Ash is next to Sarge.

"How's it going, Sarge?" Donut asks.

"Well, Simmons has had Grif prisoner in there for far too long." Sarge explains.

68747470733a2f2f73332e616d617a6f6e6177732e636f6d2f776174747061642d6d656469612d736572766963652f53746f7279496d6167652f693973505a634a5277327a4e72673d3d2d313234323637323436352e313666653166333232383531303963613938393135363137313930372e706e67

Sarge continues. "He's probably subjecting him to all manner of unbearable torture!"

He deserves it." Ash says. "He ate the last of my Doritos!"

Sarge continues. "I figure in just a manner of hours, Grif's spirit will be as broken as his body. Unable to cope with the never-ending stimulation of pain and horror! But in answer to your question, things are fine! Could be a little warmer, but I can't complain."

"My right shoulder hurts.....again.....fuck." Ash says. "I should see a doctor. Maybe he can explain my shoulder,  other than all the weird scars on it."

Donut ignoring Ash. "But, Sarge! Aren't you afraid he'll give away valuable information?"

68747470733a2f2f73332e616d617a6f6e6177732e636f6d2f776174747061642d6d656469612d736572766963652f53746f7279496d6167652f567045506d35786d354f562d42773d3d2d313234323637323436352e313666653166613766363034376639323935323936323837383237342e706e67

"Why would Simmons give Grif information?" Sarge asks.

"No, I mean what if Grif tells Simmons valuable information about our operations?" Donut asks and Both Ash and Sarge stare at Donut. "Yeah, that sounded smarter before I said it."

"I bet." Sarge quips.

"Speaking of operations, though. Remember how I told you I wanted to incorporate more positive reinforcement techniques in review sessions?"

"Donut, for the last time! Me calling you a worthless turd is not a review session."

"And remember how you said any proposals had to be submitted in handwritten triplicate with no less than one hundred pages?" Donut asks.

"Yes..." Sarge begins. "Which would take weeks! .... You're finished aren't you...?"

"Only if calligraphy's okay! And I dotted all the 'i's with hearts! Hee hee hee. hee hee!"

Sarge groans.

"I never thought someone would actually do that." Ash says to himself.

Donut continues. "Let me just give you a little teaser on some of the changes.  Think... mauve!"

"Aw, Donut!" Sarge says.

"What? You don't like it? Mauve is a form of red!"

"No it's not. It's a form of pink." Ash mumbles.

"Oh, it's not that." Sarge starts. "I just realized that my only way out of this situation is to launch a rescue mission to save Grif. I've got me one of them...uh, Donut? What's a fancy word for choosing between two things you don't wanna do?"

"Uh... conundrum?" Donut says. "Dilemma? A threesome with cheerleaders?"

"What the hell?" Ash says.

"I'm gonna go with conundrum." Sarge states.
