As the queen raised her hand for the final blow, every fibre muscle in her hands twitched. Goosebumps were formed throughout her entire body, something she had not felt for centuries.

Immediately, she backstepped from where she stood, invoking what seemed to be thousands of magic circles as the queen poured every ounce of mana she had into her spells and launched it towards the boy who seemed half-dead.

Then the queen came to her senses upon watching the large amount of destruction she committed.

"Huff..Huff.."

W...why did I do that? Was I intimidated by him?

The vampire queen exhaled calmly as she found her composure and waited for the smoke caused by her to clear.

FWISH

In a split second, something flew out from the smoke, clearing it instantly with the smoke seemingly sustaining a bullet hole within it.

Flying straight for the Queen's eyes was something sharp and ... cold.

With a wave of her hand, she lifted a wall of blood, blocking whatever was approaching her in that split second.

However, upon coming in contact with the blood wall, the entire stream of blood froze immediately as though the ice age had come and gone at that moment. With the blood still within her reach, the queen immediately released the blood she was controlling as the ice managed to freeze up everything in its way up til the very last drop of blood the queen was controlling.

She used her eyes to have a glance at what was used to attack her. An image of a stick stuck to the wall was all she could see.

Upon a closer look, it wasn't a stick but a spear, wrapped with red cloth, stuck on the block of ice.

Footsteps began echoing through the ruined library as the once nearly dead human began walking once again, this time with a sudden change of demeanour.

The biggest change of them all was ultimately the once pure white mask changed to that of a black murky one. The horns attached to the mask were gone but there were a total of 6 extra accessories attached to the mask that seemingly imitated an ear.

The human raised his right hand with his palm facing upwards, as though he was recalling something. And sure enough, something did happen.

A white staff magically appeared out of the human's hand as he grabbed it tightly and swung the staff around.

Although not a single word emerged from the human's mouth, his action was enough for the queen to know how he was feeling at the moment.

FWOSHH

The human swung the staff once, shutting every sound in the room up, leaving only the echoes of his weapon ringing. From there, he proceeded to spin his weapon as the speed of rotation was cranked up to the maximum within seconds. It was enough to generate wind to cool down the already humid library.

But the human was still not satisfied as started throwing the staff and catching it again while shaking his head in annoyance, ignoring the queen completely.

Although the behaviour of the human was strange, the queen was irritated by the very presence of the cockroach in front of her. Enraged, she bee-lined straight for the human, her claws and fangs armed, as she dived right in, slashing the human, only for the human to redirect her arms by tripping her with his foot, causing her to miss her first try. 

But the vampire queen was not done. 

Following up from her previous attack, this time with the blood from her arms materializing into sharp blades, she raised her arm frantically as valleys of blade emerged from the ground aiming at the human.

Even that was not enough to faze the human as he calmly avoided the thousand blades emerging from the ground using the staff as a platform to stand. As soon as the blood retracted, the human jumped upwards, grabbing the end of the pole, he slammed it straight for the queen with no hesitation. The queen raised her hand creating a blood dome surrounding her as a shield.

The staff strikes causing the dome to crack immediately but that is not the end for the human as he proceeds to jump behind where he landed his staff grabbing both ends of the staff, he pulls it apart, extending it.

The staff extended to a 3 part staff as the human started spinning one end of the staff rapidly while striking the dome with the other hand.

The cracks around the dome started becoming more obvious while the sound of the dome being crushed rapidly under the repeated strike of the staff was getting louder and louder.

"Impossible, this dome is supposed to be impenetrable?! H-How did yo___"

Although the skill does play a part in succeeding having the required power to strike the impenetrable dome. Unbeknownst to both Red and the queen, Red's strength at this point had already surpassed what a vampire noble is capable of.

He managed to successfully unlock the raw power that laid the domain. However, whether that strength being unlocked was thanks to Ryong or the fact that he was possessed by the shadow was not clear.

As he swung the 3-sector staff for the last time, the dome finally shattered instantly as the queen fell to the ground due to the impact reflected from her blood shield.

But without even a chance to regain her posture, Red, or more accurately, the shadow, was already behind her as he wrapped the chains of the staff around the queen's neck and threw her forward, smashing her right in the rows of bookshelves and straight at the wall.

Red continued walking forward where the queen lay as the smoke cleared out leaving nothing in sight.

"HISS!!"

Emerging from his back, the queen revealed her fangs as she sank in straight towards Red's neck, hoping to kill the human instantly, only for it to sink between something hard. It was the staff.

The queen however was not done as she snapped her finger, summoning 2 lightning bolts to strike where he stood. Only for it to dissipate as Red's hand revealed a bright blue circle spell in his palm.

It was [Magic Shield]

Red swung his staff, wrapping the chains around the queen's neck once again as he yanked it down, dragging the queen right to his knee, and smashing her face in.

The queen groggy from the impact, stood still as her blood started pouring down. Her vision blurred, and her sense of hearing and smell or distorted. She was in a complete mess.

Red stood calmly as he hung his staff on his neck and he grabbed the book the queen was desperately trying to protect. With a sudden jerk, he slams the entire weight of the staff striking exactly where the Queen's chin was, instantly giving her neck a whiplash as she drops on the ground immediately upon being hit. Stepping forward to the unconscious queen. Red/the shadow walked forward, holding the staff high up and ending the fight once and for all, only for him to stop once again.

Red's mask was currently in an amalgamation of 2 different colours as the white strips formed from normal, spreading across the black mask.

Inside Red's subconscious, was Ryong grabbing onto something in the TV. 

[I finally caught you now.]

With one shout, he pulls the shadow figure out of the TV, Ryong immediately starts swinging at the figure the moment he is completely out of the TV. 

However, nothing landed as the shadow figure laughed maniacally, fading into darkness.

Red's mask in real-time returned to white colour as he dropped the book he was holding. 

Along with the book, something else broke. 

With that, something began unlocking somewhere in the library.
