A new world, fresh, clean,nothing abnormal.

 Steve is laughing with Alex. They head to the village with the small supplies that they have. Greet the villagers, trade, harvest some meat and different supplies. Alex finds a chest with an iron sword.

Alex: Steve!

Steve: Yeah?

Alex: Look what I found!

Alex runs out of the villager's home weilding the iron sword.

Alex: Check it out. Isn't it cool?

Steve: Alex . . . 

Alex: What's wrong?

Alex looks up from the shiny new weapon to look at a terrified Steve.

Steve: We have to leave! Now!

Alex: But we just got here! 

Steve: No time for questions, run! 

As Steve began to runaway from the village Alex glances back. A strange creature that looks almost exactly like Steve is standing there with their head bowed.

Alex: Steve, come back! It's just a fellow player.

Alex looks back and sees that Steve has already left. 

???: Where is Steve

The player speaks.

Alex: Hi,I'm Alex! What's your name?

???: Where is Steve 

Alex: Steve?

???: Where. Is. Steve?!

The player's head snaps up and Alex sees the horror. A face exactly like Steve's but with pure glowing white eyes. 

Alex: Who are you?!

Steve: Alex! Run! 

Alex looks and sees Steve has returned. She bolts towards him just as lightning strikes where she had been. She and Steve bolt through the forest until they were far deep into it.

Alex: Who was that?!

Steve heaved in a breath but didn't answer.

Alex: Steve, who was that?! They looked exactly like you but . . . But their eyes were . . . White.

Steve: I know, Alex.

Alex: Have you seen him before? Who is he? Why was he asking for you?

Steve: It doesn't matter. All that matters is that he's dangerous.

Alex: No Steve. It does matter. Tell me!

Steve: Fine. Yes, I've seen him before. He was asking for me because he wanted to talk to me, since we're kind of rivals.

Alex: And who is he?

Steve: His name is . . . Herobrine.

Alex: Herobrine?!

Suddenly Alex jumps back and runs into a tree, knocking herself over. She glances at Steve,

Alex: But I thought he was just a myth.

Steve: Well sometimes, myths are true.

Alex: But normally they aren't! There's no way that's him. It's gotta be some kid playing a prank or something!

Steve: No Alex. I'm afraid he's real. 

Alex: Have you seen him before?

Steve just looked at Alex then at the floor.

Alex: You have, haven't you? Why didn't you tell me?!

Steve: I didn't wanna worry you!

Alex: Well it's too late for that now! It would have been better if I had known he was here rather than nearly getting killed!

Steve: I didn't think he'd go after you!

Alex: Well he did!  

Steve: Clearly!

Alex stares hard at Steve before taking out her new sword,

Alex: I'm going back.

Steve: What?!

Alex: I'm going to confront him.

Steve: No! Alex, he's dangerous!

Alex: I know he is, but I'm going to find out what he wants!

Steve: You really think that's our best option?

Alex: Our option? No. This is MY best option Steve. 

Alex turned and began to run

Steve: Alex, wait!

Alex didn't slow, if anything she went faster.

Alex: I will find you Herobrine!

As Alex reached the village she stopped dead in her tracks. The entire place was in shreds. The buildings were burning, a clump of iron ingots and a poppy showed that the iron golem had been killed, only one villager remained and he seemed to be severely damaged, the pens of animals were empty and the animal's loot was on the ground. Alex ran up to the villager.

Alex: What happened?!

*HURR*

Alex: Stupid NPC. Can't tell me anything!

Alex began searching the wrecked village. There was nothing.

Alex: Did Herobrine do this?

???: Yes.

Alex spun around and was face to face with the myth himself.

Alex: Herobrine?! You're . . . You're actually real?!

Herobrine: Yes Alex, yes I am.

Alex: And you did this?

Herobrine: Why, yes of course! Who else would be able to make this much destruction?

Alex: But why?! What did this village ever do to you?

Herobrine: It got in the way. Like you.

Alex: In the way? In the way of what?

Herobrine: Getting my revenge on Steve.

Alex: Steve? What did he do?

Herobrine: He took my entire life away from me! Friends, family, my entire dignity! Everyone was all caught up with Steve that they even ignored my existence! SO NOW IS MY TIME TO TAKE HIS LIFE! Starting with YOU.

Alex: What are you gonna do?

Alex slowly shrank back from the beast.

Herobrine: You'll see.

Alex couldn't hold it in any longer, she screamed. 

Herobrine: Shut up! Someone will hear you!

Herobrine smacked Alex and a heart shrank away from her. Alex shakely jumped back.

Alex: Get away from me! 

Herobrine only smirked.

Steve: Step away from her Herobrine.

Herobrine spun around and stared at Steve.

Herobrine: Ooh, Steve! Finally come back from cowarding in the forest, have we?!

Steve: Go Alex!

Herobrine: Oh she's not going anywhere.

Suddenly a box of bedrock encased Alex. Only a single block was missing so she could watch. The grass beneath her had also turned to bedrock. Alex tried to reach out of the small hole but a strange resistance came.

Herobrine: Don't even try. There's a barrier block there. There's no escape.

Steve: Let her go! She has nothing to do with this!

Herobrine: She does now! Are you ready Steve?! Are you ready for my revenge?!

Herobrine laughed and an object appeared in his hand. A black sharp tool. Pointy and ready to hurt someone. A netherite sword.
