Namike

Hello fellow readers. I am back in business (Not literally).

I wrote this entire chapter quickly so you might find some problems. I seem to not be able to keep stock of chapters due to my need of results to improve my writing so my schedule is still a chapter per week.

Namike and Goku woke up before the sun had risen. They decided to get revenge on Grandpa Gohan by sneaking out of the house without telling him. Namike asked his system a question he had on his mind a while ago.

'System, When will I be able to talk to Goku normally?'

[The Host will be able to speak naturally once you reach 2 years of age however the system can allow you to speak for the small fee of 5 dragon points]

"Hmmmm, money-grabber system, but fine. Take my hard-earned dragon points and make it so there are no future problems."

[Host has now learned a lower universal language. Thank you for your patronage]

Namike was stocking up multiple fishes to exchange for dragon points which all added up to 20 dragon points in total. This is also due to Namike's skills allowing him to make the fishes be presented in a nice way to whoever is buying them.

A truckload of knowledge drove right into Namike's head and he felt reborn. Language knowledge seems to come along with species identifications to identify which language to use for what animal. Namike tried yawning like usual and thought of trying an English voice but instead, it seemed more like a dragon yawning. His mind would have the knowledge but his body seemed to be more used to speaking in his normal dragon.

Goku noticed Namike making some noise and signalled to him to be quiet and start the plan. Namike stared blankly at Goku before remembering the plan. He decided to levitate and let Goku on top of him as this was the only way to sneak away quickly without waking up Grandpa Gohan. Goku was excited to explore the world as well as Namike. Namike was too weak mentally to survive in the wide dragon world. With Goku, Namike will have an extra person's eyes plus it won't feel as lonely. Namike decided to try flying high in the sky as he thinks the pterodactyls will be asleep at this time from his previous encounter with them in the daylight and no attacks when he went out at night.

As Namike looked below him, he reminisces about the time he felt too scared to fly high but decided to discard his thoughts as Goku was sitting on top of him. His eyes blurred before he saw his surrounding as clear as day and his original black eyes with a blue iris becomes slightly red. He looked at the surroundings and only saw some forest areas and a desert. He flew higher and finally some light from a hill in the desert and decided to fly over with Goku on top of him.

"Slow downnn!!!!!!!!" Goku yelled as he clung tightly to Namike's back to not fall off as he was only able to see some pitch darkness. Namike giggled provocatively as he was upset about losing to Goku the day before. Due to the speedy flight, they arrived in front of this hill within 2 minutes despite the distance. Namike stooped abruptly causing Goku to fall off and roll in the sand. Namike lowered himself to the sand and walked around the hill to enjoy the feeling of sand on his feet. Meanwhile, Goku was busy trying to get out of the sand and charging at Namike for revenge. Namike decided to do a hug as Goku charged at him and did a similar throw as Goku but without the damage by lifting him slightly before he hit the ground and using the flowing sand instead solid sand Goku fell on before. Goku still clung on Namike causing both of them to roll down the sand hill.

Goku and Namike were both laid down on their backs later looking at the starry sky turning slowly yellow which you normally don't see in the busy cities. They enjoyed the peaceful night before remembering that they stopped in front of a glowing hill. Namike decide to politely knock on what seemed to be a door and heard some crashes and a yelp from what seemed to be a cat before silence occurred with the lights turned off. Namike got a little impatient due to the continued silence and decided to knock again on the door. Goku was a bit confused why Namike is knocking on a wall before he realised it was a door. He got excited as it seemed like a hideout with maybe hidden treasure within. After seeing Namike's failed attempts to make the door open, Goku decided to bulldoze through and before he could touch the door, the door opened on its own. Goku instead tripped and slid to the feet of a small cat standing on its two legs.

Namike was suspicious of the hideout he saw but it cleared up once he saw a small blue cat standing on its two legs. It was a young Puar Namike couldn't tell if it was male or female. Before Goku could stand up, Namike walked on top of him and decided to introduce himself to Puar.

"Kuuuu Kuuu Kuu Kuuu?" (Hello fine blue cat. I am called Namike or Kid and wanted to ask if we can crash at your place for the night?)

"Hey, Namike. It's fine to crash here as I see you are friendly but let me ask my best friend Yamcha as he is the owner."

"Kuuuu!" (Okay, Thank you very much!)

Goku underneath was trying to introduce himself but he wasn't able to lift himself up as Namike was applying pressure to his body. When Puar went inside the hideout, Namike decided to let Goku stand up before he suffocated from swallowing some sand. Goku stood up as straight as a needle and stared threateningly at Namike. He cursed Namike in his heart that he will have his revenge not knowing that Namike was able to read his intentions very obviously.

Puar came back with a teenage youth with a flamboyant hairstyle and a red hairband. He wore a green shirt with orange trousers which seemed to be the trend in this era. Namike later realises that Gohan will have Yamcha's hairstyle as a kid which leads to some ideas disturbingly made in his mind before he shakes them out of his head with the logic that Gohan is half-saiyan.

Namike looked towards Yamcha and saw that he looked a bit scared looking at Namike before looking schemingly at Goku. Goku didn't pay much attention to Yamcha but was excited to meet a talking cat instead. Living with Namike opened the possibility of other animals being able to talk which excited Goku as they may be as strong as Namike. Goku didn't realise that Namike is a dragon which has more legends and myths than any animal due to its strength, unlike Puar who was a pure support type character.

"Hello, I am Son Goku. May I ask for your name?" (Goku)

"My name is Puar. Nice to meet you." (Puar)

"I am the great bandit, Yamcha. Hand over your belongings if you want to live!" (Yamcha)

Yamcha expected to see Goku scared as he was taller and possibly more powerful than Goku only to realise that Goku seemed excited as this gave him a reason to fight someone who seemed powerful. Goku decided to go towards Yamcha with about 10% and probe his strength which is Namike's style of fighting that has been rubbed in. Yamcha saw Goku running towards him and decided to do his signature move, Wolf Fang's fist, but it seemed like Goku predicted it as he increased his speed and swerved to the side before landing a punch to Yamcha's abdomen. Goku expected Yamcha to predict this obvious move and dodge but Yamcha was sent flying back into the hideout instead. Goku paused for a second thinking that it was an illusion before staring blankly inside the hideout.

Namike stood on the side enjoying the show as he knew that Yamcha decided to go after Goku as he looked more intimidating but didn't realise that Namike and Goku were currently evenly matched in combat prowess. Puar stood blankly as he saw Yamcha try to steal from some nice people before receiving some punishment. He didn't expect Goku to be so strong while Namike seemed to be strong as well as he saw how Namike bullied Goku by stepping on him.
