"Hahaha, you are just like Sengoku. He also overthinks, but you know sometimes luck is more decisive than the mind, brat," Garp said with a peal of laughter as his first mate Bogard arrived at the scene.

"Sir, why are you lying on the ground like that?" This was the first thing Bogard asked as he arrived.

"*Cough* nothing serious, you don't need to worry about it, just take both of us to my ship," Garp said with a tad bit of embarrassment in his tone.

After all, he can't say that he, a dignified Marine Hero, was fooled by a young boy into becoming part of his pirate crew. His image would be ruined, and he would become a laughingstock on the sea.

"Are you sure about it?" Bogard asked again before looking at the terribly beaten-up Leo. "What about him? Should we put him in the ship's holding cell?"

What Bogard asked was logical because one could clearly see that Leo had something to do with Vice Admiral Garp's inability to move. He could only be in this state because of an unknown devil fruit ability.

So without waiting for his reply, Bogard took out a seastone-coated handcuff and cuffed one of Leo's hands with it.

"Oh, Sir, we heard that one of the marine soldiers was kidnapped, and the kidnappers were escaping in a black three-masted galleon ship. So two of our ships and three from this base were chasing after them, and we hope to catch them soon," Bogard said as he helped Garp stand up.

Leo, who was clearly ignored by Bogard after he put the seastone cuff on his head, was surprised that they were chasing after Black Pearl.

'Well, as long as they don't have another crazy strong person on board with them, they will not be able to capture them. So, they are saved now,' Leo thought as a relieved look appeared on his face.

When Bogard saw the relief look on his face, he quickly became alert. In search of his partner or a reason for him to look so relieved, he spread out his observation haki.

But before he could do anything further, Leo spoke with a slight grin on his face, "Alright, old man, I will be departing now, but don't forget to send a detailed map of the Grand Line to Ace."

Garp, who had just recovered control over his body, quickly turned his head toward him in shock after hearing that he was planning to run away.

While Bogard was surprised to hear Ace's name being mentioned, he was more focused on the part of him asking Vice Admiral Garp to send the detailed map of the Grand Line.

"And how will you do that, brat?" Garp asked with a curious expression on his face. "Don't you know the condition of your body? You would die without immediate treatment."

While he wants to see how Leo will escape this situation, he also doesn't wish for him to die because of those injuries.

Hearing this grin on Leo's face widened as he replied, "This is Tis but a scratch."

"A scratch, seriously?" Garp said with a stupefaction expression. He saw that almost all his bones were broken by him, and he called them nothing but a scratch.

.

Anyone can see that Leo is in no position to walk, let alone run away from here. But since he has such a miraculous thing like this card, he might have something to escape from here. So Garp was also interested to hear how he would run away from them.

Leo just smiled at his question before taking out a blue scroll with weird markings to humor him.

As soon as Leo took out the scroll, Bogard snatched the scroll from his hand at blinding speed.

Bogard didn't know why they were talking like that. However, he just saw a supposed devil fruit user move his hand, and a scroll appeared on his hand while being bound with sea stone.

'Has he used his Devil Fruit ability? But that shouldn't be possible. No devil fruit user can neglect the effect of sea stone and use his devil fruit abilities.' Bogard thought as he grew even warier of him after this display.

"And now, how will you escape?" Garp asked as a large smile appeared on his face when he saw Bogard snatching that scroll.

But despite all this, Leo remained calm while his cocky smile remained on his face. He took out another identical blue scroll like before and said, "With the help of this."

But Borgard once again yanked the scroll away from him before he could react.

When the second scroll was snatched from him, the smile on Leo's face was also wiped out, and a frown took its place.

Seeing this, Garp busts into fits of laughter, "do you have anything else left, brat?"

Leo slowly turned his head toward Garp and replied in a miserable tone, "I don't know, it was the last one."

Hearing this, Garp laughed even louder as this meant that he had won and Leo would be captured by him. Now he just had to get his stupid grandson and other members of their crew and have them become Marines.

"Wait, I remembered something," Leo said in an excited tone before doing a snap with his fingers.

As soon as the snap happened, both scrolls Bogard held started to shine with blue light. Then, a small explosion of light immediately engulfed him completely.

As the light faded, they could see that Bogard was covered in the blue sticky slime-like substance from head to toe, with only his face uncovered. Which makes it impossible for him to move.

"What the hell, brat? What is this shit?" Garp asked with a bewildered expression on his face.

That jelly-like thing completely covered Bogard while making it impossible for him to move despite how much he struggled to move.

"That old man was a trap scroll. They could trap a Rear Admiral-level powerhouse for a day without being able to move, and they can be customized however you want." Leo explained the scroll in a pleased tone, "pretty neat, huh?"

After hearing this, Garp sighed in relief as nothing terrible had happened to his right-hand man.

Leo took out another scroll, this time in purple, and crushed it with his hand as a purple light started to cover his whole body.

The item Leo uses is a teleportation scroll that has a 90% chance of taking him to his desired location. It also has a 10% chance for him to randomly teleport to any place in this world.

But this scroll has one downside. It will take at least 30 seconds after crushing it for him to teleport, and he cannot be interrupted while the process continues. So if he used it while Bogard was free, he could have touched him or something. The process would have been interrupted by him, so it was best to take care of him first before using it.

"Goodbye, old man, and don't worry about him. He is stronger than a Rear Admiral, so he will only be in this situation for a few hours at most." Leo said before he was covered in blinding purple light and teleported away.

"Damn it!" Garp cursed as Leo disappeared in a purple flash before turning toward Bogard and saying, "He is good, isn't he?"

"Sir, I don't think you should compliment a pirate that fooled you twice in a day," Bogard said as an annoyed expression appeared on his face before it turned into a pleading one, as no matter how much he tried, he could not escape the binding himself. "Sir, don't you think you should help me out here?"
