ginnie said flying up next to Raditz, “How did you dodge?”

“That’s a secret.” Gohan said grinning as glanced to see Piccolo had moved his fight with Zangya further away. “Well, I guess since Z, transformed that means we can too.” He said looking up.

They were interrupted by a loud ringing by the timer they set to signal that it was time to switch teams, Zangya powered down and they all flew towards the tree stump where the timer was sitting on. Next to the timer was a small box inside of which were several slips of paper that had the names of the teams they would make to fight. Every time the timer went off someone would reach into the box and draw a slip of paper that would signal who would fight who. Gohan reached into the box and pulled a slip of paper and let out a small groan when he saw what was written on it, ‘Gohan vs Everyone.’

“Alright who wrote this one?” Gohan asked holding it up so everyone else could see it.

“Wasn’t me babe.” Zangya said, her orange hair shaking in tune with her head.

“Not me.” Ginnie said, holding her hands up.

“It was me.” Piccolo said, with no shame, “I thought it was a good way to get you get back into the grove of things after your little break.”

“…Ok, makes sense.” Gohan said chuckling, as he put the slip of paper away and set the timer, “Alright then.” He said flying away from the timer towards a clearing with the others following him.

“Sorry babe, but I’m not holding back.” Zangya said transforming into her Super Hera form.

“I’m not holding back either Gohan.” Raditz said jumping straight into Super Saiyan 2.

“Give us everything you got Gohan.” Piccolo said, cracking his knuckles and neck, followed up by him powering up.

“Don’t hold back for my sake, big brother.” Ginnie said, smiling as she transformed into a Super Saiyan. Something that still surprised Gohan after he found out she managed to unlock it suddenly while training with Raditz.

“Oh! I see how it is…” Gohan said, eyebrow raised as they slowly made to encircle him, “…If that’s how it’s going to be then I shouldn’t hold back either.” He said grinning as he jumped straight into Super Saiyan 2, with little effort. The ground beneath him cracked and splintered as a gust of wind burst away from him sending dust into the air momentarily blinding the others, “GO!”

Before anyone else could move Gohan threw his arms out to his sides and shouted creating a small shockwave that sent dust, pebbles and sand flying outwards making the others cover their faces, as the gust pushed them back slightly. Gohan raised his hand, charged up a small ki blast and tossed it at the ground, kicking up a larger cloud of dust blocking everyone’s line of sight and destroying the ground to knock everyone else off balance. Gohan flew into the air. “Burning Attack!” he shouted firing the attack at where he knew everyone was standing.

Gohan’s attack didn’t hit anyone, but he wasn’t expecting to hit anyone. Gohan just wanted to separate the group, which is what happened as they all jumped away in different directions to avoid his attack. Gohan charged at Piccolo who jumped into the air to avoid the attack. Gohan attacked Piccolo with a spinning overhead axe kick that Piccolo managed to block by throwing his arm up but the force behind the kick sent him flying back down to the ground. Gohan made to press on but had to quickly spun around and block a roundhouse kick from Zangya.

“Hey, good looking.” Zangya said with a grin.

“Hey.” Gohan replied grinning as he ducked under Zangya’s right hook, he grabbed Zangya’s arm and hip tossed her over his shoulder tossing her towards Ginnie who was charging up a Kamehameha. Seeing Zangya flying towards her Ginnie had to stop her attack.

Gohan followed up by quickly rising his hands up to fire an attack at Raditz who was flying towards him. Raditz crossed his arms and flew through the attack, surprising Gohan who had briefly turned away to fire an attack at Zangya and Ginnie. Gohan caught Raditz’s punch but before he could counter, he felt someone grab his ankle, making him look down to see Piccolo smirking his elongated arm holding on to his ankle.

Gohan quickly tried to kick Raditz with his other foot, but Raditz jumped back, Gohan yanked his foot up pulling Piccolo up making Piccolo let go as his arm snapped back to normal. Piccolo, using the surprise momentum, fired several Ki blasts at Gohan. Gohan knocked them towards Raditz who was trying to press his attack using the distraction caused by Piccolo. Before Gohan could press his advantage, he heard two voices shout, “Kamehameha!”

Gohan glanced around to see Ginnie and Zangya firing their attacks at him from different angles, this was quickly followed up by two separate voices, one shouted, “Masenko Ha!” Piccolo, the other shouted, “Double Sunday!” it was Piccolo and Raditz who also fired their attacks from different angles as well.

Gohan smiled as he saw the four attacks flying towards him leaving him with little room to dodge, he did see an opening, but he had a feeling that they had left it open for him on purpose, so he did something he thought they wouldn’t expect. Gohan lifted both hand and fired his own attack to counter act the others attack, “Nova Flash!” he shouted as his attack grew large enough to temporarily block the four-attacks fired by the others and for him to fly down to attack the person closest to him Piccolo.

But Piccolo was waiting for him, he held two fingers to his forehead, Gohan thought Piccolo was going to use the Special Beam Cannon, so he jumped back but he heard Zangya shout, “Beauty Shot!” from behind him.

Followed by Raditz shouting, “Saturday Crush!”

Gohan decided to knock away Zangya and Raditz’s attack and let Piccolo’s attack hit him since he was confident, he could take it without serious damage, yeah it would hurt but Piccolo wouldn’t try to seriously kill him. With his decision made Gohan effortlessly knocked away the two attacks by Zangya and Raditz, but Piccolo did not shout Special Beam Cannon he shouted something Gohan wasn’t expecting, “Clothes Beam!”

When the attack hit Gohan’s balance was suddenly thrown off as one of his wrist bands became heavy enough to make Gohan stagger, to the point where he had to roll to the side to dodge another attack. He stood up and tried to fly up, but he suddenly found himself stuck, narrowing his eyes he saw Zangya’s, Psycho Threads were wrapped around him.

Confused, Gohan looked up to see that it was Ginnie who fired the Beauty Shot with Zangya shouting the name. While Raditz had attack from behind letting Zangya set up her Psycho Threads. The others quickly pressed their advantage as they all charged up their attacks, aiming at him from different angles again leaving him with little time or room to dodge. Gohan didn’t have enough time to appreciate the plan because the four of them pressed their attack in the few seconds Gohan was stuck.

“Light Grenade!” Piccolo shouted.

“Saturday Crush!” Raditz shouted.

“Beauty Shot!” Zangya shouted for real this time.

“Rail Gun!” Ginnie shouted, holding one palm open, with her other hand holding her wrist, as blue energy ball with lightning appeared in her open palm.

“Crapbaskets!” Gohan muttered right before the four attacks were fired at him.

“Did that work?” Ginnie asked.

“No.” Piccolo answered as the smoke slowly cleared.

Gohan emerged from the smoke, the shirt of his gi was torn completely and he was missing one of his pant legs, he was scuffed and bleeding a little. Gohan smiled as he took off the weighted wristband. “That was a good plan.” He said, his eyes widened when the wrist band dropped and cratered the ground where it landed, “Wow, you made that pretty heavy Piccolo.”

“Tch… not heavy enough it seems.” Piccolo replied.

“Yeah, but it was enough to throw me off balance and let you move me to where you wanted.” Gohan replied with a smile.

Raditz chuckled, “Yeah, we knew that we couldn’t beat you in a straight up fight even if we have the numbers advantage. I can hold my own against you well enough, but you’ve mastered Super Saiyan 2 better than I have so we knew we had to come up with a different way to beat you. Ginnie was the one who thought about trapping you.”

“That was a great plan.” Gohan said smiling at Ginnie, “And a great attack. I’m glad you mastered it, did my advice help?”

“Yeah. Thanks Gohan.” Ginnie blushed, smiling at the compliment as she scratched the back of her head.

“Well, I guess it’s time for me to get serious. I hope you’re ready.” Gohan replied with a grin that made the others a little nervous, “I should warn you though. I’ve been working on this for a while with dad’s help whenever I visited him in Other World. So, I haven’t really perfected it just yet…” he grunted a little as he crossed his arms in front of his face and started powering up more.

Gohan shouted making ground beneath him crater little by little until Gohan was floating in the air, the surrounding area started to shake, as pieces of the broken ground beneath Gohan started floating up, his aura grew larger, as blue lightning snaked around him. The others felt nervous suddenly, sensing Gohan’s power still growing, but before Gohan could continue, the timer went off. Gohan hearing the timer sighed because he was just starting to have fun. “Darn…looks like you guys win this time.” He powered down to his base and wiped sweat off his forehead.

“Y-Yeah, I guess that’s a wrap.” Raditz said, powering down too, they all decided to ignore whatever that was at least for now.

“…We should do this again sometime.” Zangya said following suit.

“Y-Yeah, this was fun!” Ginnie replied reverting to base as well.

“…It was good training.” Piccolo said, nodding his head. “But I don’t like the way we won, feels cheap.”

“I don’t either but, we can try this again later and win it a different way.” Raditz said agreeing with Piccolo. “But later… we should all get some rest.” He added a little nervous about whatever Gohan was about to reveal but also wanting to test himself against it.

“I’m ok with that I wouldn’t mind doing this again.” Gohan said grinning, “I had fun.”

“Great we should plan to do this again sometime soon, maybe invite some others.” Raditz suggested.

“Yeah, sounds good.” Gohan said smiling, “I’ll reach out to see who else wants to do this, see if we can set something up.”

“Alright let us know.” Raditz said, chuckling, “We have to get going.” He said nodding at Gohan, Piccolo and Zangya.

“Alright see you around.” Gohan said, waving at Raditz and hugging Ginnie and playfully ruffling her hair who pouted before she flew after her dad. “What about you Piccolo? What are you going to do?”

“I need to talk with Dende.” Piccolo said glancing towards where the lookout was.

“…Is something wrong?” Gohan asked, noticing the look on Piccolo’s face.

“…I don’t know yet, but I’ll keep you updated, alright.” Piccolo replied.

“…ok, let me know if there’s anything I can do to help.” Gohan answered.

“You got it, I’ll see you around kid.” Piccolo said nodding at him before leaving as well.

“Do you think something’s wrong?” Zangya asked, walking up to stand next to him.

“…I don’t know but Piccolo will let us know if we need to worry about anything.” Gohan replied.

“Yeah.” Zangya nodded before smiling at him, “…V is at Capsule Corp for the rest of the day, which means we have the house all to ourselves. What do you say we go home and have a spar...just the two of us.” she finished suggestively.

Gohan smiled at her suggestion and said, “Race you home?”

Zangya smiled and nodded before she took off flying with a chuckle with Gohan flying after her laughing.

A Few Days Later

“Gohan, it seems like your power has been equally distributed between you and your clone.” Vanadis said from where she was standing. Gohan was outside near his lab running a few experiments with Vanadis who had a few scientific equipment set up, they were testing the limits of Gohan’s cloning techniques, he had made just one clone for the tests.

“Great, what else can you tell me?” Gohan asked, looking at his clone who just stood there looking at him.

“It seems like you have a shared consciousness between your real body and your clone.” Vanadis replied, looking up from her tablet.

“...I think I see what you mean.” Gohan replied, noticing the difference of using just one clone he felt the difference as he raised his hand and the clone did the same a fraction of a second later, “Seems like there’s a minor delay when sending commands.”

“Yes, that seems to be correct…” Vanadis confirmed from where she was standing, “You probably never noticed it because you were focused on fighting.”

“…you may have a point.” Gohan answered, throwing a light punch as the clone copied him.

“Let’s see how you two handle the obstacle course.” Vanadis said, walking to him and adjusting the equipment on him and the clone.

“Ok.” Gohan said, glancing at the obstacle course Vanadis had set up. It consisted of jumping over obstacles, climbing over things, balancing, swimming, strength, ki blast test, and a puzzle.

Gohan looked at the Clone and nodded it nodded back at him, Vanadis blew a whistle, and they took off starting the obstacle course. Gohan ran towards a large wall, grabbed the rope and climbed over it and then started running across a thin beam. Near the middle of the beam, he had to jump to grab onto a rope to swing across a large gap in the middle of the beam. Gohan glanced back as he landed and saw his clone was a few seconds behind him. Gohan continued running, then jumped into the lake end of the balance portion.

Gohan started swimming to the middle of the lake where a small island was at, Gohan touched it and then swam back, his clone a few seconds behind him but closing in, making Gohan swim faster. Gohan jumped out of the lake, ran over to a large box that he had to push to climb up onto a large platform, where he had to use ki blasts to solve a numbered puzzle at the end. Gohan’s clone kept in pace with him throughout the entire obstacle course only a few seconds behind him up until the puzzle portion, where it started lagging behind Gohan solving it seconds after he did.

Once they were done Vanadis came up to him as he and his clone merged back together. Vanadis gave him a towel to dry himself as she shared her results, that his clone can do simple tasks, but it relies on their shared consciousness to solve more complex situations. Gohan nodded his head seeing the results, “So that means that this technique is meant more for training than anything else.” Gohan replied looking at the brain wave readings.

“Yes, that’s what it looks like.” Vanadis replied nodding her head, “You could use it to help you with your crime fighting but if it runs into a situation where it needs to think, it probably won’t do too well.”

“Hmm, that’s a shame.” Gohan said, drying his hair, “…they also can’t go too far from the main body.”

“Yes, the test from yesterday showed that it can only be about one to three miles away from the main body depending on the surroundings.” Vanadis said pulling up the data. 

“That’s a shame.” Gohan said, looking at the data, “I was hoping to use the cloning technique to have one body at school and the other one stopping crime but based on this data that won’t work too well.”

“What were you hoping the clone would transfer memoires to you?” Vanadis asked.

“…I wish, they could do that, can you imagine the work you would get done if that was possible, especially if you used it properly.” Gohan exclaimed with a smile.

“That would be useful, but It seems like that won’t work, I’m sorry.” Vanadis replied with a smile looking up at him.

“It’s fine, nothing you can do about it.” Gohan said sitting down on a nearby chair.

“…but if you want, I could probably make a robot dressed like you to solve the crimes so you can focus on school.” Vanadis said, as she took off the sensors she placed on Gohan to study the data.

“…we may have to do that, if I want to keep my two lives separated.” Gohan replied nodding, “…let me know when you’re starting so I can help you out.”

“Of course.” Vanadis said, smiling at him.

“Let’s clean this up and we can go out to eat.” Gohan said standing up.

“Ok, sounds good.” Vanadis said, smiling at him as they started putting the obstacle course materials back into their capsules.

(A Few Days Later)

Gohan was at Satan City Mall with Zangya and Vanadis, they had just finished watching a movie they did some window shopping and were now looking for a table in the food court when someone called out to them. Gohan looked around to see Erasa waving at them from a table with some empty seats next to her, Zangya quickly made her way towards Erasa with a smile on her face. “Hey, Erasa.” Gohan greeted her as he placed his tray of food down then helped Zangya and Vanadis into their seats.

“Hey, Gohan, Zangya and… Vanadis.” Erasa greeted back, smiling as Vanadis nodded when Erasa correctly pronounced her name, “What are you guys doing here?”

“Gohan took us to watch a movie.” Zangya replied smiling.

“That’s nice, did you guys watch Lady of The Stars?” Erasa asked, with a big smile.

“W-what!?... Kami, No!” Zangya uttered looking horrified at the thought shaking her head, “We don’t like none of that lovey dovey sappy stuff.” Vanadis nodded her head in agreement.

“Oh...I wanted to ask how it was.” Erasa uttered looking a little disappointed.

“Oh!” Zangya said seeing Erasa’s face, “We’re not shaming anyone who likes that type of movies, it’s just not out type of movie.” She added looking at Erasa.

“It’s fine, I know that not everyone likes those types of movies, I just assumed, since you guys are on a date.” Erasa said, smiling at them.

“Yeah, sorry but we don’t like that type of movie.” Zangya explained.

“It’s fine.” Erasa replied, “So what movie did you guys’ watch?”

“We watched Storm of Fire.” Zangya answered, taking a bite of her food, “A bit of action for me and a bit of Science Fiction for the nerds.” She added gesturing towards Gohan and Vanadis.

“Oh, how was it?” Erasa asked.

“It was very good, I liked it.” Zangya answered.

“Yeah, the science was pretty well thought out.” Vanadis replied, slowly nodding her head.

“That’s good at least you guys enjoyed it.” Erasa replied, “So Gohan are you ready for classes to start?” she asked turning to look at him.

“Yeah, I am, I’ve been homeschooled for most of my life so it will be good to spend time with others my age.” Gohan answered.

“You’ve been homeschooled?” Erasa asked surprised.

“Yeah, I grew up in the East Mountain District so there were no schools nearby. Now that I’m eighteen my mom wanted me to get a proper education at a high school and Satan City was one of the better options. So, I got a place nearby and moved here.” Gohan explained.

“Wow, that’s a big change. Going from a small place to the big city.” Erasa replied.

“Yeah, but my godmother lives in West City so I’m not completely new to big cities.” Gohan answered with a shrug. “We’ve also been living in Satan City for a while, so we’ve gotten used to it a little.”

“Well, that’s good, but I bet you guys haven’t found all the hidden hot spots.” Erasa said looking at them.

“No, we haven’t.” Gohan replied.

“Great, how about I show you three around, after we finish eating.” Erasa said, smiling at them.

“Sounds good.” Zangya replied, nodding her head.

“Yeah, sure.” Gohan nodded too.

“I can’t, I need to get back to the lab I have…” Vanadis started saying, only to stop as Zangya shook her head at her.

“No! We made a promise V. Today is all about the three of us, no lab work, no training and nothing else just us three spending time together.” Zangya said looking at Vanadis.

“…fine, I guess the experiment can wait one more day.” Vanadis sighed, when Gohan nodded his head agreeing with Zangya.

“Great, let’s go!” Erasa said excitedly as they finished eating.

Gohan followed Erasa as she showed him, Zangya, and Vanadis around the less known areas of Satan City areas that were only known by the locals who lived in the city back when it was called Orange City. Before the herds of people decided to move to the city after Hercule defeated Cell, they all wanted to live in the same city as him, since he was the strongest man in the world. Erasa clearly had a deep love for the city, Erasa told Gohan that she lived in the city since she was a kid hanging with Videl before Hercule became famous. Erasa told Gohan about the history of the city and how it was built around an orange ball with one star on it, that was rumored to grant any wish.

Gohan was slightly surprised when he heard that but then he remembered that the dragon balls had been around for a long time, long before he was born and before his father landed on earth and was found by Grandpa Gohan. So, it makes sense for other people to know about them, which becomes clear when Erasa takes them to a part of the city he hasn’t visited before, a plaza that has a few shops around. In the middle of the plaza, is a water fountain with a statue of a dragon that looked a lot like Shenron and in the statue’s claw was a stone copy of the one-star dragon ball.

“That’s fascinating.” Vanadis said, getting a closer look at the statue.

“Is this the inspiration of our school badge?” Gohan asked.

“Yeah, it is!” Erasa answered, smiling at him, “The school wanted to pay homage to the city’s old name, that’s why it’s called Orange Star High.”

“That’s pretty cool.” Gohan replied, looking at her.

“Yeah, it is.” Erasa answered with a smile, “…Come on we have other places to visit!” she replied smiling at them as she continued to lead the way. 

They spent the next few hours exploring the city with Erasa happily showing them around, until evening and Gohan drove Erasa home in his hovercar. “Thanks for the ride. I enjoyed spending time with you guys.” Erasa said as they dropped her off.

“We did too.” Zangya said smiling at her, “We should do it again sometime.”

“That sounds like a good idea.” Erasa said smiling.

“Yeah, I don’t mind hanging out again.” Gohan replied nodding.

“Good, how about we hang out at our place.” Zangya said looking at Erasa. “How does that sound Gohan?”

“Sounds good.” Gohan replied with a shrug.

“Great, I’ll text you later so we can set up a day.” Zangya said smiling at Erasa.

“Ok, see you guys later.” Erasa said, waving at them before going into her home.

“That was fun.” Gohan replied as he drove to their home.

“Yeah, it was, I wouldn’t mind doing something like that again.” Vanadis said from beside him.

“Yeah, which is why I suggested it.” Zangya said, from the back seat where she sat with Erasa.

“As long as it’s before Cooler gets here and before I start school, I don’t mind.” Gohan said, glancing at Zangya who nodded at him.

“You got it Gohan. I’ll plan everything.” Zangya replied nodding at him with a grin.

(AN: Sorry for the wait. But here we go another chapter done. There will be one more chapter of Gohan enjoying life before I start the Buu Saga. During the Buu Saga I will mention a few things about Gohan in school, but it won’t play a big role in the upcoming saga. As you can tell from this chapter, I’m going to do the Capsule Corp Tournament with Cooler and his armored squadron versus the Z Fighters. I will warn you guys that planning the tournament will take some time because I want to do it justice. So, to make up for the wait there will be one more chapter of this fic and then two chapters of Gohan’s Multiversal Travels being posted the following week after the next chapter of this fic is posted.
