"A Glove? How is this going to help me?! HELLO?"

As I yelled at the top of my lung, cursing the weird being that gave me a glove to protect me.

One of the guards stepped forward and slashed at me with the Dao. I retreated to the side and slip through him causing him to be facing my back.

As I put on the gloves on my hands, be it my imagination, I could feel that my wounds from the kick earlier were healing. I noticed the gloves were in a way, weirdly designed.

The gloves themselves were fingerless gloves. it was short-sleeved meaning that it was only able to cover up to 3/4 of my palm. The backhand side of the glove was imbued with metal for protection i guess. And for a glove that has metal on it, it was surprisingly light.

I put on the gloves, widening my eye and grinning. Surprised and happy that the gloves were just perfect for me,

With now 3 people facing in front of me and 1 on my back. I raised my arms and readied myself in a fighting stance.

[The Leader Guard's POV]

A strange masked individual came to our notice when one of the watchmen saw someone that didn't seem to belong in this realm.

The spirit realm consisted of lots of spirits that came from Middle-earth. Of course, it does have its own inhabitant that is born and raised here. However, all inhabitants of the spirit realm emit a sort of aura that indicate that they have the right to enter.

That is how the spirit realm was, all rules of the spirit realm are absolute. Every spirit is given its own individual roles, especially us, the immortals of the spirit realm.

Law and Order are to be upheld at all times, especially for one like myself as a head guard of the Kunlun Sect. I must uphold my duties to my sect master.

Thus upon receiving the information that a strange individual came to the town area of KunLun, I personally mounted on and make my way to the outsider.

Upon arriving, it was clear that the outsider did not belong there. All spirits, no matter how unrecognizable that which part of the world came from. All inhabitants do possess an aura. If the subject had an aura that was too big that may overlay our own aura, we could at least feel it due to the training we have.

However, the outsider did not have any.

Not a single shred of aura can be seen or felt.

And the outsider was wearing a mask.

A mask that I have never seen before even after thousand years of interaction with spirits from every different culture and continent. However one thing is certain, the beast on that mask, smirked at me.

This confirms it. The outsider doesn't belong here. That mask is dangerous. Very dangerous.

After communication with the outside failed. I instructed my man to arrest the outsider.

However, seeing that one of my men easily kick the outsider with no effort. I let my guard down for a little.

That was a huge mistake right there.

[Red's POV]

Before going for conscription, I was a normal student who really enjoyed martial art. Upon going to college, I signed up for different martial to try them all out since I always had an interest in them.

The one martial art/sport that I actually continue to stick with throughout my years in college was Sanda.

Sanda AKA Chinese Kickboxing was a kickboxing sport that relied on Punching and Kicking your opponent as well as being able to tackle your opponent using takedowns from there.

Well in order to train better with kickboxing, I went to learn the basics of Muay Thai, Boxing and Judo as an extra interest.

However due to me being young and stupid, not knowing my own limits. I crashed.

Turns out my knee got screwed in one of the practices. I was never able to really use my leg as often as before.

I stopped doing Sanda over the years.

As I stopped doing kicks, my arms never stopped. I picked up Boxing again.

And days and days I worked on it.

Never getting an opportunity to use it.

Until now.

While facing 3 people in front and 1 behind. I kept my hands up to guard.

And off I go.

As I observed my opponent, a Dao came flying to the left side of my body.

Weaving to left, I clenched my fist and swing a left hook.

"Boom."

One thunderous boom can be heard. However one was all It needed.

The guard was wearing traditional Chinese heavy armour that would have weighed at least 30 KG.

That armour now has a fist impacted on it.

"4 more to go"

Before managing to catch a breath, the two guards dashed toward me and all swung their swords in unison.

I ducked below one of the guard's dao and threw one overhand cross at the guard's face.

While he got staggered by that, I threw 3 hits.

[Jab]

[Cross]

[Left Body]

Before landing the 4th hit, another dao was swinging toward me.

"AAAAAA. DIE"

Hearing that, I retreated to a further distance but got grazed by another dao behind me.

In order not to be stabbed by the dao from the back. The moment the Dao touched me, I turned my entire body in a flow motion and return the guard with a [Right Hook]

"Crack."

That hit caused a whiplash to the guard's head and might have broken his nose.

Before the last guard tried rushing with his weapon. The guard in the horse mount stopped him with his Guandao. He jumped off his horse and stared at me.

He raised his hands and took a bow, before taking a stance with his Guandao.

I raised my fist and greeted him in the same manner.

From there I raised my hands, and stand by ready.
