The day passed and Lumi after a bit of rest was able to get back to the mansion and to her commission as a royal guard.
"Now let's shift our focus back at the main objective of this travel. We need to look for anyone who has a link with the organization. And as 2 high-gold rank adventurers we can easily gather info. Well.. that's what Boryana said anyways"-said Yuuji looking at Amilia who was listening closely
"Should we let Kazuma know about the main objective?"-asked Amilia while tilting her head to the right
"Not yet. Unless we find trouble we won't tell him"-replied Yuuji while shaking his head in refusal
"So how will we go about this ?"-asked Amilia again
"Let's go to the guild first"
After this small talk, Amilia and Yuuji headed to the Adventurer's guild to look for anything suspicious or odd. Taking the smart approach Yuuji started asking people if they saw a person with a dark crystal with them. Unfortunately for him no one saw it.
"ughhhhhh"-said Yuuji with a look of tiredness on him while laying his head on a table
"Yuuji, Are you ok?"-said Amilia looking concerned
"No. We've been looking around for any clues for 2 hours to no avail"-replied Yuuji lifting his head up angrily
"Just don't give up yet!"-said Amilia trying to lift Yuuji's spirit
"oya ? isn't this the famous Yuuji Wakana from the adventurer's guild ?"-a strange person walking up to them.
That person had ginger hair, Blue eyes, A cheesy smile to him, Carrying a bow and about 178 centimetres tall, But the most important detail was that he had a dark crystal in his side bag.
"You-"-said Yuuji
"Don't go too hasty, Boy. I know a thing or two about your abilities so don't try to surprise me. Good grief.. you really do think like a child don't ya"-said the strange man
"Let me introduce myself, Boy. My name is Allen von Einzberg, but call me Allen only i really hate long names."-continued
As Allen finished talking, Yuuji jumped up and pulled out his sword for a fight with an angry look on his face.
"Oya ,Boy. Didn't i tell you not to be hasty ? to be honest i didn't come here to fight. I'm just here because my boss wants a certain piece of old crap from this kingdom. Good grief, He doesn't do crap and just sends us out to do his bidding"-said Allen looking like he was complaining
"And you think we will let you do such thing ?"-replied Yuuji still in the ready mode
"Not a bit. Well my option is to fight i guess but i wouldn't do it in such a place. There can be kids who get hurt from our fight after all"-said Allen with a cheesy smile making Yuuji look around the place that has a lot of people
"Well then, Yu-Yu. I'll be waiting at the forest come fight me whenever you want. That is if you are strong enough to even challenge me"-continued Allen with an evil grin on his face
After this encounter Yuuji looks at Amilia who looks both horrified and worried
"Yuuji, You won't go after him right ?"-said Amilia with a concerned look
"I'll go of course i need to serve my purpose"replied Yuuji
"No no Yuuji you don't understand he's out of your league. He's extremely strong. He has a normal crystal and a dark one!"-said Amilia shaking Yuuji from his shoulders
"Even if i will protect this kingdom like i promised"-replied Yuuji moving Amilia's hands off his shoulders
"Let's get back and get ready for this the sooner we do it the sooner i get back home to my grandma"-said Yuuji who put back his sword and started moving
"Alright.."-replied Amilia looking down and worried about Yuuji and how he's pushing himself
