A silver haired woman was walking around in a somewhat empty street, the sky is somewhat dark as the sun is just rising up

"Arianell!" Someone called out

The silver haired woman -Arianell turned towards the source of the voice, which was a man with short greyish-blue and blue eyes wearing dark blue tang suit, he was standing in front of a building

"Oh, Hai." Arianell said with a blank tone

"Don't give me that tone now Aria." The man -Hai said with a faux pained tone

"Uh-huh, so is there any reason why you called?" Arianell asked as she enters the building

"What? I can't catch up with a friend?" Hai answered it with a question as he follows her

The inside of the building is very spacious with some stands with weapons on it, some windows and a door leading to another part of the building, there are also multiple chairs on the sides

"No, no you can't." Arianell answered with a blank tone but amusement was dancing in her eyes and her lips twitching upwards

"Oh come on, don't be like that now, Aria." Hai said, also amused

"Mhm, How are you doing?" Arianell asked

"I'm doing fine, business isn't as good as before, but fine nonetheless." Hai answered with a hint of dissatisfaction in his tone

"Don't worry, I'm sure you'll recover soon." Arianell assures her friend as she pats him in the back

"Oh right, how's your daughters?" Hai asks, trying to change the subject

"Hm they're fine, Sum is as hyperactive as always, and Arcy, well, Arcy a bit odd..." Arianell answered, becoming a bit hesitant at the last part

"Odd? How so?" Hai asked, burrowing his eyebrows in confusion

"Well, most of the time, she acts like a normal kid, she's smarter than normal, sure, but recently, she's... How do I say this... More aware? She just seems to know things that she shouldn't know, especially when nobody teaches her it. And also, she's learning at a more faster rate than before... Don't get me wrong, I'm proud of her, but the rate she's learning is making me a bit worried..." Arianell answered with a worried tone

"What is there to worry about? Sure, if word gets out, she'll probably attract attention, especially the bad kind, but I don't see how that is enough to overly worry about, especially since you and Garnet are her parents." Hai reassured her

"Oh, you give us too much credit." Arianell said "But anyways, how's your daughter?"

"My little flower is doing good, though she's quite noisy and cries a lot." Hai answered, exasperation and tiredness bleeding through

"That's what babies do, Hai." Arianell said in a matter of fact

"I could barely keep up with one, how did you managed with two?" Hai asked Arianell

"Well... You could just say I only dealt with only one and a half." Arianell answered "Arcy is actually quiet compared to Sum, but she could be quite loud sometimes."

"Guess that's another quirk added." Hai said in a joking tone

"A good kind of quirk, makes me have less of a headache." Arianell said in a joking tone

"I wish my little flower was the same." Hai said, also in a joking tone

"Oh right, how's your wife doing?" Arianell asks

"Sera is doing fine, though she's being a bit difficult." Hai answered and Arianell snorted in response

"Since when has Sera not been difficult?" Arianell asks and that got a laugh out of Hai

They talked around for a few more minutes about various different subjects before Arianell remembered something she got to do

"Ah right, I still have to buy food, they might start worrying if I take too much time." Arianell said

"Oh well, I gotta open up soon anyways, so this works out, have a good day Arianell." Hai said with a smile

"Have a good day to you too." Arianell said back while waving as she was walking out the building

February 17, 47 - Unknown Place

"Mom! Mom! Look!" A small child with black hair that ends with red and has silver eyes said to Arianell with a drawing in her hands

Arianell smiles at the child and pats her in the head "It looks good sweetie."

"Hah! Hear that Arcy! Mine's better than you!" The child said as she points at another kid who is still drawing

This kid -Arcy has black hair that ends with silver and also has silver eyes. She looks up to the child, slightly smirking and says "Mom only said that it looks good, not that it's better than mine."

"Still! Mine's still better!" The child says

"I'm not even finished yet..." Arcy mutters to herself, but Arianell heard it regardless, Arcy then continues on drawing

Arianell stands up from where she's sitting and looks at the time, 'It's 5 P.M. now, I should probably start cooking for dinner now.'

She then starts to the kitchen while simultaneously ignoring the bickering sisters behind her

*Timeskip*

While Arianell was cooking, she heard the door opening, but she doesn't need to turn around to know who entered, after all, she wasn't a sensor just for show

"Good afternoon Net, I assume the mission went well?" Arianell asks to her husband while still continuing cooking

"Well... There were some problems that came up, Professor Jade called for both of us tomorrow." Net answered with a serious tone

"That bad?" Arianell asked with eyebrow, worried

"Well, no, the mission actually went well, but apparently Professor Jade found some information regarding her that needs to be addressed." Net clarified, his tone slightly changing when he said 'her'

"Oh, I see." Arianell said, immediately knowing the implication of why Net said "I'm gonna ask Hai to look after the kids for this."

"Feng Hai? You mean your former teammate?" Net asked

"Yeah, who else has that name after all, why even ask?" Arianell answered and then ask about his weird behaviour

"I... Well..." Net was at loss, but that was enough answer for Arianell

"Don't tell me you're jealous? You and I both know that we're only close friends, nothing more nothing less, that brief time when I was his crush was like I said, brief. And besides, he has a wife of his own that he loves, I very much doubt that he would cheat on her for me. Don't be like that again Garnet." Arianell started berating Net -Garnet

Garnet at least has the humility to look a bit shameful

Arianell would've continued her berating if it weren't for the fact that she was still cooking the food for dinner "I guess we'll end it here, please don't do this again, Net, also could you look at the kids for me?"

"Of course." Garnet answered as he walks out the kitchen

Arianell shakes her head and sighs, both in fondness and exasperation as her lips tugs upwards, she then turns around and continues cooking

February 18, 47 - Beacon's Headmistress' office

The door of the elevator opens up revealing a room with a chairs and a table, but the most prominent part of the room is intricate clockworks cogs and gears on the ceiling

A woman that looks early to mid-forties is sitting on the chair behind the table, she has long silver hair and emerald green eyes

"You two are right on time." The woman said to both Garnet and Arianell who just walked out of the elevator

"Professor Jade." Arianell nodded at the woman -Professor Jade as the elevator doors behind them automatically closed

"What did you call us for?" She asked, getting straight to the point

"This is a matter pertaining the Grimm Reaper." Professor Jade answered "Maria Calavera was attacked by the Queen's subjects in an attempt of asassination, she of course fought back and managed to kill them, but in the process, lost her eyes."

"What!?" Garnet said in shock, while he never met the infamous Grimm Reaper personally himself, hearing that she lost her eyes still shocks him as he knows the implications of it

Arianell on the other hand is more of a type of person to be silent when shocked, so silent she is

"I'm sure you know the implications of this, while she always took the chance of killing off Silver Eyed Warriors, she was never this forward as far as I know from him, so the fact that she is now using her subordinates to actively hunt down Silver Eyed Warriors is worrying. You should lessen the amount of missions you take, Garnet, to not risk anything." Professor Jade said

She then gave the two of them some time to process all of this. After a few minutes, Arianell spoke

"I see... Should we move to a more safer home then? I doubt Vale proper would be all that safe now... Especially with all the criminals running around..." She asked

"Yes, I was going to suggest that too, after all, a sudden attack of a criminal and a family dying because of it would only be considered happenstance and would not be anything too suspicious than normal, I recommend you to choose a house that isn't in a town, but still close to one, not only will you avoid most of any kinds of attacks like that, you would also know if someone started walking towards your home due to your sensory ability as being in a town or any populous areas negates the ability for you to discern who's suspicious and who's not." Professor Jade said

Garnet who has been quiet all this time, decided to speak up now "Should I start training the kids? They're almost six years old after all, the more prepared they become if she sends someone to go after them." Arianell also nods in agreement

"Yes, that would be preferable, but ultimately, the decision of when they start training would fall into you two." Professor Jade agreed

"I see..." Garnet said

"Now, I should catch you up with the things happening while you two are gone." Professor Jade announced

*At a different place a few minutes ago*

"Thank you for agreeing to this Hai, I really owe you one." Arianell said to Hai

"Nah, don't think too much about it." Hai said

"You two won't cause any troubles while with your Uncle, okay? Especially you Summer." Arianell said to the twins while also looking at Sum -Summer when she said the last part

"Okay/Mhm." Sum and Arcy said and hummed respectively while only the latter nodded

"Alright, we got to go, see ya." Garnet said while waving to the twins with a fond smile on his face

Eventually, the two had to leave as the Headmistress of Beacon called for them specifically, they wouldn't want to be late for it

Hai looks at the twins 'Now how to start with this... Ah yes, introductions' "My name's Feng Hai, I will be taking care of you two for now."

"Feng... Hai...?" Summer said

"Yes yes, also, just to clear things up, Feng is my family name and Hai is my actual name, it's a sort of tradition that my family upholds." Hai said

Summer looks confused but nodded anyways, Arcy on the other hand nods in understanding and looks as if she already knows it

'That's odd, did Aria said it to them already? But the one with red tips doesn't seem to already know it, though it could only be a matter of her forgetting it or just didn't listened in the first place.' Hai thought to himself

"Now, what are your names?" Hai asks to the twins

"My name's Summer Rose!" Summer said loudly while pumping her fist into the air

"My name's Arcene Rose." Arcy -Arcene said, more calmly compared to her twin

'Ah, so she's the one that Aria always describes as being a bit odd... Guess that explains it, though other than being quieter and smarter, she wouldn't be as odd as Aria makes it out to be, would she?' Hai thought to himself

"Are you a Huntsman mister!?" Summer asked Hai

"You can just call me Uncle Hai and yes, I am." Hai answered

"Not everything is about weapons, Sum." Arcene said to Summer, already knowing what she was gonna ask next

"How could my own sister say something so horrible!?" Summer said particularly to no one in horror

"The truth is hard to swallow, isn't it?" Arcene asked with a slight smirk, half-joking half-serious

Summer decided to just ignore her sister entirely and looked back at Hai "What kind of weapons do you use!?"

Hai looks between the two before answering "Well, I don't really use any particular weapons, unless you consider armoured gloves as weapons."

"Anything could be a weapon if you used it properly." Arcene said, though she didn't really know how that thought came to be

"True true." Hai agreed with a slight smirk

"That's it?" Summer asked, disappointed

"Not everyone uses overcomplicated mechashift weapons, some people like me stick to the classics." Hai said while patting Summer's head

"You know what, why not I show you how I fight?" Hai suggested, trying to cheer up Summer

"Really!?" Summer asked, excited, even Arcene is looking curious and a bit excited

"Yes, really, now do you have any places that has enough room to move around here?" Hai answered and then asked

"Uhh... no." Both Summer and Arcene answered after a moment of thinking, their answer caused to think Hai of a compromise

"Alright, come on, I'll show you my place." Hai said as he stands up with the two curiously following him

*Timeskip*

'You know, maybe it isn't a good idea to do this...' Hai thought to himself as he and the kids near his home

'But what's done is done, can't really go back now.' He thought to himself as he opens the door and was met with the sight of a woman with ashen hair and fiery red eyes seated in a couch, watching

"You're back already? I thought you wouldn't be back for a few more hours Hai, did something happen?" The woman asked Hai, a bit worried and a bit annoyed

"Nah, I brought the kids with me Sera." Hai said to the ashen haired woman -Sera, and then a a kid with long greyish-blue hair and blue eyes comes out from another room

"Dad back!?" The kid asked excitedly

"Of course my little flower." Hai answered with a fond smile while lifting the kid up, the kid giggled a bit

"Uh..." Summer said while shyly hiding behind Arcene

"Hello there." Sera said to the twins

Arcene suddenly had this weird feeling to say something in response to that particular line, but couldn't really figure out what exactly it is

Sera misinterpreted it as nervousness, so she decided to introduce herself first and take the lead "My name's Seraphina, nice to meet 'cha."

"Hello miss, my name is Arcene, nice to meet you too." Arcene politely said to Sera -Seraphina, she then starts prodding Summer, silently saying to her that it's her turn to introduce herself

"U-Uh... My name's Summer..." Summer shyly said to Seraphina, Arcene then subtly prodded Summer again "N-Nice to meet you."

Hai raised an eyebrow to that 'She wasn't like that when she introduced herself to me, so why the change in behaviour?'

"Hi!" The kid said to the twins full of excitement which caused Summer to lighten up a bit

"So, pray tell why did you came back here so early, and also bringing the kids with you?" Seraphina asked Hai

"Well... I offered to show them how I fight, and because their house doesn't have any spacious rooms, I just brought them here instead." Hai said

"Did you at least asked Aria and Net for permission before going on with that decision?" Seraphina asked Hai

"I told them and they said that they'll just pick up Summer and Arcene once they're done with the meeting." Hai answered

'That wasn't what I asked.' Seraphina thought to herself as she gives Hai a look full of suspicion, but before she could go on and continue, one of the twins asked something

"Do you put your family name first too, miss?" Arcene asked Seraphina curiously, saving Hai. Seraphina gives a look to Hai and he immediately knows what it meant 'We'll talk about this later.'

"Well, no, it's Hai's family that follows that tradition." Seraphina answered after turning back and look at Arcene

"Aren't you already part of Uncle Hai's family?" Arcene asked which caused Seraphina to rethink

"Wel-" Just as Seraphina was about to answer, she was interrupted by Summer

"Wait! Does that make her our aunt?" Summer asked with a bit of excitement

"Well, I am your aunt." Seraphina answered

"Should we call you Aunt Sera!?" Summer asked excitedly

"Why of course~" Seraphina answered with a smirk

"Are you a Huntress Aunt Sera!?" Summer asked

"Yep~" Seraphina answered when Arcene suddenly remembered something

"Weren't you going to show us how you fight Uncle Hai?" Arcene asked to Hai causing everyone to remember that one particular thing

"Ah right, come on." Hai said to the twins

Hai then walks into a room with the twins and Seraphina -who was holding the kid from earlier who was oddly quiet- following behind him

The room they entered was very spacious with some stands with weapons on it, some windows and a single door probably leading outside, there are also multiple chairs on the sides

"This is our Training Hall, like the name suggests, this is where you could train freely." Hai said

Hai then walks straight to the middle of the Training Hall while Seraphina guides the twins into the seats to sit down

"Look at Dad there, he's gonna show off to a bunch of kids." Seraphina said to the kid with a low tone, knowing that what she said would be heard by all occupants in the Training Hall because of its spaciousness, Hai just decided to ignore her

Hai then falls down into a stance and then started swaying around his arms in a fluid motion which made Summer confused while Arcene looks curiously

"What is he doing?" Summer asked Arcene in a whisper

"Just watch." Arcene said to her

And then suddenly, Hai then started a chain of kicks and punches in different directions, Arcene followed her eyes to Hai's movements and imagined a person on the opposite side of all of it and see where it lands, in the neck, the knee, the elbow, the stomach and the chin, and all of those are only the ones that she could think of at the top of her head

She doesn't really know why she's doing this, but it feels like she has done it multiple times before, though there is one question that appears in her mind that she'll just have to ask later 'This seems like it's made to fight another person, and not Grimm?'

After all, a Grimm takes after wild animals most of the time, and Hai's style of fighting doesn't really fit with things like that, maybe when an Ursa is standing or some other Grimm's that has a similar body physique with a Human/Faunus, but definitely does not fit for fighting Grimm for the most part

"Right, how about that?" Hai asked to the twins after he stopped

"That was so cool!" Summer answered with full of excitement and Arcene nodded in agreement

"I have a question." Arcene said to Hai deciding now is the best time to ask her question

"Shoot." Hai replied

"Why does it seem like it's made to fight another person instead of Grimm?" Arcene asked in which not Hai, but also Seraphina was surprised and Summer on the other hand looked confused

"Huh, I didn't expect you to figure that out so quickly, or at all even." Hai said and Seraphina nodded in agreement

'Is this what Aria meant by her being a bit odd? I think this more lines up with the description of being a genius than odd, which is quite ironic since Aria has always been the observationalist type of person and I'm not really a person that is good at it.' Hai thought to himself

"That's because it isn't made to fight Grimm in the first place, like you said, it's made to fight other people." Hai clarified, Arcene in response looks at him with confusion

"But aren't you a Huntsman?" Arcene asked

"There are more dangerous things than Grimm that Huntsmen and Huntresses has to fight." Hai said, Arcene ponders upon what he said and Seraphina snickers but slightly nods in agreement

"Huh? What is it?" Summer on the hand is more confused so she asked Hai

"You'll learn about it when you're older." Hai said while patting her head, Summer pouted in response

Seraphina carefully stands up from her seat causing the others to look at her to see the kid in her hands was sleeping

"Ah, Hua's already asleep?" Hai asked

"She didn't really slept properly last night, so that's bound to happen sooner or later." Seraphina answered

"Guess so." Hai said

"Come on, let's go to another room to not disturb the sleeping kid." Hai said while leading the twins to the living room while Seraphina goes upstairs continues on upstairs

*Timeskip, A few hours later*

A knock was heard on the door causing the twins and Hai to look at it

"Alright, stay here, I'll check on it." Hai said to the twins while standing up from the chair

Hai then proceeds to walk to the door and opens it slightly and peek to it before fully opening it to reveal both Arianell and Garnet standing behind the door

"Dad! Mom!" Summer said excitedly while running towards the both of them, Arcene on the other hand while calmer, was also excited to see them again

"How's my little sweetie?" Garnet asked while scooping Summer in a hug

"Mhmki!" Summer's answer was muffled because her face was stuffed in Garnet's chest, but it's most likely 'okay'

Arcene looks at Arianell expectedly, Arianell already knowing her very well knows what she's asking and hugs her too while also slightly giggling

"Are we going home?" Arcene asked Arianell

Hai, hearing this decided to ask in a joking tone with a slight smirk "What? Don't like it here? See if next time I'll let you enter here then."

Arcene just looks blankly at him before her lips twitches upwards

"We're just gonna talk a bit before we go home." Arianell answered

"Mhm 'kay." Arcene said

Arianell then let's go of Arcene and then goes towards Hai

Arcene on the other hand, just decided to annoy and tease Summer like always being the responsible sister she is

Arcene was laid in her bed, trying to fall asleep, but it always takes around an hour before she actually falls asleep which annoys her to no end

But this time, something's different

Suddenly, she had some sort of vision, or visions to be exact, she sees a man that somehow just seeing him makes her annoyed, she sees a screen that's full of texts, she sees a orange bike hanged into the wall by a wall hanger, and lastly, she sees a meteor fast approaching downwards where she's at

And she hears a voice "Finally, it's time."

And for some reason, she wants to reply to that particular sentence with something specific, but before she could even respond, her vision turns black as she lost consciousness
