[Oh dear~🤭]

~~~~
Daichi's back was firmly pressed against the closed door, his lips captured in a long and passionate kiss that left him breathless, barely allowing a moment to come up for air.
After the main ceremony's conclusion earlier, Daichi had planned to offer his congratulations to the newlyweds and then seek out his lover. However, he was waylaid by family friends and acquaintances who hadn't seen him in ages and had much to catch up on, causing an unexpected delay.
Lost amidst the throng of guests, Daichi searched in vain for Kaito. Finally spotting him, he discovered his lover surrounded by friends and unfamiliar faces, making it difficult to approach.
But Daichi refused to let such trivial obstacles deter him, knowing that most of Kaito's friends were aware of their relationship. He resolved to join the group...
...only to be swarmed by more persistent family acquaintances, hindering his progress and causing him to lose sight of his target again.
This frustrating back-and-forth continued until Daichi almost gave up, planning to search for Kaito at the after-party once the majority of guests had settled.
However, it seemed Kaito had different plans.
Daichi couldn't fathom how the guy managed to find him, but the moment they finally made contact, he was whisked away and guided upstairs to a private lounge that Kaito mysteriously had a key to. There, without warning, he was mercilessly and passionately attacked.
The kiss was sudden and forceful, Daichi fearing his front teeth might collide. With his wrists firmly held in Kaito's large hands on either side of his head, he felt a delicious sense of helplessness.
Both men shared similar builds and statures, though Daichi fell slightly shorter than Kaito. But their strengths couldn't be comapred, as Daichi had always been confident that he was stronger than the other in most things.
Yet, when it came to matters of physical intimacy, Kaito exuded a dominance that Daichi found irresistibly enticing.
Like in this moment, for instance; Daichi was being overwhelmed by a relentless kiss, his hands immobilized, unable to move a muscle. With each passing second, his resistance weakened as Kaito's tongue teased and tasted him, wanting him.
Perhaps this was Kaito's way of releasing the pent-up frustrations from their six-month separation?
The room echoed with obscene wet sounds and ragged breaths, breaking the silence. Daichi's entire being grew heated as he listened intently.
He flinched when a sudden sharp pain shot through his lower lip, before Kaito finally showed a hint of leniency and broke the kiss, granting their lungs a respite.
"You bit me?" Daichi pointed out, his curiosity piqued. He could taste a hint of iron from the small wound. Was this some new kind of play?
Kaito's expression conveyed desire mixed with melancholy as he replied, "You showed up."
Daichi was even more bewildered. "Was I not supposed to?"
The younger man buried his face in the crook of Daichi's shoulder, seemingly in a sulking manner. "You should've said something first. I thought you weren't coming."
"Would you have been angry?" Daichi asked, searching for an answer.
Kaito responded with a few inaudible grunts, unable to provide a proper response.
Smiling, Daichi posed another question. "Then, are you glad I came?"
Releasing Daichi's wrists, Kaito pulled him into a proper warm embrace. "Very."
"Heh, then why did you bite me? Were you venting?" Daichi inquired, a playful tone in his voice.
Kaito didn't hesitate. "Yeah, I was. Why didn't you say anything these past two days?"
"It wouldn't have been much of a surprise if I did, don't you think?" Daichi chuckled.
Kaito's grip tightened around him, revealing the depth of his worry.
Daichi gently lifted Kaito's face with a hand, their eyes meeting. He spoke softly, "I knew how important this occasion was to you, so I had to make time for it. I'm sorry I didn't say it earlier; I didn't want to disappoint you."
Kaito's gaze lingered on Daichi's, and he asked, "How long are you staying?"
"I managed to scrape together ten days, for now."
Ten days. Kaito's gaze dropped, a trace of disappointment shadowing his expression. He mumbled, "It's better than nothing. I'm just glad you're here."
Despite the other person's remark, Daichi could discern his discontent. However, there was little he could do about it. The culmination of their two-year overseas project loomed ahead, ensuring that the upcoming months would be even busier until its completion.
Daichi released a sigh, his voice laced with resignation. "We should leave before others realize we're missing."
Kaito emitted a soft hum of acknowledgement but made no move to step back. Instead, his fingers reached for Daichi's tie, playfully toying with the fabric and gradually undoing the top buttons of his shirt.
The corners of Daichi's mouth twitched, disbelief etched on his face. "Are you serious right now?"
"Just this once," Kaito mumbled.
"Please tell me you're not planning to do it here."
Kaito shook his head, alleviating Daichi's concerns. However, the way he proceeded to unbutton the shirt was still a little concerning. Daichi had no clue what the guy was thinking.
With the top three buttons undone, Kaito initiated a trail of tender kisses along the other's neck.
Daichi summoned all his willpower to remain composed as his skin tingled under Kaito's touch. He had meetings and engagements to attend, and he couldn't afford to sport a conspicuous boner or revealing uestionable red blotches on his skin.
"Kaito, seriously..." Daichi's breath grew ragged. "Just... make sure it's not visible to anyone."
"I won't," Kaito continued his ministrations. His mischievous hands yearned to untuck Daichi's shirt from his pants but were promptly halted.
"Not here," Daichi admonished, reminding him of their surroundings. "Have you forgotten where we— Ah!"
His hand instinctively reached for the base of his neck, which had fallen prey to Kaito's playful nibbles. Daichi cast a disapproving glare at the culprit, who appeared rather pleased with himself.
"What's with the biting again?"
"No one will see," Kaito dutifully rebuttoned Daichi's shirt and meticulously fixed his tie, his lips curved in satisfaction. "There, all better."
**
After their clandestine rendezvous, the two men rejoined the lively crowd in the main hall, seamlessly blending in. They eventually reunited with the newlyweds and their families.
At a certain point, Kaito volunteered to fetch some drinks, temporarily separating from the group.
Observing his departure, Hanae, who sat closest to Daichi, nudged him playfully with a smile. "You know, that boy went the extra mile with his appearance today, knowing you would be here. I can't even remember the last time he wore a complete suit."
"It was an important day, after all," Daichi agreed. "He had to make an effort. Although it seems he's not particularly fond of it."
Hanae sighed sympathetically. "He doesn't realize how good he looks in it."
Indeed, he doesn't; Daichi mused while surreptitiously watching Kaito from a distance. His mind couldn't help but wander, conjuring up vividly lewd scenarios involving his lover in that snug tuxedo.
Not the time, not the place...
Hanae noticed Daichi's absent-minded gaze fixed on her son and a mischievous idea ignited in her mind. Seeing that everyone else was engrossed in cheerful conversations, she leaned in closer to Daichi, lowering her voice to a hushed tone, ensuring their conversation remained private.
"Just so you know, my husband and I will be leaving in half an hour. The party will likely go on late, but with the newlyweds gone, there won't be much reason to stay."
Daichi nodded, acknowledging her words. "Yes, but Kaito's friends will still be here. He probably won't want to leave so soon."
Hanae's smile cracked. Is he being serious?
Realizing that her point had failed to get through, she attempted once more. "I noticed earlier that the two of you slipped away. I imagine you had much to... discuss."
Only then did Daichi's mind snap to attention. For the first time, his typically stoic façade faltered, a faint blush tinging the edges of his ears. He knew he had been caught.
Shifting his gaze evasively, he cleared his throat. "Yes, well... It had been so long since we last saw each other."
"Indeed," Hanae noticed a small crease in his collar and gently smoothed it out, her calm expression betraying a knowing glimmer in her eyes. "And I'm sure you must be eager to discuss more, right?"
Daichi remained silent, but the deepening shade of his blush spoke volumes.
"Hey, what are you two whispering about over there?" Reina Nakano, ever observant, couldn't resist investigating their suspicious behavior.
"It's a secret, and I'm not telling," Hanae playfully stuck out her tongue, causing the older woman to huff in disapproval. Thankfully, Hanae sensed the imminent scolding and whisked her husband away to the dance floor, escaping Reina's wrath.
Shortly afterward, Kaito returned to find a red-faced Daichi, his face buried in his hand, leaving Kaito puzzled. Setting their beverages aside, Kaito was about to inquire when Daichi discreetly excused them from the group and pulled him away.
"What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?" Kaito felt Daichi's forehead, finding no signs of a fever. Daichi remained silent for a long while, his gaze fixed downward, until he finally mustered the courage to speak, borrowing Hanae's words. "Once the newlyweds leave, there won't be a reason for us to stick around."
Daichi's eyes met Kaito's, who's hand was still plastered onto his forehead.
Kaito found deep meaning within that gaze.
"Want to head home after that?"
**
Although Daichi's home was closer to the wedding venue, he disregarded it and drove straight to Kaito's place. Kaito's house was smaller and unremarkable, but it was precisely because of those things that Daichi preffered it to his own.
He simply found comfort in a place saturated with his lover's scent and essence.
That night, Daichi allowed his lover to unleash all the pent-up desire he'd held back for months. It was unfortunate that he came to question his own life choices soon afterwards, since Kaito wouldn't go easy on him despite his cries and pleas.
The sadistic twat seemed to be really enjoying how Daichi begged for mercy, actually.
It was only after what felt like an eternity, that the man surnamed Nakano was finally given relief.
Exhausted and sore, Daichi could barely tell what time it was. Had he not cleaned up and refreshed after his 'rounds' with Kaito, Daichi would have most likely remained listless the entire night.
Collapsed onto the bed, he still didn't intend on moving for quite some time though (or ever, really).
"Need anything? More water? Food?" Kaito, who had reverted to a decent human after literally violating his partner, asked while gently massaging Daichi's back.
Unlike Daichi, he appeared invigorated and satisfied, his face even radiating a subtle glow.
Daichi couldn't be angry with him. He had anticipated and welcomed it. There was no room for regret.
But he couldn't resist teasing Kaito.
"After what you did, you still have the nerve to ask after me?"
Kaito blushed slightly, feeling flustered. "I got a little carried away."
"Just a little?"
"Yeah."
"Aren't you sorry?"
Kaito shook his head resolutely. "No. And I'll probably do it again in the future."
This punk. Daichi turned his face away in feigned anger. "I should probably stay away from you then."
However, his thoughtless remark earned him a disapproving pinch on the waist.
"Hey, hey, no pinching!" Daichi tried to squirm away but immediately regretted it when a sharp pain shot through his back.
Okay, maybe he did have a tiny bit of regret. Kaito hadn't shown an ounce of mercy!
In the end, Daichi could only resort to using his arm to try and push the other person away. "I won't say anything else, so stop pinching me."
Although Kaito ceased his assault, he took Daichi's cool palm and gently pressed it against his face, murmuring softly, "I really like you."
Daichi tensed for a moment, but a gentle warmth blossomed in his eyes as he witnessed the other person tenderly nuzzling his open palm in the soft twilight.
It was during times like these that Daichi's heart would skip a beat, causing him to truly understand the depth of his love for this person.
"Kaito, want to get married?" he blurted out.
Kaito's eyes widened, round and surprised, questioning whether he had heard correctly. But Daichi's sincere expression erased any doubt from his mind.
Struggling to believe what he was hearing, Kaito cautiously asked, "What... did you say?"
"Let's get married. Is that okay?"
"Is this... a proposal?"
Daichi appeared genuinely taken aback. "Is it? It just felt like a suggestion in my mind, and..."
"Yes," Kaito interjected sharply, cutting off the other's explanation, knowing that prolonging the moment might ruin its magic. He pulled Daichi into a tight embrace, his eyes welling up. "Let's get married, Daichi."
To be honest, the idea of marriage had merely crossed Daichi's mind in passing.
Observing Hanae and Hansuke reveling in their own official union, he'd thought: Maybe having something like this with Kaito wouldn't be so bad.
Although same-sex marriages weren't recognized in Japan, it didn't mean they weren't recognized elsewhere. And who knew, maybe the future held the promise of change.
Once he finished his relentless overseas project, they would find the perfect time to hold the ceremony. Maybe even consider adopting a brat or two, if Kaito wanted that as well.
Ignoring the persistent pain shooting through his back, Daichi wrapped his arms around Kaito's waist, seeking solace in their embrace. He actually felt a little fluffy inside...
Well, until he felt a familiar, heated hardness pressing against his cool skin. His mind was instantly thrown into chaos.
No way... I didn't even do anything!
He strategically chose to ignore the offensive rod.
Kaito seemed to have caught onto his tactics and let out a distressed groan.
"No way," Daichi declared firmly.
Kaito obediently fell silent, but his little 'friend' below showed no signs of relenting.
"Haven't we already settled accounts?" Daichi voiced his disbelief. "Why are you hard again?"
Kaito's flushed face drooped in shame. "It's your fault for suddenly suggesting something sweet."
"Good to know. I won't suggest it anymore, then."
"NO!" Kaito quickly objected, burying his face in the crook of Daichi's shoulder. "It's my fault. I'm sorry."
Daichi couldn't possibly handle another round in his current state. He simply couldn't!
No matter how much Kaito pleaded and tears welled up in his eyes, he wouldn't give in.
Even if he himself started to feel the heat rise and respond to that tantalizing weapon, he wouldn't give in.
He really wouldn't...
"FUCK!" Daichi seized Kaito's face, lips crashing against his in a passionate kiss. His resolve had once again been tossed to the dogs.
Kaito enthusiastically accepted the invitation, flipping his lover onto his back and whispering against his lips, "I love you."
"I know," Daichi murmured, his arms encircling Kaito's neck, drawing him closer as their lips found each other once more. "I love you too."
It was going to be a long night.
But even as Daichi anticipated waking up completely crippled in the morning, he knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life in the arms of this man.
