I am currently sitting on a log right by a dog park, simply because the scene before me was beautiful.

Truth be told, just a year ago I disliked going outside. The technology now has advanced to the point where you wont need to go out unless you lack Vitamin D. As a result, my existence is more or less an introverted university student who barely touched grass. It was peaceful and fulfilling over the course of the year, but as the New Year arrived I realized that something was missing. After reminiscing on the events that have occurred in my life, I came to three conclusions:

I need to try something new

My youth was yet to be filled

I was simply overthinking things

As an *clears throat* optimistic individual, number three was ruled out. So in the end I was left with the two aforementioned conclusions above. With only three months left until the end of 2019, the decision laid on me to figure out what the missing piece in my heart was.

Anyway, time went by and September 2019 rolled along. Weather wise, it already felt like Fall. After looking outside my house window, I noticed that the trees were more colorful than usual. They were covered in orange, red, and yellow leaves that blew with the wind.

Okay that description made me cringe but they basically swayed before landing on the ground.

In awe of what I was seeing, I left the house and headed for the park leading to my current position. This was my attempt at rediscovering the outside world that I had no connection to.

“Here’s hope to finding an answer” I thought to myself, as I watched the autumn leaves fall.

Though first, I need to touch grass.
