I've spent the last few months struggling to come up with more content for this novel, and failed spectacularly at every turn. Every idea I've come up with has ether conflicted with my overall vision or would create glaring plot-holes for the future. I'm afraid I've written myself into a corner due to my lack of foresight and bad writing.
I am thus abandoning this version of the book and am going to attempt a rewrite at a later date. This is a story I still want to tell, but it will have to be after some serious planning. At a later date expect a new version of The Misadventures of Allure Blackhorn to appear on this site, I pray and hope that it will be better, not only for you my dear readers, but also for myself. I've grown a little from this attempt at storytelling. It has shown me where my strengths are, and possibly more importantly where I'm weak.
I will leave this novel up on Scribblehub until such time as I am ready to try again. Maybe someone will like it, though probably not. I'll be the first person to admit that this has been a train wreck of a novel. This is goodbye for now, but I will be back.
