The purpose of taming beast was to let the tamer grow stronger alongside the beast. Now that Howell remembered, Little Red had reached Gold Rank in the Idle Training Dimension.

Of course, the teacher had a beast companion that could detect the fluctuation of someone's conscious energy. This was his method of discerning the student's statement and the facts.
