Naruto Uzumaki, future hokage of Konoha was currently sleeping. Suddenly the alarm clock buzzed him awake.

"What time is it?" Naruto said groggily.

It was 12:30pm.

"ITS ALREADY NOON!?" Naruto shouted which probably made the entire village shake.

After discovering that he was so late Naruto quickly got out from his bed and did his bathroom rituals. After coming out of the bathroom only wearing a towel to cover his family jewels. Then he went to his wardrobe to change his to change his clothes but noticed that his favourite jumpsuit was burned by that emo.

'Tch...damn you teme.' 'Naruto thought scowling.

Because of this he had to wear a half-sleeved black black shirt with the red Uzumaki symbol and black Anbu styled pants.

After that he went to make some breakfast. It was just a cup of Instant ramen and expired milk.

After breakfast Naruto looked at the time. It was exactly 1pm.

'I still have 2 hours to spend before I go see jiji. Maybe I'll visit the shinobi library. Now that I'm a fully fledged shinobi, they have no choice but to let me in.'

It was decided then. Naruto was never a reader but he wanted to see if the library had some cool jutsus that he could learn.

He quickly put on a pair of black shinobi sandals and left his house. He took to the rooftops for faster travel.

Soon he arrived in front of the library and stepped inside the library.

There was a girl on the counter who looked to be around 16 years old with her brown hair tied up in a ponytail. She had fair skin and was wearing standard civilian clothing.

"Name and rank please." the girl said with a bored tone.

"Naruto Uzumaki, Genin." Naruto replied.

"Okayyy, make sure you don’t go beyond the first floor. The second and the third floor are only for Chunins and Jonins respectively." the girl said in a bored tone.

"Sure.." Naruto replied unsure of what to say.

After that strange interaction Naruto started to look around the library. The library was separated into 5 different sections. Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Kenjutsu and miscellaneous topics such as medical jutsu, Chakra control, Shinobi politics etc.

"Tajuu Kage Bunshin!" Naruto exclaimed.

10 Kage Bunshins poofed into existence.

"Separate into groups of 2 and each group go into one of the sections." Naruto ordered his clones.

He got a "Hai!" as reply from them.

Soon enough the Bunshins appeared with a bunch of books. There were multiple books on many different topics. Such as– Different Chakra control exercises, Basic Taijutsu, Basic Kenjutsu, Basic Genjutsu, Elemental Manipulation, Shinobi politics, Different Jutsus and how to counter them etc.

Naruto decided to read the Chakra control exercises book because he remembered Iruka telling him that he had horrible Chakra control. After all a Hokage can't have horrible Chakra control.

[1.5 hours later]

The book was mildly interesting. The book talked about a lot of Chakra control exercises. Such as— Tree Walking, Water Walking, Water Walking, Kunai Balancing etc. According to the book, Naruto should start with the Tree walking exercise.

But then he looked at the time.

"Wow! I read for that long!?" Naruto exclaimed to himself.

"I should head over to see jiji." Naruto muttered to himself.

'But whar about these books?' Naruto thought to himself.

'Maybe I'll borrow these books and take them home so that I can read them!' Naruto decided.

He quickly ran over to the counter to borrow the stack of books he was holding.

"Excuse me miss, I'd like to borrow these books!" Naruto exclaimed.

"For how long?" the girl asked.

"Uhh....a week should be enough." Naruto replied.

"Okay fill up this forum please. If you don't return the books within a week, you'll have to pay a late fee." the girl said handing him a forum.

Naruto quickly filled up the forums. After filling up the forums, Naruto put the books in a tote bag which was provided by the library.

"Okay, thanks." Naruto said leaving the library.

After he left, he once again took to the rooftops for travel.

Soon enough he reached the Hokage's Office.

As he was walking up the stairs he saw a Jonin with, gravity defying silver hair who was wearing a mask which covered the lower part of his face and his hitai ate was covering his left eye, walked past him.

'Hmm...who's he?' Naruto thought.

'Well whatever, he's probably just a cannon fodder.' Naruto thought "hmphing".

Soon enough, he was right in front of the Hokage office.

"Sup jiji!" Naruto yelled bursting through the door.

"Ahh...Naruto-kun. Come, sit here."as Hiruzen said pointing at a chair.

"Okay jiji, what did ya want to talk about?" Naruto said as he sat down on the chair.

"Well, I wanted to give you the items that your parent's left you." Hiruzen said as he took out two scrolls out of one of his drawers.

"What're these scrolls?" Naruto questioned as he took both of the scrolls.

"Read them." Hiruzen replied simply.

Naruto opened one of the scrolls and started to read it.

It's me your mother. Your dad is making me write this in case something bad happens to the both of us. He's just really cautious y'know?

I have already been pregnant for 5 months at the time of writing this letter.

Anyways, I hope you've been eating healthy. I hope that you haven't developed a ramen addiction like your father. Like seriously who has an appetite like him?

Moving on, on the bottom of this scroll I have sealed some of my own Shinobi equipments.

That includes the Katana that I use. It's name is Minazuki. Treat her with care.

In my journey as a Kenjutsu mistress, I developed the "Elemental Blade" Kenjutsu style. It should suit you very well.

The katana was for the lack of better words, beautiful. It’s blade was a crimson red color with its guard being a white coloured guard. It’s handle was black with red designs. It's Kashira was of a pure white colour. 

"Ahh...it’s been so long since I've seen Minazuki.

You see Naruto-kun this katana is special. This katana has a seal embroiled into it that absorbs your opponents Chakra when they are slashed with it and converts said Chakra into your Chakra." explained Hiruzen.

"Woow, that's so cool!" Naruto shouted with stars in his eyes.

"Okay now, let's seal them in fir now. You can try them out later. You still have your father's scroll to open." Hiruzen said trying to calm down Naruto.

"Yeah you're right!" Naruto said sealing back in the rest of the items.

Naruto quickly opened the other scroll and started to read it.

I am currently writing this letter whilst the Kyuubi is destroying the village. I don't really have much to say other than I love you.

The reason I am choosing you to be the jinchuriki of the Kyuubi is becayse I believe in you.

I don't have much time. Below this scroll I have sealed some things.

I have a scroll on my personal Taijutsu Style the "Elemental Fist". I have also sealed in a scroll about the Flying Raijin in how to use it and some personal notes about said jutsu.

"Natural energy is a form of energy that exists in the atmosphere and the earth. By gathering the natural energy in their surroundings and combining it with their own Chakra, sages are able to enter Sage Mode and use senjutsu. In order to use senjutsu, one must first learn to sense the natural energy in their surroundings and draw it into their body, which requires becoming "one with nature". To control the natural energy they absorb, the user must balance it with their own physical and spiritual energies, which together make up chakra, in order to create senjutsu chakra. "Yes, yes, I have to admit that you have quite a lot of potential." Hiruzen said with a smile on his face.

"Oy jiji can I ask you for something?" Naruto asked with a nervous smile on his face.

"Of course Naruto-kun. What is it that you need?" Hiruzen questioned with a curious expression.

"Uhh...y'know the other day my favorite jacket was burned by that Sasuke-teme. So, I wanna go shopping with you!" Naruto exclaimed.

"Oh that? Of course I'll go with you. This will be a good break for this old fool." Hiruzen said as he got up from his chair.

"YAHOOOOOO!" Naruto shouted with joy.

"Let's go to Higarashi's Weapons Shop. They sell some of the best Shinobi equipments in the village." Hiruzen said opening the door to the exit of the office.

"Really? Thanks jiji!" Naruto said.

"Hm it’s fine Naruto-kun." Hiruzen said smiling at the blonde.

It didn’t really take much time for them to arrive at the shop. The wasn’t much. It was a medium sized shop. Maybe it would be more interesting on the inside.

Yeah no the shop definitely looked even more interesting on the inside.

There were shelves filled to the brim with Kunai, Shuriken and some other Shinobi equipment.

There was a section dedicated to weapons.

Then there was a clothes section. Most of these Shinobi clothes were very high quality. They not only provided better defence than normal clothes, they also were quite fashionable.

Naruto spent a couple if minutes searching through the whole section looking for clothes that he liked.

He then came across a navy blue half-sleeved high neck t-shirt. The t-shirt was made out of amazing materials which provided amazing defence.

He took 4 of those same t-shirts.

For pants he just got some black Anbu styled pants.

He also got some finger less gloves that covered his whole forearm.

He also got a sword strap on his back.

That was it. After paying for them Hiruzen and Naruto bid each other farewell.

Naruto quickly went back to his home becuase he had some reading to do.

After arriving home,Naruto put all of the items thar he was holding down.

"Okay...what do I do now? Oh! I need to finish those books!" Naruto muttered to himself.

Naruto had already thought of a training routine for the whole week.

He would train all day read the books at night.

Since he had already finished the Chakra control book he thought he would read the basic Taijutsu book.
