"Oh, that's why!" Zyos ducked out of the way of the duck- Heh- as it flew above him recklessly into the dark and sturdy tree, soon three other followed in an unorganized attack that was working more for Zyos than the ducks themselves, seeing as he simoly moved and dodged by the skin of his teeth another duck and successfully made so said duck hit beak first the first duck who had hit rhe tree, and the impact had made them both stunned! The two other ducks were harder to dodge, but Zyos simply hid behind a tree and let them fly beyond him, he took advantage of tbe ducks that had hit each other to look at them menancingly- I mean, [Intimidation] was a skill he had right? Might as well try to inflict the [Cower] condition on them! 

'It worked!' I mean, he did cut the throat of one of them, he was still bathed on that thing's blood! He sighed as he moved forward, one [SP] point was consumed as he put extra strength on his feet as he kicked the ground, dashing forward to the ducks- He used [Darkness Embrace] again as he also activated his [Bear Savagery] for a split second, consuming 1 HP point to add [+10] to all his stats except Luck, increasing his damage a bit. He badly damaged the duck's neck, but didn't manage to outright kill the duck, but the duck retaliated-

[-50 HP!] 

'Fuck!' His eyes widened when the duck bit down on his arm, it hurt badly and he ¾ of his hp was gone in a single hit! 'I'm fucked, aren't i?' 

He blinked at the message as he ran back to the thick forest, dodging another attack. His blood was flowing through from his damaged shoulder down to his arm and his finger where the ring found itself to be: 'What...' He had to dodge another duck, they were fast but their movements were so easy to read as they mindlessly attacked him, charging towards him with all their might, hurting themselves more than normal. It seems they don't hunt in groups, or like, they are simply mindlessly attacking him and themselves because they considered each other obstacles or competition for a prey or something? Apparently he was right, because when one of the ducks hit another, they started fighting!

He took that window of opportunity to hide and stand still and quiet as he looked down at the ring- There was only a second before the horn fragment he had popped out of the ring without his will and fell on his bloody hand-

The horn on his hand turned into a black sludge that moved, entering his skin effortlessly, like a sharp needle- It hurt, a lot actually, but what scared him was the large red eye that appeared on the palm of his hand. It blinked for a moment and he felt a splitting headache, putting both hands on his forehead he groaned, his muscles tensed and his bones burned as another system screen appeared:
