"Jasmine, didn't I tell you that you can't run inside this forest?"

"Don't worry, don't worry big sis Rianne, I am looking at my every step, so I won't fall." Jasmine shouted happily at her big sister. "Hurry up big sis or the fish will run!" She urged.

"The river won't run out of fish, and how can even fish run? They are swimmers not runners." Rianne teased.

"Humph"

Rianne giggled when she saw Jasmine's reaction but soon her giggles stopped when she saw Jasmine sped up and dashed.

"That girl." Rianne was speechless for a moment and immediately dash and followed her little sister.

As the two sisters neared the river, they started to hear the gushing sounds of water that flowed.

The nearer they become, the louder the sound. Jasmine became even more excited and she sped up her speed once again.

After a while, Jasmine stopped.

As if she saw something out of the ordinary. Rianne, who is following her from behind, noticed her abnormal reaction. As she reached beside Jasmine she couldn't help but look at her face and asked, "What's wrong?"

Jasmine only pointed her index finger to a distance, and Rianne followed where Jasmine pointed at.

What she saw there was a young man wearing a white long sleeve and dark simple pants sitting with brown leather boots beside the riverside. He is holding an improvised fishing rod using the natural resources from the surroundings. His hair is color white-silver which gives a regal atmosphere.

This young man's simple clothes couldn't hide his elegant bearing and for some reason he has this otherworldly aura. He has fair and smooth skin; black silky short hair with mesmerizing and dignified posture, and although Jasmine and Rianne couldn't see his full face, they couldn't help but assume that he is handsome.

The young man, as if noticing their arrival, looked at their way.His face has a perfect shape and his eyes were calm and captivating as if the universe is within his eyes, it has a sharp yet gentle look. His perfectly shaped, rich black eyebrows amplify the charm of those captivating eyes. His facial features match his elegant bearing and further solidifies his otherworldly aura.

Handsome he may be and although he was able to stunned Rianned for a moment with his bearing, she was still able to gain her composure after a few seconds and she raised her vigilance towards this young man.

"Who are you big brother and what are you doing here?" Jasmine asked.

"Shush" Rianne tried to stop Jasmine from interacting with the young man.

Seeing the vigilance of the youthful lady, the young man chuckled as if seeing a very entertaining sight.

He then looked at the young little creature, "I am catching fish as you see. If you want you can take some."

"Really?" Jasmine asked.

"Yes", the young man affirmed.

"No than—" Rianne wants to reject the offer but is cut off by the gleeful voice of Jasmine.

"You are a very good boy!"Jasmine praised in a somewhat childish tone.

"Boy? I am way older than you think." He smiled.

"Then can I call you big bro?"

"Do as you like."

Rianne still has a vigilant look on her face as she sees the young man and her little sister interact with each other. She swore that she would reprimand her naughty little sister later.

After a while of being silent, Rianne opened her mouth, "Who are you and what are you doing here? Are you a traveler?" She asked in a somewhat distant tone.

The young man seemed not bothered with it and answered, "I am Ark, and yes, as you said, I am a traveler." He paused, "May I ask your name and also about this place?"

Rianne pondered before answering, "My name is Risa and hers Daisy"

Hearing this, Jasmine widened her eyes and looked at her lying sister. She tried to correct her sister but met the aggressive palm of Rianne trying to silence her mouth.

"This place is called edge forest of Urganyan Forest. And as for the fish, though I am thankful for your good intentions, I would like to reject the offer because it seems you need it more for your travel." She politely rejected and then dragged her struggling little sister back to their village.

Ark shook his head seeing the young lady's high guard towards him. Well, he can't blame her since they are both strangers. He threw thought behind his back then turned his eyes towards the river continuing his business.

"Big sis, why did you lie earlier?" Jasmine asked puzzledly as Rianne dragged her. She can't understand why her big sis acted like that. Is there a problem with that recently acquired big bro?

Rianne paused for a moment before turning to face her little sister, "Listen here, not all good looking people are good, some of them are very very bad, and who knows if that man is really good or bad, maybe he has a plan to kidnap you for himself." She explained in a way Jasmine could understand.

"Hiiik!" She was scared out of her wits. She didn't expect that her recently acquired big bro would be that kind of man. Maybe, maybe he would kidnap her at night and do scary things to her. Maybe, maybe he would hide under her bed and drag her feet like the things she heard from the scary story. She thought.

Seeing her react like this, Rianne somewhat regrets the way she explained things, but she needs to teach this naive creature.

After calming herself for a moment, "B-but before we became family you and grandpa were strangers to me right?" Jasmine argued, maybe she was just saying this to escape from her scary thoughts and comfort herself.

Rianne almost choked hearing this, "Not all are good people like me and grandpa and stop bringing the past, we are family now."

"H-hmmn" Jasmine sheepishly nodded with a gleeful smile as she heard the term 'family'. This lessened her fear.

Seeing her like this, Rianne sighed in relief, thankfully she is not scared anymore.

"But sister, what about the fish?"

The sighing Rianne froze up, that's right they were given a task by their grandpa to catch a fish for their dinner.

"W-well, we only need to explain the situation and he would surely forgive us and let us eat a little from our dried stock for this winter. Ha-ha-ha."
