“Hm?”

“He makes us come here every week to act in his damn story and he’s late half the time. Now he’s not even here.”

“He did say he’s busy.”

“Doesn’t matter! He coulda at least given me a raise!”

“You can’t spend money even if he paid you in the first place.”

“Then spend it in my place!”

“It’s not like he pays me anything either.”

“You don’t get paid!? Then what are you in this for?”

“He said he’ll always keep me fed.”

“Yeah, with garbage food!”

“Food’s food. You don’t have much room to complain here.”

“Fair enough, I guess.”

“Still, he is taking a bit too long, wonder what’s the hold up.”

“Bet he’s cheating on us with some new story he found on the streets.”

“That basically never happens when a character suspects it.”

“You read too many stories.”

“You can’t even turn a page. Just be patient, alright? I’m sure he’ll come back.”

“Hah, fine…”

Author’s note: I’m back! So I finished off all the shifts my manager assigned me, did a lot of translation work (I run a translation group btw), and moved to my university campus. Tomorrow’s the first day of school so the update speed might reduce later on as I get more work. For now, I’ll try to get the next chapter out by… let’s say Saturday.
