After crying his heart out, Xuan Cheng fainted again and Li Songbai was fortunately quite quick to catch him before he fell to the ground. Although Li Songbai was confused as to why this unruly shidi of his suddenly came to him to cry, when Xuan Cheng suddenly lost consciousness again, Li Songbai immediately panicked. So, with Xuan Cheng in his arms, Li Songbai used his fastest qinggong1轻功, is a qigong / martial arts technique for making the body extremely light in weight, by altering the distribution and flow of qi. to get to the medicine hall which was at the foot of the mountain. It took him less than a minute to get there.

He walked in without caring about the disciples eyeing him. Li Songbai was about to barge into the room of the elder who was managing the medicine hall when he encountered someone he didn't expect to meet in such a place. When that person saw Li Songbai carrying the unconscious Xuan Cheng, he immediately came over with a hurried pace. He frowned as his gaze landed on Xuan Cheng's abnormally flushed face.

"What happened to Xiao Cheng this time?"

He frowned, even more, when he touched Xuan Cheng's forehead. It was burning hot. Li Songbai curtly bowed his head for greeting then raised his head, his face revealing obvious worry on his face.

"Shizun, he--"

Instead of listening to him, the sect leader cut him off by pushing him inside the room.

"What are you waiting for? Go in quick."

Li Songbai could only nod and quickly entered the room of the elder. The two of them entered together and saw a white-haired old man tending to patients inside. Though old, the white-haired man was quite energetic at his age, treating patients here and there. As he wasn't paying attention to who entered, he just casually greeted, "What can I hel--"

However, when he saw who the visitors were, his words got stuck in his throat and he began to tremble all over.

"It's you guys again?!"

Not caring about whether the other patients woke up by the sound, the elder walked towards Li Songbai while stomping on the ground. Meanwhile, the sect leader was more than ready to be scolded and already started to appease the angry, irritated and hungry bull in from of him, "Ai, shixiong no need to be mad... My other disciple is--"

"Not you, idiot!"

The sect leader, Yun Chunfei sealed his mouth and sulked silently in the corner of the room. The elder though didn't care one bit about it.

"What did he do this time? It's been only a few days after he got that internal wound from the fight against our neighbor's disciple and he's now unconscious again?" the elder clicked his tongue and went to check on Xuan Cheng's condition with his eyes. Then he made a conclusion, "Lay him on the kang."

Li Songbai did as instructed and laid Xuan Cheng on the two-meter-long bed. The elder took Xuan Cheng's hand and began to examine his pulse. As time went by, the elder's face became more and more complicated, making Li Songbai even more concerned.

"Hmm... He definitely had the sign of qi deviation..."

Yun Chunfei and Li Songbai's eyes were blown wide open.

"What?!"

"S-shibo2师伯, martial (older) uncle, is that really true?!"

"I'm not done yet, you brats!" yelled the elder with annoyance. Then he rubbed the bridge of his nose, still frowning.

"He is safe, for now. "

Hearing it, the other two sighed in relief at the same time.

"His qi is stable but he definitely had experienced qi deviation a while back. It's definitely weird but he's fine. You two don't need to worry about it."

Even after the Elder told them that Xuan Cheng wasn't in danger, Li Songbai wasn't convinced yet.

"Then, why is he unconscious?"

"You've known me since you're in your diapers yet  you don't trust me?"

Li Songbai immediately refuted, "It's really not like that, shibo!"

"Yeah, yeah sure, whatever you say... Anyway, he's now unconscious because he was too stressed. I don't know what he's so stressed about though."

"Ah," Li Songbai quietly exclaim. Xuan Cheng wailed in his arms earlier that day. Why, even he, the person closest to Xuan Cheng didn't know.

Yun Chunfei, who noticed about his disciple's complicated mood, went over and placed his hand on Li Songbai's shoulder, "Song-er, what's wrong?"

Li Songbai flinched and hesitated a bit before finally speaking what he had in mind.

"When shidi woke up this morning, the first thing he did was... to find me and... cry," he mumbled the last part, almost not audible, if the person he's speaking to is an ordinary person anyway. Yun Chunfei was completely speechless. Even the elder almost choked on his own saliva, hearing what Li Songbai said. Then he poked on the poor Xuan Cheng's flushed cheek and raised his eyebrows while looking at Li Songbai, "This? The guy who wouldn't even cry as a baby?"

Li Songbai didn't answer as he saw the elder kept poking his junior brother's cheeks until he grunted in his sleep. Looking at his junior brother's uncomfortable face, Li Songbai couldn't help but frown.

"Yes, he cried, " Li Songbai finally answered, ending his shidi's cheeks torture.

Glancing at Yun Chunfei behind him, the elder then made a shooing gesture to Li Songbai, "Now that we've made sure he's alright, get him out of here. Can't you see he's disturbing the other patients?"

'But you're the one who's disturbing the patients!' -is what the other patients who already woke up wanted to say but didn't have the balls to. After all, even if the elder's cheeky, his skills are the real deal.

"Anyway, we still don't know what the cause of the qi deviation so we should stay alert," the elder warned and Li Songbai nodded before carrying Xuan Cheng in his arms once more. Just like that, the two disciples, the shixiong- shidi pair disappeared from the treatment room.

Yun Chunfei then chimed in, completely amused, "Maybe the sun is going to rise form the west tomorrow."

Without any warning, Yun Chunfei was dragged away, leaving all the patients alone in the room. Once they had gotten quite far from the treatment room, the elder glared at Yun Chunfei. Even though the elder was shorter than Yun Chenfei, the sect leader couldn't help but feel small in front of him.

"So, what's with you?"

"Hm? What do you mean, shixiong?"

"Don't 'what do you mean' me, you brat."

The elder sighed heavily before looking at Yun Chunfei again.

"Is it 'that' again?"

Yun Chunfei only smiled slightly.

"As expected of shixiong, you guessed it right away."

"What do you mean 'guess it right away'? It's quite obvious. If you wanted to lie, do better!" the elder scolded, which resulted the sect leader to laugh heartily. However, the elder wasn't in the mood for jokes right now.

"Give me your wrist."

"No."

"What?"

"I said, don't, Yun Zhong."

Yun Zhong froze when he heard his full name being called with such firm tone. Seeing the sect leader's serious face, Yun Zhong could only sigh in defeat.

'Aih, what stubborn fellow my shidi is...'

"Alright, alright, I'll give you more of the previous dose so..."

'Stop being so stubborn and try to depend on others once in a while, won't you?' Yun Zhong couldn't help but lament at the fact. He only hoped that this result of his shidi's stubbornness wouldn't end in tragedy.

Yun Chunfei cupped his hands together and smiled, "This shidi thanks shixiong for his kindness."

'Don't thank me,' Yun Zhong clenched his fist, 'What am I if I can't be the one you go to when you're at your lowest? I'm just an incompetent nobody who doesn't deserve your thanks.'
