I woke up in a bed made out of straw. My head feels blank. My body hurts all over the place. It hurts just to stand. I took a glance at my body. It was covered in thick bandages. What just happened?

I took a glance at my surroundings. In the rooms, there were nothing but a bed made of straw and some tables and chairs which were made of wood.

I tried to think what happened prior to falling unconscious but I couldn’t think of any. I thought long and hard but still can’t recall any moment. The fleeting faces of someone passed through my eyes yet it was blurry covered in white fog. Is this a case of amnesia I wonder?

As I was thinking to myself, a rough looking adult walked into the room. His sudden appearance along with his menacing looks shocked me.

I rolled off the bed, trying to hide myself behind the cover of the bed. He let out a small laughter over my actions. His gaze was warm and full of affection. Seemingly out of place with his menacing looks.

“@#% !@$% >” $#@!$  I#IU!?”

He slowly walked towards me while speaking strange incomprehensible words. He stretched out his hand as if it were to touch me. I walked slowly backwards, afraid of what he might do to me.

“#$@!@$*( *!@*&$))#* $!($(@!”

He speaks more incomprehensible words after seeing my actions. I tilted my head sideways in confusion. Seeing my actions he put on a small but noticeable smile on his face.

He approached me with a calm demeanor. He stood before me before kneeling on his knees. His hand slowly stretches out toward my hand. He let out a small gesture making him look seemingly harmless.

I couldn’t help but feel slightly afraid with his menacing looks. Yet his gaze is full of warmness and kindness. I grasped his hand with my tiny hands. He made a warm smile before carrying me up his shoulder. I was shocked by his actions yet my instinct told me it was safe to trust him.

He slowly walked out of the room while carrying me in his hand. It was bright outside compared to the dark, dimly lighted room. He walked slowly towards a large room. Countless people appeared in the room. They all speaked in more incomprehensible language unbeknownst to me.

Perhaps scared of this unknown group of people, I instinctively hugged the person carrying me. My instinct told me that being with him was the safest.

The man, noticing my actions, spoke in a loud yet sharp tone. It seems as if he is angry at the people that are making a fuss in the large room.

“!@&*(%&!* $@$ *!@$&*( $*@$” , a girl walked out from the crowd and said.

I still couldn’t understand a single word they said yet I felt like it was directed at me. For some odd reason I couldn’t help but felt like the girl was familiar. Perhaps I have encountered her in the past?

“!#129 $&#*!*@ 0$*(#@!$:>$>!@@” the man carrying me replied.

The man then proceeded to hand me over to the girl. I instinctively hugged the man's neck, refusing to let him go. The man let out a short sigh before whispering something into my ears. I could help but felt his words were full of kindness. I let him go as the girl carried me over to another room. I wonder what will await me there.
