Brood, brooding young man. Wounded neck under bandages rough.

 

Lowering the high tide with a low moan subside, did Neo hear soft steps acome.

“ Neo?” Neo did recognize the tender whisper, of Longing, of love, of Neliya. Sweet Neliya the quiet and learned, with no book of Sensei she brought but a kindled light of a small torch.

Placing the light, Neliya came to her life love's side, a tender whisper to know.

“ What is it, Neo? Tis cold, pray cease the brooding to night?”

 

Neo meant not brood, nor think, but feelings that cannot be ceased.

 

“ I miss Kai.”

 

Neo truly spake his ceaseless emotions

“ I miss the days when we were one. Hand in Hand, In Hand to all Ends. Now but half, twelve that can't defeat any Demons."

 

And the mention of the word, Demons, a howl far, yet close to ears both Neo and Neliya could hear. Neliya shivered.

Neo held her close.

“ I am Lesser.” Neo did not mean but spoke

“ Demons upon us, snatching trees with berries. I should have won over, but lost. Show me now, a Power to thrive that I can't ponder !” Neo anguish, for his lead has got them no food for his pack, and Demons proved stronger.

Neo seeks help.

And Neliya can. Neliya cares.

 

“I know a way.” Neliya whispered bravely to her love.

“ The way for our Light to be stronger.”

 

“ A way, deciphered in the Book of Sensei?!” Neo inquired with excite.

Neliya turned to dark, in Sorrowment, but her love, turning her back to moonlight, to Neo.

 

“ Yay.” Neliya nodded, bravely.

“ A way that can help us all. But I need, your Trust, your Faith, your Love.”

 

“ Anything you say, I provide.” Neo promised, but Neliya refused everything, just His Trust, His Faith, His Love.

" That is all I need." Neliya smiled, and undressed.

 

Neo froze. But did not stop Neliya, who went on, pulling his robes off gently. Two Children, to the cave behind the waterfall, the waters down on them, cleansing their flesh and soul as they enter.

Neliya lay, pulling Neo down with her.

 

" But Neliya--"

 

" Neo."

Neliya begged him, tears of higher form of emotion in her eyes.

" I can Save us."

And Neliya kissed Neo's wound, his darkened neck wound.

 

Neo, with tears also, clenched his fists, gnashed his teeth, and summoned his resolve. On the floor, Neo above Neliya below. he Grasped her up, and Hugged.

 

Neliya hugged back, both children entwined in embrace. They Hugged, Naked.

Behind them, the cliff, the Stars behind them two all shined. The sky, immobilized in frozen moment.

 

A Skylight,

 

Drew the sky half, behind them hugging, groping, naked children their witness.

 

A Skylight, on to the World.

 

New Light, New World.

All eyes see.

…

……..

Pain. Pain, Neo in pain, of Heart, of Soul Light, of Neliya's screams. Sheer shrieks of torment.

Neo pushed into the tent frenzy.

“ Nay, Neo, Nay !!” Cried Feira, her robe pure colored with light blood, the blood of Neliya.

“ But NELIYA--!!” Neliya cried in anger.

 

And Lo, Neliya reached a weak hand to Neo, her love of her life, and all let Neo through.

 

“ Neliya ?? What be this ?! What be this demon that bursts in you ?!”

 

“ Nay Demon, Neo." Neliya breathed, barely a say

“ Remember…our promise ?”

 

Neo remember.

“ You save us… you can save us, NELIYA !!!”

 

“ I…Have…” Neliya squeezed, the sweetest smile

“ I need…Your Trust…Your Faith…Your Love…Neo…Promise Me, Neo…Promise Me…”

 

And Neo wept, Hand in Hand, with Neliya

“ You have…my—NELIYA ?!?!?!?!?!”

But before Neo could finish his promise, a Light, Neliya's Light Burst, So Bright, All Out.

 

And Long after the Brightest of Light, Like a Star Break, it faded, Neliya's Light, was Gone.

 

“ Neliya ! ! ! ! !”

 

Neo cried out, just in time to hear her Last Whisper

“ —— Nia——”

In Feira's wet bloody arms, Gathered all the Light once was Neliya's, But Brighter.

 

A New, Born, Light.
