Announcement
To be honest I was convinced by some friends to upload another chapter today, and well, I thought it would be fun to do so. I promise though, this is the last one; after this it will truly be once a week (I think) On another note remember to leave some reviews and comments <3

As I opened my eyes for the very first time in my life I saw a beautiful and adorned room, as expected of someone who's family has ties not only to high nobility, but also to the criminal underworld.

After a while and without standing from my bed, I started to stare at the ceiling, beautifully decorated and with frescos and murals on the walls; but soon enough I heard a crash; I felt a bit sluggish in such a small body, Lilith's body is that of a young child, so it's like trying to wear a shoe six sizes under…

I felt how my powers were extremely limited, I simply felt weak, lethargic in a way, and I would have to undertake this whole ordeal for at least ten years…

My thoughts were interrupted however as a single maid entered the room, "My lady, Grand Duke Edeltraud is requesting your presence at the dining hall." She said in a monotone voice.

"Why?"

"I don't know my lady." She said with the same monotone voice as before, combined with a dead look in her eyes, I knew instantly that she didn't want to be here with me.

Either way it's not as if I care too much about her opinion, I'll just go to meet the duke, who's apparently the father of this body and hates me; boy am I in for something. I was quickly dressed by the maid and we started walking down the hallway, it looked as if it was endless, I walked for a whole twenty minutes before getting anywhere; back in my original body I could go from one corner of the universe to the other one in less than a second, so taking this long to go anywhere is making me feel even weaker, I hate it…

Now that I think about it, having parents is weird, I kind of am my own father and mother, I thought myself into existing, so having someone to call my parents is downright bizarre.

Either way, the walk continued and the silence was a bit uncomfortable to be honest, the maid was just slowly trudging along with heavy and tedious steps, it looked as if she was bored out of her mind; I had no doubts now at how much she hated me.

We kept on walking as I saw the maids and servants sneer and jeer as I walked by, it seemed Lilith's reputation was at rock bottom, she had absolutely no supporters in the household, not even her own personal maid, I honestly didn't understood how a child's reputation could be this bad, but fortunately this ended soon enough as we got in front of a large white door with beautiful carvings; the maid quickly opened the door and announced my name "Young lady Lilith Edeltraud is here, my Lord."

There I saw a man sitting down on a decorated throne with a sinister look on his blood red eyes, while smoking a big cigar and wearing a menacing grin on his face, I did not bow, I just stared at him, which apparently took him by surprise; he is Grand Duke Aleksei Edeltraud, my father or rather the father of this body. Next to him is a woman with dark silver hair and golden eyes; her look towards me was as cold as if she was made out of ice; her name is Lithia Edeltraud, the mother of Lilith.

Before anyone could even say a word, the duke waved his hand and the maid quickly left the room after doing a quick bow.

He quickly rose up and started speaking, "Lilith, you are finally here, we have been waiting for this day far too long, your younger brothers have already done the test and you have just been postponing the inevitable."

What was this test that he was speaking, even if I have seen this story millions of times I don't really know much of the world, if anything the worm I had the misfortune to watch continuously was incredibly sheltered and brainless, so I at least hope that this test won't involve too much information.

"Lilith, your test shall begin right now, you may not leave the room until you are done…" He said while intimidating, and then with a thunderous voice he shouted "Bring him in!".

It was but an instant when two men came with another one bound in chains, he looked injured, clear signs of torture; I looked back at my father who had an inquisitive look in his eyes, and then began speaking once more, "This individual right here seeked an apprenticeship under the Edeltraud Family, but unfortunately it was found out that he was a spy, although he keeps denying it, there is no doubt in my mind; so the test shall be the following… Extract a confession from him, I don't care for the method you use, you may bring in any kind of tool you want, but you must not leave this room until he confesses."

This looks like quite a harsh test for children so young, and especially just as I became a human, it was surprising; I expected some more time to settle in Lilith's life, but it feels as if I was thrown straight into it, which honestly, I have no complaints towards it though, it makes it a bit more interesting at least.

I looked upon the bloodied body of the person laying there in front of me, and I couldn't help but feel a slight tingling sensation on my body, I was feeling excited; I was not called the The Archon of Murder and Violent Death for no reason, I had always adored this emm… activities; so I couldn't help but show a small grin on my face as I said to the duke, "As you wish, father." Which immediately made both him and my mother react with a bit of surprise.

It seems as if Lilith had rejected to do this before, perhaps she never actually performed this so-called test, and that's what got her the scorn of her family, and honestly I'd believe it, at least in the story, Lilith was always a coward, and rather than acting with actual violence or strength, she went with petty and idiotic overcomplicated plots to midly inconvenience the worm; but I don't think she ever showed any kind of actual violent behavior in the story before.

Regardless, I turned towards the person who looked at me with a fearless look in his eyes, either he was well trained as a spy, or perhaps he had heard of the spineless Lilith who wouldn't dare injure a fly, a coward who depended on others to do her bidding, and wouldn't go far enough when needed.

Unfortunately for him however, Lilith was no longer here…

I quickly stepped in front of him, and started my test, "Don't worry, I just want to talk, tell me what is your name?" As I asked this I could hear my father sigh from the other side of the room, but I didn't pay any mind to it.

"My name is Will." The man said in a heavy and tired voice.

"Alright, now I want you to listen to me; I can't help you if you don't trust me, alright?" I could hear an even louder sigh, but this time from my mother, even when I didn't turn to look at her, I could feel her staring daggers at my back.

"Why would I even trust you? I won't tell you anything!" He said with a defiant look in his eyes.

"Oh I see… You want to do this the fun way, that's good, it would have been boring if you had simply talked, so thanks." This time I could feel a surge of interest from both of my parents as they looked at me with curious looks; I didn't really mind as I said to one of the guards, "Guard, bring me a spoon, some pliers, a hammer and a tooth… actually, bring several toothpicks."

The guard looked confused, but he quickly looked at my father as he waved his hand once more; the guard saluted and left the room, but just a few minutes later he returned with the tools I had asked for.

I turned to my father once again and asked him, "I won't have to clean this up, will I?"

He quickly replied, "You don't have to worry about that, we will take care of that part."

"Alright then, let's have some fun then Will." I said as I turned to look at him, holding the pliers and a toothpick in my hand…
