A warm welcoming glade.

Majestic groves surrounded the area, growing in place, locking each creature's grade.

Their boundary blocked the giant varieties from the place.

A natural creation, a logical conclusion.

A pearl of lethargic wisdom aroused from moor adaptation.

In the sway of leaves, a humanoid creature fumbled in action.

Hitting each outstretched branch, cutting them off, rolling in motion.

A consequence of an unfamiliar newfound motor.

An adaptation in movement, led by the meticulously carved instinctual reaction.

She took a step, a hop, a walk, a run, and a jump!

A reflexive roll right after she landed, unconscious movement, agility personification.

Heavy breathing.

She basked in retrospective feeling.

An ability she was suddenly equipped with.

No knowledge of where it's been.

Not caring about its origin.

For memory has been bugging, there was something else she cannot unsee.

An unfathomable, unforgettable, radiant crown that abruptly appeared just as quickly as it disappeared.

………

Critters crossed the distance, moving between thickets and shrubs.

They hid from sight, avoiding track, away from the blight.

Unfortunately, all efforts were for naught.

For the forest welcomed new creatures of thought.

A humanoid cautiously traversed the surrounding growth.

A circumstance she newly became acquainted with, for the forest became totally unfamiliar.

A difference in perspective, a difference in height.

The world transfigured a whole different plight.

Stopping by the puddle, anyone could catch a glimpse of her appearance.

A larger mimic of fay, minus the weird-looking organs for sight.

For they retain their old characteristics, looking like a gem, a cat’s eye.

*Snap!*

A sudden incongruous noise.

A tread echoed, a different kind of poise.

For there was only two alternating sound deployed.

She moved in utter silence, stepping softly on the branches, and reaching the top canopy.

An observation of motion, waiting.

Finally, a familiar notion, of a hunting instinct weighting.

Her pupils turned into a slit, watching as another humanoid was on the trail meandering.

A doubt, a surprise, and finally a subconsciously hostile mind.

For she discovered that they were equipped with absolutely dissimilar eyes.

A hunt reflexively initiated, a prey perfectly vitiated.

Just waiting for the right time.

*Squeal!*

A pause in the action, a new partaker was in motion.

Another humanoid had appeared, a different kind.

They rushed in reckless abandon, with total irrational disregard.

An unusual breeze rose in tandem with their movement.

A symbol of the charge’s might, rushing straight at their opponent.

*Boom!*

A tremendous crash!

Both creatures were heavily wounded.

A flash of light.

She instinctively knew it was the right time.

A drop.

From the vertical stump.

A turn in the air, a twist.

A forceful kick, a recoil, launching her up close.

Everything slowed down.

Her heart was beating fast, and her cognition was concentrated.

Her smell heightened, and her vision upgraded.

She can feel a whole new illusive cognitive gradient.

Memories of all the hunts she initiated were awakened.

A cognitive frame substantiated.

A mystical claw covered with natural runes magically manifested.

Covering her arms, sharpness unabated.

Gliding in inertia, an overlapping strike was initiated!

A prey recovering from a concussion.

A dull eye without concentration.

What welcomed their sight was a magically enlarging claw of obliteration!

*Bang!*

A violent crushing motion.

A shockwave arose from the action

A creature was destroyed without pardon.

She rolled in inertia, picking up her pace, unconsciously hiding in another place.

A perfect assassination, an instant death, a situation displaced.

A movement practiced… of a hunting experience sublimated.

Rapid breathing.

She was feeling a different kind of thrill.

For this hunt was not a drill.

Not for survival, only for the kill.

An action she never had to consider when hunting was just done for a meal.

*Snap!*

Another incongruous movement.

Twigs snapping, branches cracking.

It seemed that what we had here was a lively gathering.

For this forest had come alive, new actors were rising.

A closed glade welcoming, spectators cheering.

For this wild colosseum was ominously operating.

Waiting for the grand mythological champion that would claim the mystical clearing.

………

A stretch of clear skies.

Of clouds not anywhere in sight.

Leaf hovered in the air, watching as creatures were displaced.

They were attracted by the meadow, a transformation in place.

Fauna turned into a mimic of their form, humanoid strays.

Leaf observed in absolute wonder at this new novel way to play.

Different species gathered in different forms, sublimating into the same frame.

The only difference was the structure of their eyes and the makeup of their mainframes.

Each received different types of cognitive enlightenment, an outcome of the inspiration they experienced.

For the Legacy’s knowledge was spilled over, always in a random sequence, definitely rephrased.

The energy focus hanging above was going down the horizon.

Another alternation was welcomed, from bright light to dim dark.

A change in environment, a change in constituents.

Leaving Leaf in utter bewilderment.

They can't exactly fathom why these creatures would suddenly initiate.

They were under the impression that every critter would hunt with discretionary grace.

Never destroying senselessly, a slaughter in all directions.

Not like this, a bloody ominous arena of a dark forest in motion.

Oh, wisdom… why was it that killing would always appear in the very first act of communication.

Of differentiated reasons, arising from differentiated cognitions.

The inevitable division of empathic congregation, a blockade arising from the mind’s subconscious alienation.

A notion forever carved in their unconscious behavior, a mythological sin that originated from the very first interaction.

………

Grave tension abounded.

Shadows crept in utter desolation.

Every life hid in abject terror.

An unusual silence in compulsion.

Heavy breathing.

A body tired and sweating.

An eye was hiding in the canopy, a gold slit-shaped pupil observing, surrounded with lush leaves.

She watched in cautious demeanor, an instinct hone under atrocious conditions.

A lesson learned in exchange for the deep scars displayed on her bloody complexion.

She can intimately feel it, the pressure was subsiding.

Not a lot of biped creatures were remaining.

Some might have escaped, but some definitely stayed.

For they instinctually knew that this land was a promised ground.

Rapid breathing.

She hopped between stumps, crossing the glade, hiding her tracks with the cover of trees.

The sound of rushing water was detected coming from a stream, carried by the breeze.

She slowed her pace, for she found the right place.

A mark surrounded by a group of four; a budding cooperation based on the same eye structural condition.

A safe notion that arose… for the encircled had an unfamiliar reptilian configuration.

A towering figure, bulky in demeanor.

Radiating majestic coercion, slow-moving oppression.

She hid in consternation, she needed time for consideration.

For this might be the very first experience of collaboration.

She observed as the group slowly approached, taunting, grunting, in hope of distraction.

Of another individual, a gradual heavy stride in motion.

Not taken thoughtfully for its slow pace was not in place.

A regret they would, unfortunately, had no time to appreciate.

*Snap!*

Just the right reach, arm raised, an exploring strike like a whip.

A bend, a snap, a neck abruptly cracked.

A consequence not supposed to be.

Dropping in an instant, an ultimate surprise, a movement of absolute reprisal.

Unexpected progression turned into a mounting tension.

Uncontrollably giving birth to a sudden feeling of devastating terror.

*Squeak!*

A shout of bravado, a vent of emotion.

A wave of anger arose from deep consternation.

From four to three they swiftly charged in action.

Hoping to be the one to take advantage of the gap in motion.

Unfortunately miscalculated.

For the cunning was set the moment a slow step was taken.

*Hiss!*

Arms in motion, bending in proper posture.

The Reptilian swiftly moved his hands in a quick and neat motion.

Bending his arms like an elastic twig, a target in the frame, the neck connecting the brave facade.

*Strike!*

A rapid crash.

A textbook demonstration of an accurate bash.

A crushing slam in each place, breaking each way.

An instant shift, an overwhelming play.

A sudden switch from hunters and prey.

Everything slowed down.

The Reptilian observed as each neck was mutilated in succession.

Bodies dropped in rapid sequence, four bipedal creatures dead in action.

Abruptly, his instincts blared in hazardous induction.

A situation he was definitely familiar, for the experience was something regular.

He ignored the slowly dropping bodies, focusing on his cognition.

Memories of all defensive encounters were suddenly brought into recollection.

A cognitive frame substantiated.

A mystical solid shell covered in natural runes manifested.

Blocking the silent and deadly strike coming untested.

*Bang!*

Powerful circular shockwaves arose from the cognitive clash, bending all leaves on the ground.

The cognitive constructs were smashed, broken, and scattered like glass in one round.

A trade happening in an instant, from an enemy never found.

*Boom!*

A rapid onslaught of overwhelming strikes.

Another claw was blocked, then materialized.

Spears and Shields in a contest, unrelenting strides.

An elegant calm maneuver, a stern cold-blooded response.

Followed by a sudden disengage in the fight.

The feline hid behind another tree after a brief try.

She judged that another exchange would not alter anything in her plight.

For the first time, the tried and tested experience was denied.

For the first time, a question was asked if staying was right.

For the first time, a problem required wisdom’s rational insight.

Unfortunately, both regretted that everything was too late.

For both found and locked a threat that existed in the same grade.

………

“Keepah~!”

The Monarch of Fay pouted in annoyance, watching as both fell into contemplation and silence.

“Keepy~! La~!”

Leaf pointed at their general direction in criticism, showcasing a failure of first-contact communication.

Used as a negative example while lecturing their fay companions.

“Eh~?!” “Keepah~?” “Keepy~?”

All the fay looked left and right in surprise as both creatures reached the exact conclusion.

They both stepped back, retreating slowly in action.

A low hiss, a soft purr.

Both alerting of their location in concur.

The first successful transmission, a new possible solution.

Opening the door to a new way of communication.

“Eh~?!”

Leaf watched in dismay as these creatures counteracted their lecture.

Both could’ve waited until the Monarch finished dynamically showcasing their conjectures.

Not slamming their face full the very next moment, suddenly reaching a consensus.

“Keepy~!”

Leaf had their arms akimbo, mobilizing each fay, offering a change in location.

An attempt to distract everyone from their bruised ego.

For she was certain this event was also happening in different knowledge aggregation.

An inevitable effect of mythological information diffusion.

………

A dark space.

An empty throne.

A silent hall.

Dynamic images of the world were projected everywhere.

An order not retracted, for the observer can’t be contacted.

[Data analysis completed… General trend calculated…]

[Cognitive frame unstable…]

*Beep!*

[Alert: Information filter was breached!]

[Alert: Void pollution expected!]

[Action Required: Conceptual Production threshold met.]

Unfortunately, what awaited the keeper’s prompts was just disturbing silence.

Dynamic images quietly changed in scope, showcasing bipedal creatures fighting, hunting, and collaborating.

A futile attempt to stimulate an executive in slumber.

[Primary Core Executive temporarily lost cognitive activity…]

[Activating emergency protocol…]

[Conditions met…]

[Protocol: Raven initiated…]

A lump of singularity was quickly generated in front of the throne.

[Creating thought aggregation anchor…]

Materializing a conceptual creation, constructed in the likeness of the genus Corvus.

A Raven.

The mythological symbol of omen.

The keeper proceeded to connect its conceptual coordinates.

Overlapping Primo’s cognition, allowing information entanglement.

An avatar formed under forceful entrustment.

*Kraa!*

The Raven spread its wings, flapping in place, watching all moving images.

Its head caught in a fog, for its consciousness was not awakened.

Only instinct was left in place for a mission initiated.

[Data anchor successful…]

[Opening portal…]

A door materialized in the Raven's vision, sucking its attention.

An instinctual action was aroused, a flying destination.

It removed itself from the throne, gliding into the goal.

Opening the door, welcoming a new world.

………

The energy focus rose above the horizon.

A new day approached.

It’s been a long time since the last encounter.

The feline was basking in the sun, hanging by the branch slovenly.

She ignored the hubbub of noises rising from the surroundings.

“Meeeoow~!”

A cat rose from below, climbing the tree, closing in, rubbing her face intimately.

She snorted, pushing its face away, removing herself from her leisurely disposition.

She observed the environment littered with awakening bipeds and yawning Felidae, all having the same eye configuration.

After the brief fight, she and the cunning tortoise reached a silent consensus.

Dividing the glade between the two, a stream in the middle for the necessary defenses.

She jumped down, reaching the ground in one agile movement.

Reminiscing the effort it took for everything to sprout at this moment.

She started collecting companions right after the failed confrontation.

A simple solution to the first problem she discovered.

A shell no matter how thick cannot stop multiple bashings in different directions without the time to recover.

Unfortunately, it seemed that awakening the power of cognition was not something everyone can do.

Getting her frustrated because she had to find all these people something to do.

For without coercion, everyone would just be content lying around in meadow fescue.

Bouts of inspiration streamed from her mind from time to time.

Of a sudden realization, or a new initiation.

Steady decisions were made from these abrupt cognitions.

Allowing her to manage the group she brought without omissions.

*Clap!*

“Meow~!” “Nyaa~!” “Meeow~!”

She gathered everyone’s attention, for a new round of hunting was now in motion.

A division of labor, a budding social conception, a tribe nearing completion.

………

Leaving the tribe, they wade through the forest, looking for prey.

Watching each juncture, alerting everyone of any threat come what may.

A normal beginning of what appeared to be just another day.

*Thud!*

A heavy tread was heard.

An indicator of the goal they are after.

She purred in low volume, alerting everyone to hide.

They moved in swift succession, agilely climbing each towering tree, biding their time.

Heavy breathing.

She hid in one canopy waiting for the target.

A majestic beast came to view almost immediately, a gigantic wide breed, with large feet, small arms, and a long snout.

An appearance undoubtedly showing what it meant to be the apex.

*Roaaaaaar!*

Only this time, something was different, something was making it distressed.

*Boom!*

It slammed its head on trees repeatedly, an apparent madness.

Dark mystical threads were found squirming on its complexion shrouding its mind in darkness.

Apparent pollution.

An ominous impact of the unadulterated Void’s erosion.

*Crash!*

A tree fell.

Its eyes turned unnaturally deep and dark.

The mystical threads burrowed inside its skull, alienating its structure.

Bones grew outside its skin, attempting to form wings, a malignant transformation.

Growths appear everywhere on its body, showing malformed structures.

A consequence unbearable, an imperfect transition.

*Roar!*

It lifted its head to the sky and roared in a complete frenzy, its eyes turned deep red, a symbol of utter chaos.

It stopped its movement in absolute abruptness.

It turned its crazed gaze at one specific canopy.

For the chaos in its body could sense its fundamental enemy.

Mythological Chronicles of the Plane – Chapter 1: The World’s Creation; On Order and Chaos.
Ver. Prayer For Mercy.

At the beginning of time, there was nothing, everything was in the embrace of the void’s blasphemous murmurs.

Until “it” appeared, a core manifested, creating the clean earth in which we breed.

Life was substantiated, a crown granted, deriving the creatures from which we were descended.

Oh, we plead for your mercy.

The solemn and graceful Monarch of Fay, The Mythos of Primary, The Original Adversary.

For you tore open the protective veil, welcoming the void to a grand feast.

Punishing us for our horrendous sins.

Changing the earth from a paradise, into one where all hell was unleashed.

A land where complex order ruled, with chaos as an eternal company.

We plead for your eternal mercy.

Oh, please forgive us.

Absolve us of our heavy sins.

(Author's Notes.)

Here it is! Chapter 4: A Wisdom Expounded.

Includes fight scenes, Cognitive Singularity Mechanics, and a sneak peek into Void Mechanics.

The ending of Arc 1: World Creation.

Phew, it was pretty nerve-wracking trying to design an acceptable action scene.

I did not even know if I delivered just right... Here's hoping.

Choosing this chapter title was suicide.

I might have bonked my head somewhere trying to choose this as the theme.

Anyway, the challenge was accepted.

And now I am here having a headache about the resulting piece.

I'll probably go over this chapter quite a few times even after I have already done so.

Maybe I'll be deleting some or changing the order of sentences or even maybe rewriting a scene. Who knows?

Overall, this piece was okay in my book, but kind of pretty unsure.

Definitely experimental for sure.

Anyway, tell me what you think.

Again, spirit forbid, if I missed any typo, grammatical mistakes, or anything really, please feel free to comment down below and I'll fix it as soon as possible.

Now, we're moving on the next; Arc #2: Order and Chaos.

Hopefully I'll still see you in the next chapter.

Chapter 5: A Protection Expired.

Sincerely,

An Owl.
