The city of Maximus, the city of health and wealth. Cliché as it may sound, the words speak bolder in reality than it states, from the high towering Mirakle corporate buildings in the middle zone to its peaceful household at its edges. Every citizen walking by the streets showed vigor and a wide neet smile, with its silver guards roaming around with the likes of the normal populace. It was a trace of peace, of harmony that no other city or country could match.

Why you may ask, one simple answer to the hugely complicated question. That terrified every politician, every leader, and every noble to their core.

[ ....."zero tax."….. "I have to pay absolute to no tax, living on my own salary."….. "I can start my business, with no repercussions."….. "I can buy any gold, jewelry, or neon cars with a single fucking card."...…]

Yup, Maximus city or any other city and town under Mirakle house, needed no tax to be paid as proclaimed. Those were the true words of every person you ask on the streets, from the working class, and middle class to the highly rich ones.

How? how is a fiefdom such as this, is still running no less even thriving to this degree?

"potions…varieties of simple colored potions, which reined wealth, unsurmountable amount of wealth to House Mirakle. Wealth, It's a good factor to possess. It is even said that House Mirakle has succeeded and surpassed even the royals, as one of the princesses once proclaimed the goal of their royal family was to turn the world into its golden era, allowing zero tax upon all of its people." Said the driver, leading all the tourists sitting comfy at its back.

It was a hovering bus for tourists, showcasing the 100 ft square tv on the side, latched on to two towering empiric buildings, one of many wonders of Maximus city. The people couldn't help but see in awe at the architectural structure, handling such a grand screen, situated so that it could be seen from any part of the city, as it was a total of four screens, each corner bearing a towering structure of its own.

"It was a wonderful goal, but a far-reached one for the royals, maybe the princess was hyping for her eventual rule, maybe it was just a farce to get some attention, or maybe a dream she never intended to realize, oh my, forget about what I said, otherwise, I might get my tongue halved….hahaha." joked the bald guide, hiding his mouth behind his red light flag.

Everyone couldn't help but smile and laugh as well, listening to their guide, daring to have his way with his mouth, it was a lapsing refreshment for them indeed, as it was rare to hear such bold jokes anywhere except Maximus.

"it is true, wealth is what brings a harmonious economy to one's fiefdom." interrupted a blond hair woman, her voice so brash that it instantly garnered the attention of everyone. "but in reality, wealth is what provides people power, and power has a tendency to attract something different, something that you call contrary to your so-called harmony. so I hope you don't hide such 'harmonious' sites, sir."

Ending with a contemplative opinion, she indeed felt relief. Blending out the words her heart was keeping down. but the stare of the guide, tickled her skin, watching such a glare the man was eyeing.

'huh….such anger, must be a loyal citizen' she thought.

But the eyes of anger mattered not, as most of all the people looked back at the guide. Forcing him to smile once more. "oh…I guess we have a fan girl of our dear princess, oh my how disrespectful of me, sorry for such harsh words little one. don't worry, the famed silver guards are here, ready to keep you safe, ready to undo even the unforeseen crime.

That leads to another topic. the narrow of the silver line…"

The girl couldn't help but feel irritated, most of everyone back to the nonsense the guide was spouting. "haaa…..my time will come, I will scour this place and find what Viscount Robert is hiding and prove that bitch that her city was just as normal and mundane as everyone's."

The man beside her couldn't help but sigh, letting the girl talk whatever nonsense she was speaking, he just sat there beside her, like a personal guide of the girl. Endlessly listening to her every bit of complaint.

'why did I even agree to such a torcher.' Thought the black-haired man, lowering his eyes, as some of the people were still glaring back at them for ruining their mood.

One hour, two hours, three hours, the tour was long as was the city and all its wonders. the high tower, the line of infinite silver guards, the god screen, the lane temple, the pond of the Sakura leaves, and much more….

The floating bus stopped, and with the red sun at its dawn, it ended at last. Most of the tourists, finely satisfied with their long trip.

"My dear, why don't we settle here, the rents aren't cheap but if we cancel all the taxes, we don't need to pay." A couple chatted.

Such chatters groomed the parking space, and with every step, there was a word of positivity, writhing praises until they all reached their fine hotel rooms. From young couples to ready-to-retire grandsires. It was a fond site indeed, a fond site which the guide couldn't help but smile at, but his smile didn't end, gazing back at the pompous girl who was flared red from the echo of all the chatters.

And to prompt her even more, the guide couldn't help but give a wave of goodbye. A healthy and smile-filled goodbye.

.

.

Bang!

The innocent tv was plastered on the wall, the echo of its clash ringing around the large hotel room.

"That motherfucker, Lance, I want his head!" shouted the blond girl, as she pulled her wig, throwing it at the man who was with her all the many hours.

"My lady, I know you are angry but please behave, and we are in Mirakle territory, such words could ignite conflicts. So please…" the man rephrased.

The girl could only shut her lips, as the words were nothing but true, this wasn't the place where she could do as she pleased, order as she pleased. With a wimp of disappointment, she turned to the mirror and braided her crimson hair, the unique red hair that only a few possessed. It was long, and mellifluous, falling all the way to her waist. She glossed to the window, phasing her eye color to its original golden.

"its night time, even though the light of the day didn't gloss on their shortcomings, maybe the dark shadows will reveal what's beneath. we will continue our journey knight ling." She ordered.

She was ready to hear a yes, as she ordered it so, but there was only silence, which only felt like a slap of slander to her name.

"knight ling!" she shouted, turning her eyes to her. but her anger lapsed to confusion in no time.

"knight ling?"

Why wouldn't she, looking down on the man who was there to protect her, guard her? now a sleep on the floor, unconscious to such a degree, that the girl's push couldn't make his slumbering eyes to jog up.

"Knight ling?!"
