" Excellent!" Austin exclaimed before raising his brows, noticing many different things this time.
The first thing Austin noticed was that, unlike before, this time, Zero was clearly mentioned as the one who defeated the enemies.
" Hmm, interesting," Austin smiled, scratching his chin. "This is likely because of the new feature added last time, the 'Team members & Subordinates' ".
The second thing Austin noticed was the ( 1 + 1 ) on the pirates' levels. And after thinking about it for a while, he guessed that the meaning of it was probably the additional power the pirates had gained after being strengthened by Jango's hypnosis.
" Despite gaining 58 000 EXP, I only managed to level up one level, " Austin sighed " I guess leveling up quickly will be hard from now on!"
Afterward, Austin calculated his gain and found that he earned between the rewards & leveling up 225 Stats Points ( 220 + 5 x 1 ), 23 Skills Points ( 22 + 1 x 1 ), and 32 Shopping Points.
After pondering about how to allocate his accumulated points for a while, Austin decided to start with his Stats Points first.
" I will add 100 Stats Points in Strength and 50 Stats Points in both Stamina & Agility, " Austin rubbed his hand together. " As for the Skills Points, I will add 11 Skills Points to my Devil Fruit because it's been a long time since I upgraded it. And lastly, I will add 4 Skills Points in each one of 'Soru', 'Geppo', and 'Shigan' skills."
" Now, let's see what the final result looks like." Austin smiled and reviewed his Character's menu.

" I should check it as well!" Austin entered the Database to search for the new skill's description and found the following information.
Wind Tornado: Form a whirlpool from the winds and 'wind blades' and create a Tornado that destroys anything on its path.
" This is really Overpowered!" Austin exclaimed before grinning widely " Things will be really interesting from now on because finally, I can create Tornados now!"
After finishing everything on his interface, Austin nodded in satisfaction and closed the panel.
Glancing around, Austin discovered that Zero had already gathered all the corpses in one place and was standing on top of the cliff, monitoring the area and ensuring no one was spying on them.
Meanwhile, Brain has also finished searching the pirate's Ship and carried what he got back in a bag.
" My lord, everything is here!" Brain presented the bag to Austin and added, " but I'm sorry I didn't find a lot this time."
Austin took the bag and inspected it, but he found only 3,5 million Berries cash inside and some other things that were barely worth anything.
He frowned, thinking - These Black Cat pirates are a hell of poor bastards! - Austin sighed - Well, they are here in the first place to raid the village for money, so I shouldn't expect to find anything worth something on their Ship. - Austin shook his head and stored everything in his Inventory.
" You have done well, Brain!" Austin praised Brain before looking at Jango's corpse (Lvl 7 ) and decided to merge it with the latter to strengthen him.
" Get ready to get stronger again," Austin smiled because he knew that Brain loved this part since the latter always seemed excited whenever he would start merging him with others.
And just as Austin expected, Brain was clearly overjoyed by this news and quickly stepped forward, kneeling before him.
" Merge! " Austin commanded, activating the 'Merging' part of his Skill 'All For One'.
A moment later, a black shadow appeared under his feet and covered both Brain and Jango's bodies. These two shadows stretched out and converged together until they were completely engulfed inside. And after a minute of waiting, Brain reappeared alone.
Austin used 'Detect' on him and got his current stats!

" Yes, My lord " Brain bowed his head before using 'Soru', leaving quickly to call for Zero.
It didn't take long for Zero to arrive using 'Soru' as well, and he kneeled in front of Austin.
" You have done well this time, Zero," Austin praised Zero's previous performance before adding, " So get ready. I will merge you with this Buchi guy since he is closer to your combat style."
"Yes, my lord, " Zero answered as he grinned.
" Merge! " Austin commanded and activated the 'Merging' part of his Skill 'All For One' again, targeting Buchi's corpse ( Lvl 5 ).
As usual, a black shadow appeared under Austin's feet and covered Zero and Buchi's bodies. These two shadows stretched out and converged together, and after a minute, Zero reappeared again with no apparent change in his appearance.
Austin used 'Detect' on him and got his current stats!

After Zero departed to his task, Austin examined the rest of the bodies on the ground and found that there were still 52 corpses in total, Kuro's corpse ( Lvl 12 ), Sham's corpse ( Lvl 4 ), and 50 pirates' corpses ( Lvl 1 ).
Austin smirked, looking at Kuro's corpse ( Lvl 12 ). " It's time for my third loyal Subordinate to be born! "
Since it's only possible to create new subordinates who are qualified to get Names and appearances by using the bodies of Pirates with bounties on their heads or Navy officers with official ranks. Austin chose Kuro's corpse ( Lvl 12 ) as a basic material to create his new Subordinate with!
Austin brought a Crystal Soul Grade 3 from the Shop for 30 Shopping points and started the creation of his third Subordinate.
" Arise!" Austin commanded, trying to activate the creation Part of his Skill, 'All For One'.
A black shadow appeared under his feet and covered Kuro's body, the Shadow kept wriggling around, and finally, after a minute, a human being with no gender started appearing. This human being has the same height as Kuro but with no hair or facial expression on his face.
Austin received a notification informing him of the skill's success afterward!

" Since Kuro was a butler, I think I know of a certain someone with the same characters as well," Austin smirked after finding the fitting Name and appearance for his third Subordinate.
" From Now on, Your Name shall be Sebas!" Austin announced the Name loudly in a deep voice while keeping in his mind the image of the appearance he wanted.
The human being started changing his build and appearance until it looked like Austin had imagined before!
An elderly butler dressed gracefully in his traditional black uniform. He was 6 feet 3 inches tall ( 190 cm ), with both his hair and immaculate beard being white. He has wrinkles on his handsome face, making him seem gentle in appearance, but his eyes were as sharp as an eagle's.
The being, or Sebas now, kneeled on his knee before Austin while looking at the ground and declared with a powerful yet gentle voice that contained the utmost respect and worship.
" Sebas, greet my Lord and Creator !"
Austin expected this display because both Brain and Zero also did the same before, so he simply nodded his head in acknowledgment and said, " Rise!"
Sebas rose gracefully to his feet, showcasing his perfect manners in the process.
Austin glanced at his interface and noticed that the clothes and the items Sebas was wearing were brought from the Shop automatically, like the last time, for 25 Shopping Points.
And since Sebas was apparently a close-combat fighter, Austin didn't buy any weapons for him and continued strengthening him instead using the rest of the corpses.
Austin first ordered Sebas to prepare for merging with Sham's body ( Lvl 4) and activated his Unique Skill afterward.
" Merge! " Austin commanded.
A moment later, a black shadow materialized under his feet and covered Sebas and Sham's bodies, and after over a minute, Sebas reappeared alone.
Austin used 'Detect' on him and got his current stats!

Austin glanced at the rest of the 50 bodies still on the ground before taking out two corpses from his Inventory to be used in the next Operation. ( the two corpses were the ones left from The Gonzack's pirates before ).
Austin did so because after doing some quick calculations, he discovered that if he merged all 50 bodies at once, he would obtain a body Lvl 25 at the end. And if he remerged that body Lvl 25 with Sebas afterward, the latter would only gain 12 Levels from the process. ( 50% of the 25 Level is 12,5, but the System will choose 12 since Level 12,5 doesn't exist).
So to not waste 2 corpses, Austin decided to add two other corpses to the equation and merge 52 bodies together, which would provide better results in the end. ( 52 bodies combined together will result in a body Lvl 26, and if merged later with Sebas, the latter will gain 13 Levels )
Austin inspected the 52 corpses and nodded before activating the Merging part of his Skill 'All For One' by commanding, " Merge!".
The same thing happened again as a black shadow emerged under his feet and covered the 52 bodies of the dead pirates ( 50 Black Cats pirates & 2 Gonzack Pirates). These shadows stretched out and converged together until all the pirates' corpses were completely engulfed inside the Shadow and vanished.
After over a minute of waiting, a human body ( Lvl 26 ) emerged from the Shadow with no gender or facial expression.
" Get ready." Austin turned to Sebas and said to which the latter nodded thoughtfully in response.
Austin then activated the Merging part of the Skill 'All For One' again as he commanded, " Merge!"
The same scene happened another time. The Shadow emerged under his feet, covering both Sebas and the body Lvl 26, and after a minute, Sebas appeared alone!
Austin used 'Detect' on him to see his new Stats and Level.

Austin was overjoyed by the sight of his new Subordinate getting stronger, and since Sebas was Level 21, he shared with him the 'Melee Combat' Skill and the 'Rokushiki' ( The Six powers ) tree of skills.
It took Sebas a while to sort out everything in his mind and regain his cool after he felt dizzy due to the impact of getting all the information and Skills shared at once.
" Thank you, My lord! I, Sebas, offer you my sincere and eternal loyalty to the end of my life! " Sebas declared devoutly while bowing his head deeply at Austin.
" Good!" Austin smiled and nodded in satisfaction before saying, " Now, it's time for you to meet your other brothers!"

So pirates need a bounty to create a new subordinate there were 4 pirates in this one with sufficient bounties to create new subordinate with but he merged them with his other subordinate s instead why that's a waste. And why all men?

Well, instead of having 100 weak subordinates, it's better to have 10 strong ones instead 😉.
As for why there are only Men so far. Well, that's because The MC hasn't encountered women who are pirates so far. So he can't create a female being from a male corpse. That's illogical.
@Asbarta I feel like that was not stated they come out featureless so I figured they came out gender less to. After all if you look at it being male or female is a feature of the bodies so... Maybe make that clear or run with it?
@Asbarta That would make sense but you also describe the shadows as genderless and featureless, which insinuates that you can alter both of those aspects. Is it a hard rule that hasn't been described to keep the gender or is it simply personal preference of not wanting a woman made from male corpses?

Smart enough not to waste it here, but what about fusing with Jango (lvl 7) = 3.5 rounded up to 3 and with Buchi (lvl 5) = 2.5 rounded up to 2.

Now for you question. The MC chose to merge the officers directly with his subordinate because it's a waste otherwise.
Jango, for example, is Lvl 7, and half of that number is 3.5. But If the MC wants to fix that problem, he will end up facing a bigger one.
To fix the initial problem ( 7 / 2 = 3.5 ), The MC will need to merge Jango with another pirate at least LVL 1 ( So he can get 7 + 1 = 8 ). But then he will have a bigger problem because the final body will have fewer Levels than Jango, remember the 50% rule, so after the merging process, The MC will have only a body Lvl 4 ( 7 + 1 / 2 ).
In the end, he will have just wasted a pirate Lvl 1 and Jango Lvl 7. So to avoid that, the MC decided to merge Jango and the other officers directly with his subordinates despite the initial 'Level Problem'.

Should have chosen someone else both Zero and Sebas are martial artists and have their worth in the story reduced unless you change the fighting style of one of them
