I stopped time before the giant branch could strike me, The world turned grey as everything halted except for me.

I let gravity do it's work, Falling back to the ground before resuming time.

As soon as time resumed I dashed towards the momentarily stunned tree with my full speed, The ground under me shattered to bits forming a small but deep crater.

I pounced on it while flooding my scythe with my MA energy, Making it glow a sinister dark purple.

Although the tree had an advantage when it came to strength, Experience and destructive ability, I was still much faster than it, Couple that with my time powers and I am untouchable, At least with the current abilities it has shown.

I reached the tree's trunk before it had time to stop me and swung my scythe at it with all my strength. 

Depending on the result I will choose the best course of action, If I judge that it's impossible to beat or escape from I will simply lower my head and plead for mercy while offering my servitude to it.

Ten years of slavery is better than an eternal death.

My scythe managed to cut through the tree's trunk with only a bit of resistance making a 5 meter long and 1 meter deep slash.

However as soon as I cut the tree my entire body and scythe were instantly ignited by white flames, Even GLaDOS caught fire.

The fires had no temperature yet they brought me tremendous pain as they ate through my body, My skin was burnt off and fire flooded my veins making my blood instantly evaporated.

I was the one that took such severe damage even though I was the one to attack. The tree barely got a scratch considering it's size.

My spider instincts screamed at me as I felt a branch whipping towards me from behind.

I ignored the pain and stopped time again. Letting good old gravity do it's job as I fell back to the ground.

I ran to the barrier and removed GLaDOS or at least what's left of her off my back along with my clothes, They would just get in the way, I also have to make sure that my stuff doesn't get completely destroyed.

'These flames can't be put out by normal means. I have to hurry.'

I dug my Kakuja into the ground and made it spin like a drill, I didn't stop until I reached a depth of 200 meters, Making a deep and narrow hole that was only wide enough to fit my foot into.

I quickly broke off the skull ornament on my scythe, One of GLaDOS's fingers that wasn't on fire, My phone and a piece of my clothes that wasn't on fire.

I stuffed them all into the hole before covering it all back up, I did all this while still being on damn fire, I can't put it out no matter how much I roll on the ground, I can only stop time for so long so I just decided to bear with it.

Time resumed, The tree hit itself and soon found out that it's target was gone and had reached all the way to the other side of the barrier instantly.

The tree hated having to deal with a teleporting enemy, Her enemy was only tiring themselves out and annoying her. Even if it can teleport it can't breach the barrier. 

And now that her flames were attached to it, It only had a minute at most to live before her flames burn it into nothing using it's own vitality as fuel.

"Give up, My flames have touched you, They won't extinguish until there aren't even ashes left of you, You are already dead, So why struggle and die in unimaginable pain? Stop this futile resistance and fall quietly. As an act of mercy I will make sure your death is painless.", The tree said in a commanding voice.

'Why the fuck is she talking? We're fighting. What kind of Chunnibyu crap is this?', I thought.

'Sure it's painful, But so what? Pain is just that, Pain. And inextinguishable? I think she gives herself too much credit.'

I used my rewind powers on the flames making them disappear off of me and my scythe.

"NooOOooOoOOoOOOOOOOOooooooo", GLaDOS hysterically screamed behind me as she writhed on the ground, Trying to extinguish herself.

GLaDOS suddenly found herself in darkness, She was in her master's inner coat pocket before. Now, Through the connection with her body she found herself to be Fifty meters underground.

GLaDOS guesses that it was her "brilliant" creator's doing, Probably wanted to preserve his property from being completely destroyed. As evidence for that is one of her body's fingers among other things that belonged to her creator, Left here to Keep her company.

GLaDOS didn't like being put in a hole like this, Not because she wanted to fight alongside her creator or anything of the sort.

It's just that if her creator dies she might be stuck here for millions of years, The phone which she lives in is sturdy enough and has more than enough battery life to survive that long.

GLaDOS decided to play along with her master's ruse, After all this might be the last time she sees him.

"NooOOooOoOOoOOOOOOOOooooooo", GLaDOS's body made a heart rending scream as she writhed on the ground for a few seconds before being burnt to nothing.

(A/N: If you wanna hear the scream just look up a clip of Wheatley replacing GLaDOS in portal 2, Seriously it's a really nice scream, Go ahead, Do it, This can wait.)

Shēnghuó was astonished to see that her flames were extinguished so easily, Instead of being burnt to nothing, The half human half spider's entire body was scorched black and left steaming.

His weapon was completely fine, Untouched. Although his partner died in agony, He didn't seem to care. As expected of invaders, They have no compassion for even their own kind.

'I'll have to take this thing seriously. Who knows what kind of other-worldly abilities and schemes it might still be hiding', The tree thought.

I tapped my scythe on the barrier, I expected it to zap me or something but nothing happened, It just felt extremely sturdy and durable, Like a brick wall.

'Meh, Fighting it anymore will just be a waste of energy, Plan Deidara it is then.', I decided as I transformed from my arachne form into my human form.

My body started regenerating, Blood started coursing through my veins again and my flesh which had turned charcoal black started falling off as new pink flesh started growing in it's place.

I held my scythe as I started walking slowly towards the tree, All of the MA energy in my soul was pumped into my body, Making a transparent aura with black spots around it envelope me.

Seeing me flare up my mana seemingly preparing for a big attack the tree opened a portal and out of it slipped a black koi fish with a large white spot on its head along with some water.

It fell into the pond where the turtle ducks used to take up residence and just started swimming in circles.

If I remember correctly, This should be La the spirit of the ocean and in it's mortal form no less.

'I thought this was going to be a lose lose situation but I might actually gain something.', I thought while suppressing a smirk from surfacing on my face, But then I realized that I had no lips as they were burnt off.

"La, I need your help in defeating this invader. If I don't dispose of it, It will cause great instability to the balance if not completely destroy it. Hold it still for me and I will do the rest.", The tree said.

LA didn't make any sort of response for an entire minute, A minute that I used to get only 100 meter away from the tree, But then however all the water in the pond floated towards me.

I didn't resist as it enveloped me and kept compressing trapping me using a ginormous amount of water pressure.

The tree, Overjoyed by the fact that La decided to cooperate stabbed one of her roots towards me, It pierced through both the water and my my head, Popping it like a balloon.

The chi of the invader disappeared as soon as Shēnghuó's root pierced through it's head, Making her rejoice at having managed to get rid of the pest without a drawn out cat and mouse game.

No it's chi wasn't entirely gone, There was a small spot in it's abdomen where a bit of chi was still there.

As soon as Shēnghuó realized it's existence, The tiny dot suddenly expanded in all directions like the universe after the big bang.

The entire barrier was filled with light, It twisted and contorted for a few times before shattering and letting the world be enveloped by blinding light so bright it made the morning sky look dim. There was no sound, Just light.

The light slowly faded. Exposing the scene after the explosion. The barrier was gone and where it once stood was only a giant crater half a kilometer wide.

The giant tree, The koi fish, The pond and the arachne had all disappeared without a trace. Leaving behind only a crater behind in the expansive grasslands. Well that AND the sudden turning of all the world's oceans into a glowing red color.

A small black sphere unseen by the naked eye floater over the crater.

'HehehehhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I did it! I fucking did it! I killed La! I survived!!!', I couldn't stop a giggle from escaping my mouth that soon turned into a chuckle that would grow into full blown laughter as I observed the results of my magnificent art.

I made a show out of some of my MA energy that kept the tree distracted while I compressed most of it into a single point in my body.

I compressed it until the point where it took my entire concentration to keep it compressed, I then just waited for the tree and La to do their thing.

Just milliseconds before the tree destroyed my brain I disconnected it from my soul, I can't believe they let me get so close to them. La got completely obliterated while the tree although not dead has been at least injured.

I prepared to be hit by the biggest rush of memories in my life. The thing was said to have existed ever since the beginning of time and if that's even remotely true I might become La instead of D. I'll more than probably have to brain wash my new self into becoming my old self.

'I want all the power in existence, I want all the power in existence, I want all the power in existence.', I chanted over and over in my head. That was the most important part to me, The only part I can absolutely never give up.

I plunged myself as deep as possible underground before I activated my ability.

I experienced more than five hundred thousand years in a single second.

Surprisingly most of it was straight forward and simple, One day Tui and I just popped up, We really liked each other's company so we decided to hangout for the rest of eternity and dance it all away.

I pulled and she pushed, That's all we did. We rarely let anything interrupted us, Such a thing happened only around a thousand times. Only once around five hundred years is good.

Most of the time it was by other spirits who were too chatty and would interrupt our flow with their endless talking.

Sometimes it was chatty or greedy humans.

I miss Tui......Why did I have to be called by that horrid woman. Tui must be so worried about me, Dancing alone is lonely.

I wanna go back home...

Dancing with Tui is so much fun, So warm, So cozy.....I really love her....
