_____Yuji Pov______

It has been more than a year since I destroyed the administrators. From this moment on, my training with Kanoh and Mokichi really began. I spent the year traveling all over the world to fight various fighters, strengthening myself at a fast and steady pace. I fought in underground arenas in various countries, and made a name for myself in underground combat.

I have met many people during my travels, but this is not worth mentioning, not now.

In addition to gaining new skills and raising the level of those I already had, my strength took a monstrous leap. I was confident in saying that if I fought with my past self, I would destroy it in a matter of seconds.

I learned every kind of martial art and style that I found interesting, from capoeira on my trip to Brazil, to Lethwei in Myanmar. Despite having so much knowledge in my mind, I was surprised when I found myself able to organize each martial art and use its techniques with mastery, even after months of not training them.

In my search for powerful opponents, I almost died many times when I tried to bite off more than I can swallow, but that didn't stop me from continuing. Karate fighters, Boxers, Muay Thai, Jiujitsu, Baji Quan, and Kung Fu, they were all defeated by me, no matter how strong and skilled they were.

It was about 4 months ago that my training finally ended, where I was taken back to Japan after recovering from injuries from a fight I had against a Chinese martial artist practicing Wing Chun. The man was hard to take down, but he was a complete jerk, using his strength to threaten women into doing his bidding, so I didn't hold back against him.

When I returned to Japan I didn't immediately meet up with my Aunt and my friends, but I started a career in professional MMA and used this to promote my gyms that were under Osanai's name. We already had about 3 branches spread around the country, and my fame as a fighter increased business to extraordinary levels, bringing in sponsorships from major companies.

Osanai himself was already known in the boxing world as a promising young man, with 14 wins and 4 losses on his record, as well as some championship medals. I learned a few months later that he had been knocked out by Mohammad Alai Jr in 14 seconds of the fight, but this did not seem to shake his confidence.

Akira was on a trip with his brother, Kaneda, and it had been a few months since we had heard from him. I didn't worry too much, Akira was smart, he wouldn't jump into danger like an idiot.

In Shiki's case, it was a surprise to discover that he had started his boxing career one month before me, with his grandfather, Makunouchi Ippo, as his trainer. As a 16-year-old boy, he was now sporting defined muscles and looked very much like his grandfather during his active time. He was doing well in fights, with a five-fight winning streak on his record.

I was happy to see how my friends were getting along. All in all, it had been two years since I had started my training, and I was missing their mischief.

Mentioning longing, Kou was looking forward to seeing me. I talked to the little girl on the phone almost every day, and she couldn't stop asking when I would be back. During our calls, she would always tell me about her daily life, talking about how Elena loved to comb her hair and about the lessons she received from Mokichi about Baritsu, at my request. It was gratifying to hear her talk so cheerfully, a complete leap from her old self, made me feel like a proud older brother.

I also kept in touch with Elena and Senju, talking to both of them whenever I could. It was funny how similar and how different the two were. When embarrassed, they acted very similar, but when they talked about their tastes, it was clear how different they were. While Elena had a refined and feminine speech due to her lifestyle, Senju was much more, so to speak, "tomboyish". Despite these differences, both had their own charm that I couldn't help but appreciate. As a person who is not thick as a rock, I knew about both of their feelings for me, but I was still wondering what to do. I didn't have much time to delve into this kind of relationship since I was too busy getting punches from all kinds of ethnic backgrounds.

3 months after I started my MMA career, Agito told me about the annihilation tournament, and that it would only take one more fight for the Nogi group to get Metsudo's blessing to start the tournament. I vaguely remembered this, realizing at what point I was in history when I learned that in 3 days, Ohma Tokita would be fighting Sekibayashi Jun. As the apprentice of Metsudo's Fangs, I usually had access to a lot of information from Kengan battles, and figuring out the location where the fight would take place was not difficult.

Knowing this, I decided to visit Ohma's employer, my uncle, Kazuo Yamashita. I didn't have an opinion about the man since I had little recollection of him, but taking into account what I knew from anime, he seemed like a good man, so that was enough to put him in a good light for me.

Seeing his reaction when he opened the door was funny, and when he left in desperation, probably to follow Ohma's fight, I decided not to follow him, since it would just be a waste of time since I already knew the outcome of the confrontation, besides drawing unnecessary attention. During my training, I was not very discreet, and my existence became quite well known in the world of underground fighting.

Standing in the middle of the room after watching Kazuo leave, I looked around a bit curiously, trying to figure out what to do until he arrived.

"..."

"I think I'll make some cookies."

After being forced to eat only what you have prepared, you tend to learn to cook. In my case, it turned out to be quite an enjoyable Hobbie.

.

Sitting on the living room couch after eating some cookies, I picked up the television remote control and was about to turn it on, only for the sound of the front door opening to reach my ears.

'Uh... It hasn't even been an hour, there's no way he could have returned...' I thought, turning my gaze to the hallway as I waited for whoever had entered the house to reveal themselves.

"Damn, where does he keep the money?" I raised my eyebrow when I heard a voice, a skinny, unshaven teenager walking down the hallway and into the kitchen, completely oblivious to my presence. "Shit... If he hadn't started hiding the money..."

He began frantically rummaging through the kitchen, my brow furrowing as I tried to figure out if he was my cousin or just an idiot trying to rob a house. Letting out a sigh, I stood up and walked over to him stealthily, stopping behind him without him even noticing my presence.

"Uh?" Suddenly, he noticed the dumplings I prepared piled on a plate on the stove. "Dumplings? Does the old man know how to cook something like that?"

When he moved to grab one of the cookies, I squinted my eyes and grabbed his wrist, startling him and causing him to stare at me with shock. Seeing him mention what I believed to be my uncle, I immediately realized that this man was my second cousin, Yasuo, since he didn't seem to be a recluse.

"Who the hell are you?" He shouted, and I just increased the grip on his wrist to make him fall to his knees.

"You know, cousin, stealing from your own father is not a legal action." I raised my hand in front of his face, a small smile appearing on my lips. "I'll have to teach him a lesson for that."

"W-Wait!"

*Slap! *
