Chapter 193: Wake Up (Part 2)

Shera's perspective

This time was now afternoon, I think so. John had gone to observe the military training in the school hours ago. That was very good that my husband had recovered his memory fully. Anyway, I was now sitting beside Reimi, and opposite my sister-in-law in Royal's living room.

Though I wanted to follow John but he didn't let me, so I stayed here with my servant and my sister-in-law asked me to have a talk with her. Despite getting married, she was still living separately from my brother, which made me feel odd about Stella.

"Are you fine staying here, Reimi? I mean...your wound's still there, not recovered yet". - While waiting for my sister-in-law to open her talk, I turned my head to Reimi to ask her to rest

"I'm fine, my Highness".  "Don't worry, I'll be fine, I can now move...though it's still painful". - Reimi looked at me straightly while talking, why do you obey me so blindly?

"Yo, Shera". - Uh! My sister-in-law called me

"Yes, sis". 

"When John will return here?". - Huh? Why did she want to meet my husband?

"You want to meet him?".

"Yeah, it's good to hear my brother-in-law has recovered but he didn't greet me a word but went out to work". - Maybe my husband was now on his way to go home, I think

While saying to me, Stella slowly rubbed her pregnant belly while staring at a space for no reason. Maybe she was unpleasant because my relationship with my husband was very good while she and my brother did not go well.

"Sigh...". - She sighed tiredly, later grabbed a hot teacup on the table to drink

This time was now 4:24 PM according to John's watch. He should be going home from his work for now, but he was a bit late today. I don't know if John could be able to tell me something about the incoming war or not, I hope he could tell me a bit.

But my husband's memory had just newly recovered so he might be struggling to arrange the things in his mind. But it was very worth asking, I hope he could answer, at least one question.

"Anyway, sis...what's the reason you invited us here?". - I wondered what she wanted to ask me

"It cannot be told this time until your husband returns, just...I want to ask him about something, just in private". - In private? What was my sister in law was up to?

"May I have a word, my Queen?". - While listening to Stella, Reimi suddenly spoke up as if she wanted to do something

"Nod...speak".

"Her Highness and Lord Rigen are going to depart from here to Veta as he returns from his work, my Queen".  "I'm sorry for announcing you this but the meeting you made up for us may be delayed if Lord Rigen himself doesn't have time to answer". - I was intending to go home with my husband and Reimi today as he returns, but maybe I should delay the time and ask for John's determination first 

"That's so? Just stay here for a least the next few days, no need to rush to go home". - Stella said to us while drinking the tea

"But John wants to go home, sis...we still have things to do back there so...". - Now our house had many things to solve, I must have the detailed info about the incoming war, must also find my missing uncle and hunt down Hatano too

"Hmmph...alright, I understand...but at least let me talk to him for once". - Why did my sister-in-law grump on her face?

"Reimi, give me another cup". - Stella later asked Reimi to give her some teacup

Reimi only nodded to my sister-in-law. She slowly grabbed the empty cup and took some tea from the teapot miserably. When Reimi was doing her job, I stared at her to tell her to let me aid so she nodded and quit her job.

"You should not ask a wounded servant to work". - I said back to Stella while giving back to her another hot teacup 

"Anyway, sis...maybe I'll go outside to check on John, he must be returning here sooner or later". - I must wait for my husband at the Palace's entrance, he would return here at any moment

"No, just stay here with me for a bit longer, Shera".  "Maybe John will be here soon...you're too controlling and worried about your husband". 

Suddenly, when Stella was advising me, I heard the room's door open for no reason. As I heard the sound, my eyes immediately looked at the door and later saw John coming inside.

"Hello the three of you...".  "The guards said you're here, may I join the chat?". - John's military uniform seemed to have very much sweat, this year's summer was quite hot, poor my husband

"Welcome home, Lord Rigen". - Reimi stood up to bow to John and stood there as if awaiting orders

"Yo, you look tired, my brother-in-law...just have a sit". - Stella asked John to sit 

Meanwhile, I stood up and approached my husband slowly and hugged him a very big and sweet hug, so happy. John also hugged me and patted my head. He must be very tired today, I must do something to relieve my husband...if he needs it.

"Welcome home, John...".  "Are you tired? Do you need some water or anything?".

"No, Shera...no, I'm not tired, just sweating, that's all".

"Kiss!". - I gave my husband a sweet kiss to relieve him, he shortly grabbed my hand and headed to the sofa, later sat beside me and...

"Reimi...". - I know that was my husband's fault but...seeing someone else sitting beside him would make my eyes hurt, have to get rid of it

"Understood, my Highness". - She immediately changed the seat to the right side

I later sat in the middle while John sat on the left side of the long sofa...this time was very fair and acceptable, perfect. While looking at John's body to check on him, I sensed something was pointing at me. That feeling was very shivering for no reason...

"You two...stop being that sweet, I'm very jealous". - Ohhh...so the one who made me shiver was my sister-in-law

Maybe she was jealous when her love relationship with my brother did not improve while that was very lovely to me and my husband, sigh. Little did I know while staring at my sister-in-law, John was staring at her pregnant belly without blinking. Maybe he wanted to have children with me but could not because of the incoming war...

"John...". 

"Ahhhh! Uh, what's wrong?". - Why did he get startled?

"Nothing...but why do you keep staring at her?".

John didn't answer anything but sweetly rubbed my belly, maybe my husband wanted to have kids. To comfort John, I also hugged him a big hug while patting his head.

"I need more tea...". - My sister-in-law said with her frustration for no reason, why did she get jealous that easily?

Reimi slowly received the empty cup from Stella and shortly made another teacup. This time she did it more carefully to prevent her wounds from being hurt from moving too much.

After that, Reimi handed it over to my sister-in-law and she finished the entire teacup just only in a blink of an eye. For no reason...Stella kept grumbling and glaring at me every time she drinks the teacup...my sister-in-law was in her period day or what?

"Haaahhhh!".  "You two get out, give us a few moments".  "I want to talk to him". - Huh? Why she was so mean today? As if my sister-in-law had changed to another person while having pregnant

"What does she mean?". - John seemed to be bewildered at Stella's demand

"John...she wants to talk with you...about something private". - Suddenly, John's face grumbled a bit after hearing my reply

"May we talk it straight here, sis?".

"No...".  "It's kind of info is very important for our Warsaw, my husband asks just only to confide it with my brother-in-law". - What...? My brother asked my sister-in-law to be on behalf of him to question my husband?

"Maybe we should do it next time, sis...today I'll be busy, talk about it someday". - John rejected to make the private talk with Stella

"Ummm...alright, if you want". - My sister-in-law was behaving so strangely today!

"Give me another cup, Reimi". - After failing to ask John to have a private talk, she asked my servant to pour the teacup by pushing the empty cup onto her seat

"Understood, my Queen". - Reimi nodded and slowly grabbed the cup

"Be careful with the tea, it's hot". - I wanted to help her but her personality was quite...strict on herself so I would let her be

Reimi nodded while started grabbing the teapot to pour the tea inside the cup. Meanwhile, John tapped me so I looked at him to know if he was having something to say to me. Maybe we should have dinner before going home, I guessed.

"What's wrong, John?".  

"Maybe I'll have to trouble you again tomorrow, Shera, hope you won't mind".

"Okay...". - What did he want to tell me?

"Well...I need you to solve the paperwork for me, maybe in the next few days or just simply entirely tomorrow".  "Because I have things to do tomorrow, would have to be away from the castle...".

"Okay, John...but...may I come with you?". 

"Shakes head!". - Okay...

"But remember to go home soon, okay? It's not good when you're late, John".

"Yeah, yeah, I won't l-".

"Ahhhh! Ahhh!". - A painful moan strangely sounded beside me, I immediately pointed my eyes to the source and saw that was Reimi

For some reason, the teacup had now fallen to the table with the tea lying around. Reimi's right hand was now covered with the very hot tea so she moaned out, she could be burned so I must help her.

"You okay?". - John was quite worried about her so he approached Reimi and grabbed her hand to check on the marked burn

"I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine".  "It's just a mistake, Lord Rigen, it's nothing to worry about...it's nothing". - How careless and ignorant she was! I must help her!

"Let's get her to the healers, John...come this way". - Because I was quite confused and worried about my servant so I grabbed her hand and rushed out of the door

John's perspective

Reimi was very careless to make this incident happen, I was now walking out of the door while Shera and Reimi running to find a healer. Strangely that when I was about to reach the door, my right hand had been grabbed by something. I turned behind to look and noticed my sister-in-law was holding me.

"What's wrong with you?". 

Stella didn't say anything but gasped while approaching the door, later shutting it off fastly. Now I thought she was up to something, my sister-in-law was having some ambition on me, it seemed dangerous.

"Hey...just forget your wife a bit, John...I just borrow you for a few moments, come here...I missed you a lot". - What the fuck was wrong with her? Reimi now needs help but Stella behaved casually as if that incident never happened 

"Let me out...".

Suddenly, she grabbed my hand and pressed it to her pregnant belly, the baby kicking energetically as my hand touched the belly. Maybe she was using the baby to keep me with her, it was not good for me because I could not forget my fleshes and blood.

"Our child misses you too, John...how can you be so heartless to not care about us?". - Care about you and your baby? You only visited me once when I was losing my memory, then what the fuck was your true purpose?!

"I want to meet His Majesty".

"He's now overseas". - Stella kept pleasuring while holding my hand and showing her pregnant belly to me

A short time later, she walked with me to the sofa, shortly put me down and sat beside me while holding my hand tightly. I don't want my relationship with my wife to be shattered, must do something to get rid of my sister-in-law.

"What are you up to?".

"After living with him for a short time...I noticed he doesn't love me, then why do I have to love him?".  "But my feelings for you are different, do you still remember the nights we had our pleasure? That's why your seed's now inside me". - Stella leaned her body to me closer while making me feel the kicks of the baby in her belly...what should I do now?

"Your fate has now been destinated, John...you're mine, not her anymore".  "My little sister-in-law, what features of her make her special than I, huh? She's nothing compared to me, look". - To express the most honestly, Stella was more sexy and attractive than my wife...but that doesn't mean I love her, I never love Stella

"I never love you, sis...you should calm down".

"I'm very calm...".  "Your baby inside me is proof which showed our true love, only a man and a woman truly be in love can create children".  "You love me and I love you, that's how your child is now inside me, don't lie...I know your feeling, come with me". - Fuck...the most thing I hate is reading women's minds, cannot know what they think so I cannot get rid of this crazy lovesick!

"I don't love you, now get out...Stella".  "If you want me to come with you...never I'll do that, stop dreaming".

"Your child misses you, don't lie, come with me...I love you very much, don't hide from your guilty". - This was not good, if my wife returns and sees this scene then our love would be broken, now I must get rid of my sister-in-law!

"She'll see us".

"Just let her...that was her fault for coming to you when I'm the one who has your child and she has not". - Fuck, I must do something!

"Kiss!". - My sister-in-law later kissed me while squeezing my hands, her kiss was wet, tired and very lustful

I don't want to betray my family anymore so I pretended to enjoy kissing her while pushing my muscles to get rid of Stella's control. Shortly, I managed to get my hands out of her but she kept kissing me as if she didn't notice. 

"Ahhh!". - After a short time risking, I managed to push her away without hurting the baby

"John...". - Stop looking at me, we don't have anything to remember anymore...don't glare at me

"How heartless you are, our baby hates you now...".  "That's fine...to see a faithful man like you...but remember to spend your time with me every time you come here".  "Even when we cannot be together...our child would tie the both of us's love till the end...you're truly its father".  

After hearing Stella's speech, I tried not to look at her face while turning to the room's door. I managed to do it so later I grabbed the door's handle and opened it, went out of the Royal living room.

"John!". - A loud voice called me as I stepped outside, so I stopped moving

I slowly glanced forward of the hallway ahead, shortly noticed those were Shera and Reimi who were approaching me from afar. Shera was quite frustrated while stepping toward me while Reimi was holding her burned right hand...she seemed to be fine.

"What took you so long?".  "Reimi's fine now but...why did you leave her?". - My wife was a bit mad, now which excuses I should say to cover up my lateness?

"Uhhh...".  "Shera, don't misunderstand me, Stella asked me to help her". - That was a bad idea, I should have said something wiser 

"Please don't be arguing with your husband, my Highness! Lord Rigen must have something hard to say about". - Reimi came to protect me when my wife was quite mad at my actions...

"Hmmm...". - Shera didn't say anything but grabbed my hand, later headed to the Royal living room 

My wife later opened the door and saw my sister-in-law sitting on the sofa, both of them stared at each other for a short time before letting off. The three of us later sat on the sofa once again. Stella's face strangely returned to normal as we sat down.

"Sis...did you truly keep John here when Reimi required help?".

"Yeah...". - Stella casually talked to my wife while drinking another teacup which I assumed the tea to be poured into the cup by her

"John...I'm sorry for being loud with you earlier". - Shera whispered to me while grabbing my hand, now my wife was having some hatred toward Stella or something

"It's wet all around, wipe it". - Stella was very mean today, she pointed to the wet side of the table while glancing at Reimi, asking her to wipe it

"Understood, my Que-".

"Let me do it, Reimi". - I was about to be the pioneer but my wife did it first, she asked Reimi to sit

Shera later stood up and grabbed a cloth nearby to wipe the wet tea drops which remained on the tea table. Suddenly when my wife wasn't noticed, Stella took her seat and sat beside me with the surprise from Reimi.

"Reimi...leave us alone...". - Stella was quite risked and somehow courageous to hold my hand when around her were my wife and Reimi 

"Uhhh! Uhhh!". - Reimi was quite bewildered now, because she was under my wife's control but the Queen had the most authority to do everything when the King, his Advisor and the Prime Minister were away 

"Shera!".

I called my wife so she turned around to see me while wiping the tea drops, later she was mad at her sister-in-law's very mean action. I also tried to get rid of Stella but she kept pressing her pregnant belly to me as if she intentionally did it to trigger my wife.

"Remember, if I see you have any affair once again...this baby would be revealed to your wife...John". - Stella whispered to me before being pulled away by my wife 

"John...". - My wife hugged me  tightly after pulling Stella out of me

"That was just a joke, don't be that serious with me and him, my little sister-in-law".  "That's our women's instincts, my husband's now far away while your husband's here, having his smell a bit is not a big deal, just relax". 

"Let's go home, Reimi". - Shera later asked us to return to Veta

"Understood, my Highness".

Didn't say goodbye to my sister-in-law a word, the three of us just simply walked away from the room, intending to go home. My wife kept grumbling and jealous while walking, holding my hand tightly, not letting me off.

This time was now night, about 6:47 PM according to my digital watch which my wife was wearing. Shera was quite mad but as she went home, her jealousness had gone away after stopped thinking about Stella.

Today we would have dinner in my room instead of using the kitchen to eat alongside the maids, my wife wanted to have privacy with me. Now she was in the kitchen to grab our dishes out before heading them here to open the dinner for us.

Reimi was also invited to the dinner but because she was wounded so she had been told to stay in the room. Now I was sitting beside Reimi, my wife would normally not let me reach anyone except her. This time we were alone...so maybe Reimi would accept to speak to me, I hope so.

Anyway...tomorrow was quite hard to tell me what would happen to my fate. Sarah suddenly phoned me as I was observing the training in the school, with a message that Hatano would return to Warsaw.

After the call for a few minutes, I got out of the Knight Academy where I used to observe the training there, because I intended to get to the Keris Imperial Academy. 

Because three schools, the Keris Imperial Academy, the Keris Knight Academy and the Keris College were all located next to each other. My founded unit - Swift Predators took the control of the Knight school and the college school while the Head Hunters unit took the control of the Academy.

The observer of the College and the Knight school was me while Kane would be the one to observe the Academy. Hatano's impostor was her, because I could not observe all schools at the same time so I used her to do the purpose.

I didn't want to check on the Academy but that place used to get through disasters that my subordinate made so I always kept my eyes on it. Fortunately every time I got there to check, the students were all fine as if Kane did not disobey my orders.

Tomorrow would be the day Hatano invite me to meet her in a mystery area, which she told me to be shown on my Advisor's screen from dawn tomorrow morning. Didn't know what she was up to, but I saw it was dangerous, so I decided to go alone. Even when I got in trouble, my wife, Reimi and Sarah would take my place to manage things.

Maybe I should get ease a bit, no need to be panicked or worried about it. Hatano would be punished for what she had done (Though till this time, my mind hasn't had a clear punishment to put on her). Confiscating her weapons and equipment would be the case, but I must have heavier ways to punish this freak.

But at first, spending my time with my beloved servant would be the way...especially when my wife was busy in the kitchen.

"Reimi...say it slowly and deeply, just low". - I asked Reimi to have a talk with me while grabbing her hands, sometimes having an affair was a very good feeling

"Yes, L-".

"Call me John...".  "Which kind of present do you want me to gift you for your birthday?". - Reimi was a bit shy...or scared or something similar to it, maybe she didn't want to be caught up by my wife

"Tell me, Reimi...tell me". - Reimi after hearing my voice, she looked around for a few seconds before having the confidence to open her mouth

"I want you...John". - Yeah, I want you too...gifting her a white birthday was also good 

"I'll be there, when you need me". - Actually, I know Reimi's birthday was day 12th of the second autumn (September 12th)...wait a minute

That day was...once I accidentally found one interesting stuff on the internet, there was a day called the "Day of conception". It takes place somewhere in Russia...the day when the couples have a rest just to breed. Somehow it was a coincidence with Reimi's birthday, interesting to know.

Suddenly when I stopped thinking to look at Reimi, that was only Shera sitting on the chair...strange. On the table was a bunch of dishes on a wooden plate, which exposed the good smells to eat.

"Don't worry about her, John".  "I got rid of her, now we can be alone...only the two of us without anyone to break us". - Shera slowly leaned toward me while looking at the room's door

"I cooked for you some cookies, Reimi...eat well and go to sleep, rest till your wounds heal". - She suddenly hugged me tighter while looking at the door as if my wife was very disregarding the ones who dare to come to me

"Understood, my Highness". 

"You can never have him, maybe... being friends with him would be acceptable". - After finishing speaking to Reimi, my wife hugged me for a few more seconds before grabbing the dishes to eat with me

"Okay, John...let's eat". - Shera gave me a meal bowl, she later grabbed another one on the table to eat together

"Anyway...may I ask you something before eating, John?". 

"Tell me?".

"Ummm...as you lost your memory, Sarah mentioned to me something which you told her".  "It's about a war or something, may I...I mean, may you tell me about it?". - She wanted to ask me about the war?!

"Why do you need me to tell?". - I honestly wanted to reveal my wife the entire story but I hope she would not hate me if I tell her all

"Two weeks ago, Reimi said she met a man...that was my uncle, he wasn't dead". - Wait a bit...Lerer was still alive?

"Where is he?".

"He rarely appears...maybe his job is kind of too much busy, but at least I know we can reunite with my uncle soon, John".  "But now I want to know about the war, please let me know, even a bit". - Maybe I should shut my mouth but hiding would make my wife more want to find the truth, then she would hate me more than I can imagine 

"It will heartbreak you, my wife...".

"Why?".

"Because...I had done something bad to you, Shera".

After hearing my word, my wife stayed silent as if she was thinking about the unknown guilt I had done to her. Though her face truly expressed that she didn't get it. Shera later stared at me with her very trustful eyes.

"Just tell me, John...I've prepared myself".  "Maybe...you had gone to some bad things without a way out so you had to do that, you're forgiven, John".  "Please...tell me about the war".

"...". - I grabbed my wife's hands tighter while looking straight at her, preparing to reveal the truth to her

"Well, your brother asked me to make yo-, I mean...he intends to make war against Attenta".  "The cause of war would be his inborn child".  "As he explained to me, when the baby is born, the war will come...that's all I can explain". - No, I must not say it straight to my wife, she would surely hate me forever...or more than what I can imagine 

"What?".  "Alright so...that's why the military is being funded too much?".  "It's hard to believe but...why brother wants to use his child to open the war?".  "We and Jager don't even have enough power against Attenta forces...it's very risky to do it".  "One more thing...why he wants to use his own fleshes and blood to cause the war? My brother's that kind of ruthless?".

"We had already made the Warsaw - Elves - Beastmen alliance...".  "They will help us when the war comes...so".  "What do you think if we escape overseas instead of staying in our homeland to fight the war, Shera?". - When the war comes, it'll be very good to escape, I don't care about Warsaw's future, only care about my wife and my friends and relatives 

"Leaving with you...if you want me to but...I don't want to leave my brother and my home".  "My father's wish hasn't been made up yet, our homeland hasn't unified our former regions and wiped out Att-".

"Stop thinking about that nonsense, Shera! Stop dreaming, the war will surely doom us".  

"We still have the chance to win, I believe it, John".  "Because my uncle, now the Prime Minister is away, we should send my uncle to meet my brother".  "After that, definitely we'll have one more ally to join the war". - My wife was quite mad when her perspective was not accepted, but she tried to calm down 

"I ask you to escape with me, it's a very long story and reasons behind its demand".  "If you want to stay then I'll stay but we must escape when your brother doesn't notice".

"I know you and my brother have a distance between you two's relationship but...you show me as if you hate him".  "Why, John? Answer me?". - Now was the time I must speak to her the truth...hmm

"He threatened me to shatter our happiness, my wife...your brother is just a tyrant under a human form".  "That's why I want to get rid of him".

"Harm?".  "Tell me further, John...I want to speak with him in person tomorrow". 

"No! Do not do that!". - Maybe my most stupid decision was to let Hoster live, too late to stop his growing power 

"Then...what did he do to harm you, John?". - Maybe I should tell my wife the truth, by making me a victim would surely be a good way

"You must believe me, Shera! He forced me to betray you". - I pulled my wife closer to me and hugged her tightly as hard as possible, kept holding her without letting her off my hands, you must believe me, my wife!

"Nod!". 

"The child of him is not him".  "He never loved Stella...she had been cunningly used to bear him a child with another person".  "That's me, the father's baby".  "I had been tortured, threatened to send men to my house to kill you and others, I had no choice".  

After hearing my words, Shera grunted while pushing me out of her body as if my wife started to hate me. Meanwhile, Reimi had gone inside to look at us, she kept staring at me non-stop. My wife started sobbing while approaching her servant.

"I'm sorry to hear that, my Highness...don't cry, don't cry". - Reimi kept hugging and patting my wife as she sobbed non-stop

"Shera...I'm sorry but...that's my fault, I had no choice bu-".

"Don't say anything! You betrayed me, don't make any excuses anymore!". - Shera yelled at me while hugging Reimi, she was very out of control this time

"B-"

"If you face problems then why didn't you say that to me?! I'll do everything to help you but you didn't ask me to help you a word!".

I know my wife could not control her anger and jealousy so I slowly approached her, intending to give her a hug to calm her. Suddenly when I was about to reach Shera, Reimi put my hands away from her for no reason. She only stared at me with her very serious eyes.

"John...just calm down, let Her Highness be taken care of by me...her temper is not fine at all, talk to her tomorrow". - Reimi whispered to me while hugging Shera

Both of them shortly moved out of the room and got to Reimi's private room, I kept up with them and noticed the door had been shut.

"Don't come in here, go away!". - Shera from inside yell out to ask me to go away, her sobbing could be heard to be a bit noisy

An hour or more had passed since the previous incident, on my bed and now was trying to deepen my sleep. Shera was now sleeping with Reimi in her private room, my wife still very much hated me. But I hope she would forgive me soon because after calming down, she would surely forgive me.

Or that was what I thought about...

Could not sleep anything though I had gone to bed after having dinner. Could not finish even half of the meal, even could not sleep because of my tension about my broken relationship with my wife. Just hope we'll make up soon, as fast as possible.

I slowly got up once again and looked around to find things that could help me to sleep. There was a brown box, which was a sleeping pills box that I bought a long time ago. In case I faced a sleeping disorder, but I never used the pills, not even once in the time I lost my memory. 

Because abusing pills was a double-edged blade. Though I never used pills once, but Reimi used to use the pills a short time ago when her sleeping schedule had problems.

"Tch!". - I was quite mad because of my sleep so I grabbed the box, later poured out 3 pills...maybe these were enough to have a deep sleep 

I immediately pushed those pills into my mouth and swallowed them without having water to help me to drink it. Seconds later, my eyes and my mind were deeply tired so I lay on the bed, about to have a deep sleep.

"John...I'm sorry for being mad with you, can we have a little talk to...you know? I wa-". - Suddenly the door opened and my wife came in, but the effects of the pills were too strong so I could not lift my body, my eyes later closed
