"Why wouldn't I be present at my own party."

"Your party?" It wasn't just a collaboration between the Zhang brothers.?

Nathaniel chuckled as he took another cigarette out and lit it. "Your not very versed in the social business are you?"

Kei tilted his head a bit. He would consider himself quite knowledgeable in the entertainment industry. What was this man hinting at.

"There are two stars of the show tonight. I would be the other. The one that owns Jump Franchise."

Kei Yun wanted to roll his eyes. Why didn't he see it. Even if he didn't know that Nathaniel owned Jump Franchise. He should've known there would be a great possibility that he would attend the gathering, since Liam was also here.

Which also ment that Liam knew he'd be here but said nothing.

'Ah... that sneaky man.'

Looking at the silent and charming, but cautious youth, in front of him easily getting distracted with his thoughts, Nathaniel laughed.

The sound of his melodic laughter brought back Kei Yun's attention. The younger was now carefully studying him. "Knowing that your presence is important to the banquet. What is President Zhao doing here?"

"You dance pretty well for someone who was raised in the slums." Nathaniel nonchalantly threw out there.

'...?!'

Kei Yun did not see him in the crowd. So just from where was he watching? And the slums comment...

Did he do a background check on him or was Liam once again running his mouth.

Kei ignored his inner turmoil and responded accordingly. "In this business it's best to learn a bit of everything. I wasn't born rich and being raised in the slums isn't any better. If I want to get to the top I must have some skill."

"Well said. I notice you have a way with words." He looked up at the night sky. And in the distance was the crescent moon. "I have no questions that I'm sure won't be answered during the shoot, were the exact words you expressed during your audition. Well..." His deep, ocean-blue eyes searched Kei Yun's. "were your questions answered in the end."

What questions? Kei Yun didn't have any. He only said that to impress the other and not to appear to much as a newbie. He was greatly surprised that the President even remembered that.

'Am I being tested right now?'

"I don't expect you to answer that." He smiled toward himself. Appearing to have come to a conclusion of his own.

For some reason Kei Yun had the constant urge to always think twice before speaking. His usual vague answers would be quickly seen through. And if that was possible so would his lies.

What the hell was going on here, wasn't he mentally older then this man. Why was he getting flustered over a small power play.

"Don't stay out too late." Nathaniel advised, in a voice that wasn't rude but direct. He was clearly dismissing Kei Yun.

'Eh?..You can't be-'

He watched as the man completely ignored him and continued to smoke as if he was once again alone in the garden.

Sighing Kei Yun turned around and walked away. Not even giving the President a goodbye, he just left and made his way back to the banquet. And just as he stepped through the door he ran into Boa Lui Zhang and Dae Eun.

"There you are." Dae Eun quickly grabbed Kei Yun's hand and dragged him away from the gathering and through the front door of the mansion.

'This woman...' Kei shook his head in hopelessness. If she wanted it she just took it.

Right outside was a black jeep and a chauffeur holding the back door open.

"Come with." Dae Eun exclaimed as she felt Kei Yun stop and pull his hands away.

"Where do you think your taking me?"

"To see my collection."

"It's late."

She tilted her head sideways, allowing her bangs to gracefully fall to the side. "And your of age."

"I'm a college student. I may be of age but staying out all night isn't helpful to me "

Dae Eun flashed her sparkling dark brown eyes at Kei Yun. Pursing her pink lushes lips, she blinked her round eyes and widened them a bit bigger. Her cheeks were puffy and flushed. "Come on Haru..."

The word 'please' was heavily written within her gaze. She was not taking no for an answer.

Kei Yun couldn't help laughing. To situation was a first for him. A celebrity with high status was practically begging for his attention tonight. She had to be a huge face con lover.

But he'd be lying if he said he didn't fine her a bit cute. She was beautiful but not like Li Jing. Li Jing was a cold beauty. Dae Eun was like a flower full of energy. She was a vibrant youth no older then 24. With a talent for fashion. And as far as he could see she ment him no harm.

He guess he'll be entertaining her tonight. "Alright."

A giant smile shaped Dae Eun's lips as soon as the word was spoken. Her eyes formed beautiful crescents, happiness swirling deeply within them.

He was quickly pulled into the jeep, the door closing behind them loudly. The engine started and soon the car drove off, leaving the banquet far behind.

Yet currently, back at the mansion within the south wing. A certain emerald-eyed man approached a fountain. One that looked identical to one Kei Yun had just saw.

With a smile he lightly brushed his hand through the clear running water. "Twice in one day. I don't know if I should say I'm lucky or take this as a bad omen."

"Take it however you'd like Liam."

"If you just let me have my way like this I might become spoiled." Liam laughed.

Nathaniel frowned his gaze a bit colder then usual. "Why'd you bring him here?"

"Why not? Just because your not a party person doesn't mean my beloved isn't."

"Be a bit more responsible would you. Don't have your sweet 'beloved' running around places like these. I don't wanna end up cleaning up your mess again."

"Calm down. I got everything under control. The only attention he grasped was Choi Lui Zhang and Dae Eun."

Choi Lui Zhang wasn't a problem. Kei Yun was for sure not his type. But he did fit Dae Eun's. Though she also wasn't a threat. She was a nice young girl with spoiled tendencies.

Nathaniel nodded removing the cigarette between his lips and throwing it to the ground, before stumping the fire out with his expensive shoes. "10 o clock tomorrow not a minute later."

He leisurely stood up and left the garden. Leaving Liam to ponder a lone in the night.

'10 o clock? wasn't that too early.'

Liam rolled his eyes. Nathaniel was bossy and demanding as ever. He didn't even consider the aftermath of tonight. You party hard your bound to wake up late in the morning. Why did he think everybody was a morning person like him.

Turning around he walked the wooden path toward the main entrance. Brushing his long fingers through his curly hair he wondered if he should have stopped Kei Yun from going.

"Urgh.." He grumbled. "I'm not even his manager. This sucks..."
