Day 76,

We appear to be descending again.  The air’s returned to cool rather than cold and isn’t so thin anymore.

We spent the day taking turns going back and forth between continuing to clean out the first floor of the mansion and watching the sea and islands below us.  As for the former, our goal is to get the place livable enough to spend at least a couple of nights there before we get back to the Village.  Regarding the latter, I’ve been keeping record of our observations in the other notebook.  It could be interesting to cross reference that with Priscila’s notes later.

Also, Lin seems to be a bit more at ease around Maiko today, so that’s nice.  Humming, going off on tangents, and joking around with her the same way she does with me and Cass instead of that detached mask of professionalism.  She’d been gradually getting there the past few days, but it seems more noticeable now.
