"Virgin!" Ares called as Virgil arrived at the scene

They were at the border of their city, Sanctuary, and were intending to head north to try to see if any civilization existed to the North, namely New York or Washington to see if the rest of the US still existed

While Sanctuary had become a self governing city, they had lost all communication to the outside world. It wasn't certain whether it was that there was no one else that had survived, or that the many portals all around the world had emitted radiation or frequencies blocking all forms of human communication beyond the city boundaries

The border wall seemed to be keeping out what looked like zombies, both human and animal, and they covered the environment for as far as they could see

There was probably a portal somewhere to the north, but they weren't sure whether a zombie virus had invaded and transmitted to the humans there, or that actual zombies had invaded from the portal

Either way, their mission was to try to connect to another human city and close the portal if possible

For this expedition, Olympus was there, besides Ares who had called out to him and including Zeus, Hercules, Apollo, Artemis and many others, including Theia aka Rachel, who was in Hercules' arms with his hand moving around under her toga

After seeing Rachel at the Olympus headquarters, he tried to harden his heart to not miss her. 

He could see that she was already Hercules' woman, and he felt his heart sink as he saw her

Virgil wanted to hide away, and slip into anonymity but Ares had already called out to him loudly

"This is our new Dionysus!" Ares laughed

"No, not yet" Virgil said softly

"Well met!" a sudden voice said and Ares looked at the source of the voice

"Balder!" Ares called over and shook hands

It was the Asgard group, who walked together in a group, much like the Olympus team

Virgil looked and saw that besides the Asgard team, there were many other teams gathering, many of whom he hasn't seen before

After all, he had been hunting at lower level portals so far, and it was only because he had been invited by Ares, that he heard of this large joint mission!

"Hi Virgin" Rachel suddenly said

Virgil froze as she approached him

"Why did you leave so early? I... wanted to spend time with you" she said softly

Virgil remained silent, not knowing what to say and wondered why she wasn't with Hercules

"You... remind me of my boyf... ex-boyfriend, Virgil" she said 

"What happened to him?" Virgil asked, making his voice sound different

"He.. he left me. When I returned to my apartment, he was gone" Rachel said sadly

"Liar! You left me to fuck that big bastard" Virgil thought to himself

"I think we are starting soon. The leaders are starting the briefing" Virgil said, not wanting to talk to her anymore

The more she talked, the more angry he got, thinking of how she betrayed him, became Hercules' lover, and perhaps even sent Apollo to kill him

Indeed Zeus, Odin and several other powerful looking Hunters were on the platform and explaining the strategy

Virgil walked closer to listen to what they were saying. It was probably important

Suddenly, he felt someone come up from behind him and cupped his cock over his pants

He was shocked and turned to see Artemis smiling

"Why did you leave so early? I wanted you to stay the night with me" she smiled

"Yeah, right" Virgil thought to himself, remembering the last thing he saw was  her being sandwiched between two men

"Oh, we better get ready" Artemis said, giving him one final squeeze as Virgil noticed that everyone else was getting ready to charge the gates as soon as they opened

Guards stationed on top of the gates were getting ready to provide cover fire as zombies were literally banging and trying to climb the gates after sensing so many humans on this side

The gates would only open for a short time, and all the hunters were to rush out and venture as far as they could and find the portal

There was a reason why only the most powerful hunters were chosen

Suddenly, Virgil heard the guards on top of the gates started firing their turrets placed on top of the walls and ungodly screams of the zombies on the other side

"Ready! Go!" the soldier in charge yelled over a loudspeaker and the gates opened

The hunters charged, some yelling like madmen, others walking calmly but fast through the gates

Virgil started a brisk walk through the gates

He had left his "Prime" body in his motel room, and had all 13 clones kept in reserve, including Edora

The Hunters Guild did not know how to grade this mission, so all the teams like Olympus and Asgard brought their whole main squads to the mission

Virgil was a Level 13, but he didn't know how that stacked up with the other hunters who were ranked from S Classes to C Classes like Artemis

He killed a few zombies, but watched cautiously as the other hunters demonstrated their powers

Without Edora, Virgil could only use his physical fighting abilities, and used his cloning to "regenerate"

But he found that even normal zombies were a challenge because they were so strong, perhaps stronger than even him!

At the current moment, Virgil had trained using his many clones, to be at the physical limit a normal human can be

If not for his phenomenal fighting skills he had been honing, his body performed at the level of an Olympic level athlete

But human zombies' strength was like that of a human who broke their mental limit, like that of an insane person who did not care if they used their muscles beyond what they can take, even ripping their muscles! 

Because of that, they can practically move cars individually and rip of car doors

And the animal zombies were even worse!

The zombies acted like starved beasts, biting and ripping the hunters they can, overpowering and killing several of the weaker hunters

Hercules laughed while he ripped a zombie's head off with his bare hands

Hunters like Hercules had strength way beyond that of a typical zombie and had even killed the zombie elephant that most likely escaped from a zoo!

After many hours, Virgil noticed that the groups had started to separate and go their own way

Their mission was to search for the portal anyway, and somehow Ares had insisted Virgil followed the Olympians

Initially, Virgil had refused and wanted to go his own way, but he realized that he might struggle to survive on his own, even with his clones

Edora might survive, but the other clones might not

He didn't care about dying since his prime was hidden in Sanctuary, but he didn't care for dying as he felt every thing the clone felt, even in death

After all, he would experience and share the experience of dying with the rest of his clones!

So far, he hadn't had the opportunity to use his clones, as the Olympians and others had been around him, so he had to only use this body to fight

It wasn't the most efficient, and he had the limitation of using only his human might to fight

They had set up camp on a field of rubble, protected by ruined buildings all around them

The buildings could not be used as they had too many places where a zombie could appear from

"Can.. can I lean on your back?" Rachel suddenly asked as Virgil joined the rest of the Olympians around a campfire

Before he could respond, he felt her back lean against his

She was visibly tired, and Virgil was tired from fighting all day too

Normally, he wouldn't get tired like this and can hunt for days in lower level portals, even without his clones

But these zombies are so strong, especially the animals, and they had regenerative abilities, like he pretended to have

Suddenly from a distance, a great battle was suddenly being fought!

Zeus looked up and even from a distance, he could recognize who it was

"Odin... Thor and the Asgardians!" Hercules said as he stood up as well, seeing the flashes of lightning and blazing explosions of light and sound

"Should we go and help them?" Ares asked

"They are Asgardians. They are practically our equal in terms of martial strength. If they needed help they would call for help. But that is unlikely" Hercules said

Suddenly, they heard the sound of a loud horn blowing above the sounds of battle

It was Heimdall's horn, and indeed they were calling for help!

But just as the sound of the horn was being blown, it suddenly stopped, interrupted somehow by the battle

"Prepare for battle!" Hercules said as they all geared up all around Virgil, including Rachel who obeyed the Olympian orders

"We have an alliance with the Asgardians! We need to help them!" Ares said, explaining the reason for them getting ready to enter the battle

Just then, Virgil realized that the battle was suddenly approaching them, as ruined buildings crumbled and abandoned cars on the street were blown away

A body came flying over, covered in blood and missing an arm!

"Baldur!" Hercules said as he caught the flying body

"How can it be? Isn't Baldur nearly immortal?" Ares asked

"She's too strong. We must retreat!" Baldur said painfully in Hercules' arms

"Who is too strong? What's going on here?" Zeus asked

By now, the battle dropped right in the midst of the Olympians, recognizing Thor and Odin in magical battle with a female zombie!

"Who is that?" Virgil wondered

"That.. that's Freya! She's been missing for months!" Ares answered, watching in horror as she apparently was overpowering both Asgardians

"To battle!" Hercules said as the Olympians tried to gang up on the zombie

Virgil stood ready but watched as they helped Thor and Odin to battle this "Freya"

She must have been a powerful "God" too, but her strength and power was like comparing a human against a normal zombie

She had all her powers on top of being a zombie, and her speed and power didn't decrease at all!

While telepathically being linked, the Prime Virgil was in his motel room researching "Freya" on the internet

Apparently, she was a powerful hunter and had even battled Odin for the leadership of Asgard

In fact, she had practically won, but Thor ganged up with Odin and banished her from the guild

According to reports, she left Sanctuary to find pastures greened elsewhere

But not it was clear where she went. She had been turned into a zombie while searching for other cities to live in!

Being more powerful than ever, she was actually pushing back the Olympians and the Asgardians together!

Ares tried to engage in battle, but with quickness, she grabbed both his arm and ripped them off!

Ares screamed only for Freya to open her mouth and chomped down on his head, biting off the top of his head, including his brains!

"Ares!" Hercules screamed

But hearing his voice, Freya pounced on him and started beating him down with her fists

With a few rapidfire blows, Hercules' face was already turned into a mushy mess

"Hercules!" Rachel screamed in turn and rushed at Freya

"No!" Virgil cried, realizing that he still had feelings for her

He rushed in between the charging Rachel and Freya and blocked a blow intended for her with his body

Virgil felt his ribs collapse as Freya's arm smashed right through his body, exiting out from his back

Blood spurted from his mouth as his mask fell to the ground

"Virgil? No!" Rachel blurted, recognizing her ex-boyfriend who she believed had left her

Virgil turned his head to face her, but couldn't say anything except cough up more blood

By now, Hercules got up and grabbed Rachel, fleeing as fast as he could

The last thing Virgil saw was Rachel crying on Hercules' shoulder, trying to reach out to him

Then, the zombie Freya ripped out Virgil's spine with his skull still attached to it

Freya chomped into his skull, eating half of Virgil's face as well as all of his brains like she did with Ares

Suddenly, Freya vanished without a trace!
