A few more weeks went by after Kazuya had his talk with Kaguya.

After seeing some hope to find her friends, she’d got to work on launching the satellites.

She’d decided that doing it from scratch would take far too long so instead, she decided to look for companies that were already working in this field and take over those companies’ operations.

It would help them get their work done much faster.

Kaguya had already found a company that had her specific preparations.

She was in talks with them and it was estimated that at least one satellite would be launched by the end of the year and Kazuya’s requirement of 8 satellites would be fulfilled by the time next year ends.

It was an unbelievably fast period, but the company was already in preparation to launch its satellites.

Since they were such an ambitious company with what seemed like quite a few funds, Kaguya would have to utilize countless underhanded tactics to take over that company.

It was admirable how much she could do as long as she had hope and motivation.

Kazuya also fulfilled his end of the bargain and started working on the tracker application. He had estimated that it would be completed by the end of September.

When the satellite launches at the end of the year, they would be able to locate whomever they wanted without any issue.

“Pleasee~ It’s my birthday…Just once…” Ruka was begging with her hands clasped together while she was on her knees.

“Get up. Stop making a scene.” Chizuru had a tired expression on her face.

“No! I won’t! You have to agree… It’s my birthday… I just want to feel some love…” She made a desperate expression

“There will be no ‘love feeling’ even if you go…” Chizuru snapped.

“You don’t know that.” Ruka was hopeful.

“I will make sure of that.” Chizuru dashed all of Ruka’s hopes

“So, you agree?” Ruka had trapped Chizuru through her words.

“No!”

“You agreed. You can’t just go back on your words.” Ruka tried to bargain.

“Why are you so adamant in the first place?” Chizuru asked, exasperated.

“I love him…”

“I doubt it.”

“I understand, but I won’t know for sure unless we actually do something together.”

“You’re not doing anything together.”

“Come on, Chi-chan… Just this once.”

“Then you’ll stop pestering me?”

“That depends.”

“On what?”

“Whether the feeling continues or not.”

Chizuru couldn’t help but sigh at this troublesome girl who had been pestering her ever since she met her.

‘The fuck do you mean you can share? I don’t want to share. I could barely agree to that other bitch, and that too by denying her existence completely…’

Chizuru had already tried everything to get rid of Ruka but she just didn’t relent. She would come back every day and pester her.

“Come on, get up.” She pulled Ruka up when she noticed some people looking at them.

“No! I won’t. You have to agree.” Ruka was headstrong.

“Fine, fine. Just get up.”

“You have to say it.”

“Sigh… You have my permission to go on a date with Kazuya for your birthday…”

“Yes!” Ruka jumped and pumped her fists.

“You want me to go on a date with the girl who played the antagonist in the movie?”

“Yes.” Chizuru nodded with a serious expression on her face.

They were both in the penthouse.

“What brought that on?”

“She was very… persuasive.” Chizuru looked to the side.

“Come here…” Kazuya pulled her into a hug.

“If you really don’t want me to go then I’ll refuse. You know how persistent she is, once she gets some headway, she’s going charge right in.”

“I know…”

“Are you sure?”

“Yeah… I agreed. What’s another one…” Chizuru was referring to Kazuya’s side chick.

“I’ve made sure to completely keep her mention away from you.”

“Now that’s a lie. Do you think I don’t know that it’s Mami? It’s very obvious.” She smirked at him.

“…I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“It’s fine. I understand that your love for me is as real as it can get… You’re just a greedy fucker.”

“That I am…”

“As long as I know that you love me… Everything’s fine for me. You can… do whatever and whomever the fuck you want to do.”

Kazuya was speechless at her words. He never expected her to outright agree to his womanizing ways.

“After all that you’ve done for me… I would have to be a really dense bitch if I still don’t recognize your love for me.”

“Haha…” Kazuya couldn’t help but laugh a little when Chizuru called herself a dense bitch.

“What?”

“Nothing…” He had a smile on his face.

She looked at him with narrow eyes.

“I’ve never felt a lack of love from you. So… Yeah, you can go out with Ruka. Whatever you guys do… I’d rather not know… I agree with this situation but that doesn’t mean that I want to see my man being all romantic with another girl. Understood?”

“I understand, babe…” Kazuya lovingly hugged her.

“I’ll say no to Ruka.” He whispered in her ear.

“What? Why?”

“You think that I’ll resent you for preventing me from enjoying myself. You’re insecure about losing me so you’re trying to indulge me. I don’t want that from you… I don’t want you to force yourself to agree to this.”

“But I’m not.”

“You are…” Kazuya could easily see the signs of insecurity on her face.

“But…”

“You don’t understand, babe… You will always be my number one. Period. If I wanted to fuck someone on the side then I’d have done it. I wouldn’t have told you. Ruka came to me first, I sent her to you since I wanted you to take care of it.”

“So…”

”Yeah… I got fed up with refusing her and thought that you’d be headstrong and take care of it for me…”

“You just dumped her on me?”

“Yep. I thought you’d refuse her and that would be the end of the story.”

“And I agreed…”

“Yeah…”

“So, what now?” 

“You tell me. Do you really agree or are you forcing yourself?”

“How am I even supposed to know that?”

“How about this… The three of us all go out together before Ruka’s birthday. I’ll enjoy my time with two girls in my arms and you can see how you feel in her presence. Because honestly… I don’t want you to constantly live in denial…”

“I feel like I should be angry at you for even suggesting this… but it doesn’t sound like a bad proposal… If I really hate it then you’ll finish your relationship with Mami.” Chizuru tried to add another condition.

“You know it doesn’t work like that, babe…”

“I know… It doesn’t hurt to try.” She pouted cutely.

“Good. So let’s do this, two days before her birthday, the three of us will go out. Then you can decide what you want to be done. All right?”

“That works for me.”

“When is her birthday by the way?”

“26th of August.”

“Perfect, we’ll go out on the 24th. We’ll do a simple dinner and a movie and it’ll be fine. What do you say?”

“Works for me.”

“Great. I’ll make sure that you enjoy it. I promise.”

“Mhm.”

Chizuru talked to Ruka after that about Kazuya’s plan and instantly agreed. She was completely fine with sharing and understood that she was the third wheel who was trying to be something more.

Soon, the days went by and it was already time for the date.

“Kazuya, I don’t think I can come.” Chizuru was wrapped in her blanket and wasn’t willing to come out.

“You’re coming, babe. Even if I have to drag you out in your pajamas, you’re coming on this date.”

“But…”

“If you keep running away from this all the time then we’ll make no headway, ever. You might as well refuse Ruka and get everything over with.”

“I’m not wearing anything.” She smirked and attempted to change the topic.

“Well, we can’t have that. How about this?” Kazuya wrapped the blanket tighter around her and picked the wrapped girl in his arms.

“I’ll duct tape you to this blanket and force you to come on this date.”

Chizuru was desperately struggling but the wrapped blanket was too much for her.

“Nooo~ Lemego~”

“You’re coming.”

“You can just go alone.”

“That doesn’t fulfill the purpose of this date.”

“My grandma.” She was just desperately finding excuses now.

“You just met her today. Let the poor old lady rest.” Kazuya was stubborn.

“Can’t you just give in?”

“Not when it comes to this. Do you think that I don’t see the momentary conflict on your face every once in a while? I do. And I’m going to fix that shit. For that, you’re coming with me today. Hell, if this is successful with Ruka. I’m going to take you out with Mami too. You’ve only seen her be a bitch, I’ll show you another side of hers.”

“What? Now I know that it’s not some profound reason that you make it out to be and you just want to take two girls out.”

“Maybe I do. We’ll never know unless we do it the first time. We’re doing this. Let’s just get this over with.”

“You’re really not going to relent?”

“Not a chance.”

“Sigh… Fine. Get me free of this. I’ll get ready.”

“That’s my girl.” He gave her a loving kiss on her forehead.
