“These are…”

“These are the best weapons made by the Beans Workshop, Kurt-sama.”

With a tinge of pride in his voice, Harold showcased his collection of weapons. I didn’t know much about weapons, but they sure looked cool as hell!

From a short sword, to a normal one. I even found a big broadsword which is bigger than myself!

‘It sure looks like Guts’s sword.’

That sword, it didn’t look like a sword anymore. It is just a sharpened lump of iron. The one want to use it must have extraordinary strength.

‘Should I try to lift it?’

Honestly, I feel that even with my reinforcement magic, I wouldn’t be able to lift it. That sword looks quite heavy to create a crater if dropped on ground.

But…

‘I want to swing it once!’

Without any hesitation, I moved to it and grabbed the handle with both of my hands. Harold and Grace watched me in astonishment as I attempt to lift the colossal sword.

“Kurt-sama, that sword is something you can’t…”

[Reinforcement – x3]

My hands swelled and veins started to pop out. Using reinforcement three times is my current limit. And I used it all. And under the shocked eyes of everyone…

“What are trying to say, Harold-san?”

… I lifted the sword.

“Wha?!”

Harold, Grace, and the random workers were all shocked beyond belief to see me lifting the colossal sword, which even the buffed demon hunters couldn't lift.

“It’s lighter than I thought.”

And I did what I wanted. I swinged it. I raised it and bought it down with all my strength. But…

‘Huh? It slipped!’

The sword slipped from my hand because of the huge momentum. And…

Boom!

And what left after the swing was the dust and the sword on the floor with a crater behind it.

“S-Sorry. It seems I destroyed the floor.”

And that one swing made me know that Guts’s sword might not be perfect for me, at least for now.

---

“Sorry, Kurt-sama. I couldn’t find a perfect weapon for you.”

“It’s alright. I got a weapon. And I should be apologizing for destroying your floor.”

I am embarrassed as hell. I wanted to look a bit cool, but who guess I would end up destroying someone’s floor!

‘It’s good I am a noble.’

At these times, I find myself fortunate enough to become a noble.

‘But still to think I couldn’t find a weapon.’

Even after that blunder, I went on browsing every weapon, especially swords to see if they are compatible. I tried all of them, and it’s not like they didn’t fit to me.

Instead, all of them felt alright to me!

Even the Guts’s sword felt comfortable in my hands until it fell down, but that’s a different story. And because of that, I couldn’t decide upon a single one. Finally, I chose the common sword, with whom I have been practicing in training hall.

‘Why did all the weapons feel alright in my hands? Is it because of my martial arts talent?’

I couldn’t help but feel that must be the cause of it. This talent of mine… It seems I might have underestimated it.

Soon after a few minutes, Harold came back with the ordered weapon packed in its sheath and handed it to me.

“Here it is.”

Swoosh!

I took it and found it be perfectly fitting in my hand. I swung it for a bit, and more carefully and then finding it to be alright, I sheathed it back and stored it in the dimensional storage.

“T-That… Kurt-sama, can you do magic?”

“Yeah. Haven’t you seen it before?”

“Yes. I haven’t this type of magic before.”

“Huh?”

I was genuinely surprised. Isn’t he selling weapons? Then he should have at least seen this dimensional storage magic several times.

“Grace, don’t the merchants use this magic?”

I couldn’t help but ask the Grace, my personal maid. She have been working for Ritzburg from her childhood, and being a foreigner to this world, I clear most of my doubts from her.

“Kurt-sama. The magicians of the calibre of using dimensional magic is very rare. Even I am surprised that you can use it.”

And that’s when I realized that her words might be true. Even the requirement to join the Ultimate Magic Research Society, the club made by the protagonist was Dimensional Storage Magic.

‘It seems this magic is quite hard to learn.’

And if one gets to know that I learned this magic to try ejecting swords like Gilgamesh from portals, instead of storing things, they might kill me!

‘Though I couldn’t succeed in the end.’

I was able to store the weapons inside but making them eject like a bullet is impossible. Dimensional Storage is like an additional bag. The things can only come out if I grab it and bring it out. Or else they don’t even move an inch.

‘And my magic power was lacking to do as well.’

I have to do something about it. Even though I said optimistic words to encourage myself at that time, I need to do something about my magic power inefficiency.

But still to think this magic is quite rare. Then… can’t I make money from it?

‘I have seen multiple anime having unlimited storage tools, and even in wuxia novels, they have rings with dimensional storage. If I can make a magic tool like that, then…’

First is that replaceable sword, and now the dimensional storage. I can feel the rich smell gold coming from it! I am going to be filthy rich!

---

Harold looked at Kurt’s glee face and his creepy laugh, he couldn’t help but ask Grace if Kurt is alright.

“What has happened to Kurt-sama?”

“It’s nothing. He makes that kind of faces from time to time.”

‘I am going to be filthy rich!’

With that, Kurt got a sword, an idea to become rich and a rumor of being a noble who makes strange faces and laughs from time to time.
