Mark POV

Her eyes were smoldering with anger. She tightly clenched her hands at her sides in to a pair of fists as I watched how her plump cherry stained bottom lip got drawn between her teeth.

She tried her best to hide her emotions from her friend, but her displeasure about the living together situation was just emitting from her body.

I could feel the corners of my lips curl up at the sight of this adorable woman who resembled a feisty cat. I find it fucking alluring when she’s furious. It awakes the sadistic side of me who wants to dominate this attractive woman.

The need to ravage her mouth until her eyes smolders with heat instead with fury, until she turns into goo in my embrace, until she gasps for air as her eyes tears up from pleasure, until she begs for more. The want to do all of those things with her increases by day as I am basking myself in her presences.

God, I want to turn her into a submissive mess right here, right now. But I can’t. Not until she uses those sinful lips to beg me, to ask me to make love to her.

And when she does…

A smirk that I couldn’t withhold made its way into my face.

I will make sure that she wouldn’t be able to walk for days.

“Then we will go ahead and go back to work, Mr. Moore.” A soft, careful voice intervened with my thoughts, pulling me back to reality.

My eyes darted to the owner of that voice, the so-called best friend of my woman.

Oh, you’re still here?’ I almost voiced out my thoughts and had to hold back a scoff, but could keep the benign smile on my face from faltering. “Sure Ms. Baker, and I will see you later Ms. Westwood.”

April gave me a steel glare before her annoying friend dragged away. I waved them off silently with a smile on my face. That smile was quickly turned upside down when I saw Cherry throwing a glance at me over her shoulder. Vertical lines appearing between her eyebrows as she pondered about something before she too disappeared from my eyes-sight.

She’s sharp.

I let out a heavy sigh as I combed my hair with my fingers. I could sense the aura of mistrust emitting from those eyes of hers. April should give a bit more credit to her friend’s sharpness. She may not have been able to put two and two together, but that expression of hers told me she didn’t trust me fully.

I folded my arms as I stared at the still open door thoughtfully. I don’t really care if she figures everything out as I can eradicate her from existence with the snap of my fingers, but then I would lose my blackmail material and any chances that I would have with April. So, I truly hope from the depths of my heart that she stays oblivious to the situation until April and I get married.

My phone buzzed, and I raised my eyebrows, surprised, but pleased to see that my sweet kitten had taken the initiative to send me a message first for the first time. I couldn’t help but let a mellow expression take over my face to see our relationship develop to the next level.

My Adorable-Sexy Kitten: “You planned this, didn’t you!?”

Me: “I don’t know what you mean~,”

My Adorable-Sexy Kitten: “You asswipe don’t bother acting dumb!”

Me: “If you mean with plan the plan where I made you tell your friend about your situation so that I could have her agree with you living with me and doing that leaves you with no way out? Then yes, I planned that :)”

She didn’t answer me back for few minutes. When her reply came, my smile turned into a sly one as my eyes twinkled with amusement.

My Adorable-Sexy Kitten: “I’m not going with you.”

I already knew that April wasn’t planning to come with me obediently and already took that in to account.

Me: “You will.” I assured her.

I shut the screen of my phone and put it away as I waltzed back to my office, letting out a chuckle at the thought of April, whose face would have flared up in anger after seeing my last message. I’m sure that she wants to scream **** or **** from the top of her longs but isn’t able to do it. Isn’t she just cute?

Sitting in the office, I was signing off some papers; screening over some rapports and document as I hummed delighted, my face features pulled into a tight smile.

“What got you in such a chipper mood, sir?”

I glanced sideways at my sectary, Snake, whose eyebrows were raised to his hairline as a curious smile was etched on his face. “Is perhaps Ms. Westwood the reason that it may storm tomorrow, hmm?” He queried, bemused.

I chuckled lightly; the sound of it laced with a hum of amusement. “She sure is.” I said happily, confirming his suspicions. Letting go of the pen, I rested my chin on my clasped hands, my face void from any emotions.

“I expect everything is ready.” My voice, that was now cold compared to the delighted tone from earlier, caused the air in the room to go stale.

Matching my facial expression, Snake nodded. “We have prepared the house as you had requested.”

“Good.” I gathered the documents and put them by the rest of the pile that would soon be shredded into pieces. “Also-” I wanted to discuss more about the plans surrounding my kitten, but a loud knock from the door disturbed our conversation.

Both our eyes shifted to the door, not uttering any sounds until we heard another knock, followed by a high-pitched voice.

“Mr. Moore? I have some documents that you need to sign.”

I groaned inwardly at the disturbance. “Come in.” I said, trying to keep the twinge of annoyance at bay.

The door opened and I almost let out a string of profanities at the sight of abomination that strutted inside my office. With every step she took, she made sure to sway her hips in a way that would catch my eyes. Her lips, that were painted in crimson red, were pulled in a seductive grin as she batted her fake eyelashes at me.

I cleared my throat. “Miss Sabrina.”

Her smile grew hearing me say her name.

“Mr. Moore.” She purred and I could feel the bile in my stomach rise at the voice that sounded like nails being dragged down the chalkboard. “We need you to sign these documents so that we could start on the project.” She said while placing them on my desk as she remained in the hunched over position, forcing me to glance at her cleavage. One waft of her overpowering perfume and I could feel my nostrils burning.

I grunted and took the documents from her quickly to sign them. I handed them back to her and as I did, I could feel her fingers tracing the back of my hand before taking the documents. “Thank you.” She crooned sweetly as she chews on her bottom lip.

God, I want to kill her.’ She would be perfect as a black pawn piece.

I put on a benign smile that I was able to muster. “Have a nice day, miss Sabrina.”

Happy, as if she achieved something, she sashayed away.

The moment I heard the clicking sound of the closing door, I dropped the smile as I leaned back in the chair, exasperating. “Snake.” I called.

He looked at me. “Yes, sir?”

“Get rid of that pest for me.” I commanded.

A demonic smile appeared on his face as he let his split tongue slither across his lips. “With pleasure.”

I sighed, covering my face with my palms. God, I want to see April so badly right now. That walking Barbie doll had destroyed my mood completely and I need April to fix that. I want to put my nose in the crook of her neck and take a deep whiff of her mint chocolate scent to purify my nose from that poisonous gas.

‘I want to see her.

I glanced at the computer screen where I saw my baby girl working at her desk. Every so often, her fingers would halt above the keyboard and she would ruffle her hair in frustration, letting out a groan.

She eyed towards the clock that was hanging on the wall. Worried lines were marring her forehead as she bites down on her bottom lip (sexily), mulling over something before quickly shooting up from her seat. Grabbing her stuff in a rush, she excused herself and left early, thinking that she could avoid me.

Not letting that happen, I slammed my hands on the table and propelled myself up. Forcing my legs to hurry, I waltzed quickly to the door. “I’m going home. You’ll take care of the rest and send some men to bring April to me.” I instructed Snake before stepping out of the door.

Snake nods his head. “I will. Have a nice day Sir.”

I grin ear to ear, satisfied with the answer that my secretary, who is also a hitman, gave me.

“Oh, I will have a good day.”

My arms were folded against my chest as I leaned against my car in the parking garage. I could hear the tapping sound of my index finger against my elbow alongside with the tapping sound of my feet against the hard concrete floor as I waited impatiently for my baby to show up.

“Let me go, you bullies!”

Grunting and trashing sounds could be heard, followed by a colorful sense of vocabulary that my baby was screaming at the two grown men who were carrying her towards me.

The two security men were each on her side, hooking their arms under her armpits, hoisting her up mid-air so that even her legs were dangling around. My eyebrows were raised, amused at the view of the defeated expression that was plastered on April’s face, but I also couldn’t help but growl slightly at the same time seeing the men touching mine woman.

Hearing the deep throaty sound and seeing the threatening glare from me, the two security guards instantly lowered April down. They both bowed their head apologetic as they eyed at me nervously.

April caressed her arms with a frown on her face and would wince whenever her hand would glide over a certain spot. I grimaced and shot a murderous glint at the two men, contemplating whether I should kill them now or later for bruising my little kitten.

“Mark.” A voice etched with nervousness and worry called out to me. I glanced downwards at April, who slightly shook her head from left to right, watching me cautiously as if she knew what I was thinking.

Hmm… she should really understand by now that I don’t enjoy seeing her defending other men. It only quickens my raging blood, but I guess I can hold off my killing spree until after my baby has fallen asleep. Today is a special day, after all. We shouldn’t start our first day cohabiting with bloodied hands.

Clearing my throat, I let my killing intent go and shifted my attention back to my small ball of fury. My eye twitched when I saw April’s small palm still resting on top of her bruised arm.

I will kill them slowly.

Smiling, I opened the door of the passenger seat, gesturing for her to get in.

She crossed her arms in front of her chest, huffing as she gave me this (cute) defiant look. “I still have to get some stuff from my house.”

“My secretary already brought all your necessities to our house.”

Her frown deepened, not liking the sound of me referring to her new place as ‘our’ house, but the slight red hue that stained her cheeks as I said that only made her look cuter and made me want to embrace and kiss her.

“So how about you get in and we can quickly go home.” My voice came out gruffer than I expected, as I desired to be alone with my kitten.

She glared at me silently for what felt like hours, but eventually went inside the car. I blinked continuously, stupefied at how she easily complied with me without giving me her doses of foul words, but I didn’t complain and quickly closed the door.

I nodded with a blank expression at the two security guards, giving them the sign to buzz off. They complied and left to go back to their post, not knowing that today would be their last work day.

Without wasting anymore precious time, I jumped in the driver's seat and drove off, but not before throwing a stealthy glance at my kitten who hasn’t as much hissed at me. I couldn’t help but narrow my eyes suspiciously at her finding her silent behavior odd, wondering if she again is coming up with a plan to run away from me again.

I shrugged and focused my eyes back on the road.

Well, whatever plan she may come up with, I’ll be there to counterattack it.
