Teitei was already left the ancient shop, when a beautiful woman descended the stair from the second floor of the Hundred weapon shop.

Most of the people on the first floor looked at her curiously for a short moment before moving their gaze away.

It was not just because she was a beauty. The visitor of Hundred weapons shop were rarely newcomers in this settlement.

It was a common fact that the second floor was only reserved for the VIP. And these VIPs were either people of great statues or great strength.

No one wanted to offend them. Even tough, there were some order in the settlements and they could not outrightly kill you, they could make your life difficult, and no one will know what would happen  once ennemies met in the wildness.

At this moment, the person who was suffering the most was the receptionist. While he was leading the way for the woman he was terrified as he knew more about her identity.

She was the Owner of the Hundred weapon shop. She was a mysterious woman, but she was somewhat famous among the knowledgeable people in the settlements.

Some years ago, when the settlement had just been build, the weapons market was a huge piece of meat with many hungry opponent vying for it.

At that time the Hundred weapon shop was one of the many new shops in the settlement. It all changed when three concurrent shops joined together in an alliance against the Hundred weapon shop.

Despite their joined effort, they did not manage to make the Hundred weapon shop collapse.

Facing this situation they finally decided to recruit assassin's in other to kill the boss of the Hundred weapons shop. She was still a young girl who had just entered the ancient world for less than three years. They were certain of their success after recruiting some powerful assassin's.

Unluckily for them, the assassination failed. It was said that the girl hanged one of her employee who had set her up at the entrance of the Hundred weapons shop.

During the days that followed, there was a wave of massacre in the settlement as all of the people somewhat involved in her assassination were elimated and transformed into cold corpses.

It became evident that there was a powerful force behind her, and most of her concurrents were so scared that they closed their shop, making the Hundred weapon's shop the number 1 weapon's shop in the settlement.

The receptionist was trying his best to ignore all the scary thoughts that were going through his mind while he was showing the way to the woman.

He had only, met the woman twice in the past and both day were the most scary days of his life.

The woman looked calm, cold and emotionless as they walked. He felt uncomfortable, being with her.

After some time they finally arrived in front of a display case.

" It is here!" The man said before looking toward the woman. At that moment she was frowning.

The man looked once again at the display case and it was empty. At this moment he was shocked. He was quite familiar with the layout of the different weapons when it come to the first floor. Today, the last time he checked, the thing was still there.

" Madam, please wait of a moment, I am going to check the situation. I will do it quickly!" The man said with a trembling voice he was almost begging.

Be it losing his job, some limbs or losing his live, none were interesting alternatives.

When he saw the woman nodding, he suddenly felt as if a huge weight had been lifted of his shoulder.

He quickly went away, afraid to annoy the woman more.

At this moment, the woman was looking at the display case, she was not calm anymore as a trace of nostalgia finally appeared in her eyes.

The display case was empty, but she could still see every detail of the weapon that had once been inside.

She was familiar with its weight, the length of it's blade, it's sharpness.

A minute later, the receptionist finally arrived. He was trying to hide his anxiety. He finally explained to the woman that an hour ago someone had come and brought the weapon.

" We can still find the buyer and offer and appropriate price to take it back" the receptionist said only to be interested by the woman.

" No perhaps it is destiny" she said in a low voice.

She looked at the name of the weapon that was still written.

Devil mantis Dagger

She finally looked away from the empty display case.

She still remembered the day when she finished making that weapon. She had inscribed her name somewhere on the face of the blade.

*****

At this moment, Teitei was already in his 'house'. He had seen the name ' Simmons' written somewhere on the blade of his Dagger. But after deducting that it could have been the name of the Craftsman, he did not dwell too much on that fact.

At this moment, he was preoccupied by something else.

He had just found that his biochip could "deduce" an 'ancient technics'.

It was apparently, a Dagger skill. But the biochip was not creating the skill out of nowhere.

It was using the template of one of the previous host. It was an ancient beast of the mantis species. The biochip was going to compare the old template with his human's own and 'deduce' an ancient technics' specially tailored for him.

It mean that he could achieve twice the result with half the success as he did not have to fumble his way to find and a combat technic.

After acquiring a good weapon, a fighting skill was what Teitei needed the most. If he have had a fighting technic, he would not have been so miserable after his fight with the ancient rabbit.

' But 50 hunger points is too much" Teitei thought as he lamented.

He did Not have enough hunger points at the moment but according to his estimation, since he had obtained five hunger points from the rabbit meat, he needed ten similar piece of meat in order to achieve that.

Teitei hoped to achieve that result soon.
