<Daily Life of the Academy: Zveda Restaurant>

At Zveda Restaurant, a restaurant aimed at the elite. It takes a long time to tidy up the clothes one wears before leaving.

A receptionist, dressed in a neat white uniform, came over and was curious about the shirt I was wearing. It felt like dealing with an elite.

“Can I help you, Ser?”

“I’d like to meet Cherry Spyxtria at table number 7.”

“Please show me your ID!”

I took out my identity card with both hands and gave it to the maid. She accepted it and examined the card for a moment.

The Roshan Kingdom’s identity card is obtained after turning 16 years old. Normally, this card is used to grant permission in certain situations. For example, driving an industrial vehicle, marrying a spouse, working in the city, pursuing a career in the arts, and so on.

Unlike the students of Spyxtria Academy, they got their identity cards earlier with the emblem of the Spyxtria Clan, so we enjoyed a slight advantage and being able to enter an elite restaurant was enough.

“Here is the card. Your identity is accepted. You may go inside now.”

“Okay. Thank you for your cooperation.”

I left the receptionist and hurried inside. His sweet smile and wave of the hand calmed the atmosphere. As a result, he was a good receptionist.

Inside the restaurant, there are 2-3 storeys with many windows and 2 entrances. The room is decorated with artworks that are only for display and beauty, while the rest are

Paintings were beautiful to look at and soothing, and the sunlight shone into the room so there was no need to light lamps.

When I saw Table 7, a woman’s soft voice and a call accompanied by seduction. The purple outfit looked beautiful and elegant, supporting the atmosphere of a high-class restaurant.

OK, I’ll try to rewrite this fiction novel in British English for you. Here is my attempt:

“Rivandy! Come here!” The call was directed at me.

“…”

Without thinking, I made my way to table 7, which had been booked by the headteacher. He glanced over while imagining having a nice family.

“Sorry, I’m late.”

“That’s all right. I’ve just booked this table. So, you don’t have to worry about being late.” Both her hands touched the table as she returned my words in a forgiving manner.

The woman invited me to sit opposite her. Both of our eyes met. However, I still hadn’t started this conversation.

Shortly after, a waitress came up to us holding a restaurant menu and a biro. She kindly greeted the customers while asking for the orders that the restaurant guests wanted.

“Please.” She handed us the menu and waited before taking down the order.

We looked at the menu, perusing for a moment the high-quality dishes accompanied by sumptuous seasonings. However, the portion was small enough to maintain the quality of the dish itself.

It was the Hausseka Dish, a high-quality dish consisting of meat and vegetables in small portions.

“What would Sir and Madam like?”

A few moments later, my eyes fell on the eye-catching dish and I immediately replied to the waiter. “I’d like the Second Hausseka Dish with Dailante Coffee.”

“I’ve noted it down. Your order will arrive in 30 minutes. Please wait a moment!”

The waitress left us with neat footsteps and hurried to the kitchen to serve another table.

I couldn’t speak to the woman who was already considered my sister. She wore a beautiful and charming dress with mature red lips. She took away my confidence.

“What’s wrong with you? You’ve been quiet lately.” Cherry started the conversation because I couldn’t initiate.

“It’s okay. I…”

“No need to be shy! You’re not used to this atmosphere.”

“There was no other choice. You invited me to this place instead. I should tidy up my shirt before I go.”

I became a teenage girl instead, shy and insecure. Every time I faced Cherry, my thoughts were uncontrollable.

“Cie. My sister is like a girl.” Her flirting and teasing couldn’t be contained.

“Don’t be like that! I’m not a kid anymore.” My face and cheeks turned red, unable to regain my composure in front of that woman.

“But, you’re just like a girl.”

“Never mind. It’s my first time at this posh restaurant. I’ve never tasted it before.”

The sound of laughter could be heard up to 3 tables at once. However, they ignored the laughter and focused on the dishes on the table.

“Just relax. I’m not asking you formally.”

“Oo. I see. Then, this meeting is considered a first-time invitation.”

“Think of it as your first date. You’ll get used to the next day’s date.”

“You’re right. It’s already time to discuss something.” Despite trying to adapt, my cold sweat soaked through my shirt, not wanting to disappoint Cherry.

Moments later, a smartly dressed waiter arrived with a delicious meal. Our small talk was interrupted by the waiter.

“One Hausseka Second and Third Course with Cherry Tea and Dailante Coffee.”

“Yes. That’s what we ordered.” Cherry assured the waiter, checking the dishes that were delivered.

The waiter placed an order on the table. I tidied up the dishes ordered and looked at him unfamiliarly.

After putting down the dishes, the waiter resigned and left, leaving us to serve the orders at the other tables.

Only the two of us were left, left in silence with a freshly served meal. There are small dishes that can be eaten slowly, not greedily like a wild animal.

That’s the way to enjoy a posh meal.

Both my hands began to hold the fork and knife, cutting the small dish into chunks, then eating slowly. Savouring food is necessary too.

“How is it? Is it good?” Cherry did the same.

“It tastes expensive. Maybe I should try making this dish.”

Due to the flat response, Cherry took the initiative to switch to a more serious topic. “So, do you think of me as a lover or an older sister?”

“Oh no! That question again.” That question forced me to think twice, stopping the enjoyment of the high-class dishes just because of the thought.

“If I think of her as a lover, I’m not ready. If it’s a female Kalak, that’s fine. But…”

I couldn’t think. Cherry’s face was full of question marks, waiting for an answer from me. However, …

“Ja-Just be a big sister. It’s okay.” The response made Cherry pause, saying the word easily.

She replied with a smile, without any particular intention. “I’m happy with that answer. From now on,… Call me Cherry-neesan. Okay?” Gave me a ring gesture.

“Yes, Neesan. I accept.” I lowered my face and focused on the sumptuous meal.

“Ara-Ara. You’re just like that, Rivandy.”

After finishing our grub and drinks, we left the table with dirty plates and glasses.

We hold hands together. Wherever we go, we are always together. Sometimes other people thought we were a good pair, despite our age gap.

It feels like dealing with girls is more cringey than being punished in the classroom corridor.

After Cherry paid the restaurant bill, we walked out of the restaurant hand in hand. Our eyes were fixed on each other, enjoying a weekend of walking and touring Roshan Capital.

“Cheery-Neesan. I’m a bit better again.”

“That’s all right. Today is a holiday. I don’t want to work today.”

“Smile! I don’t want you to be sad anymore.” My older sister teased me, touching my cheek casually.

"Neesan! Don't be like that! It hurts!"

"Then, if I can make you smile, you should marry me."

The joke was quite dodgy. At least, my relationship with my sister was going smoothly and developing slowly.

I looked at her face expectantly. There was something I had wanted to tell her for a long time. Something that had been nagging at my heart ever since I decided to enter the academy.

Maybe, this is the time. Maybe, she will understand.

“Neesan.” My voice trembled slightly. I gathered my courage. “Can I ask you something?”

She turned to me with a warm smile. “Of course. What is it?”

“If… if one day I managed to become a tough and strong person, would you still accept me?” I looked down, afraid to see her expression.

She was silent for a moment. Then, he opened his arms and pulled me into her embrace.

I was surprised. I felt her calm heartbeat and the warmth of her body enveloping me.

“You fool.” She whispered in my ear. “Of course I will accept you. You are my dearest brother. I’m chuffed with you.”

“Besides, I also have many plans for the two of us. I want to take you to lovely places you’ve never seen before.” She kissed my fragrant hair.

I smiled. I felt safe and cosy in his arms. I remember this feeling, even if it’s hazy. I want to feel it forever.

“Come on, let’s go, Rivandy!”

I nodded and took her gentle hand. My hand wouldn’t let go and walked in the same direction romantically.
