As I watched the spell make contact and observed the girl's body contort in agony, my instincts compelled me to retrieve my wand and provide aid. However, my concerns of exposing my cover caused me to hesitate, ultimately giving someone else the opportunity to act before me. Their wand produced a striking crimson spell that sent Draco hurtling across the room. Although the charm was recognizable as a "Stunning" spell, the intensity of the impact was unnerving. Once I recognized the identity of the caster, I was taken aback. Despite being a Veela, her appearance was distinctly different from any I had seen before, surpassing the beauty of Bella, Narcissa, and Lily. Her dominating presence and impressive power captivated my attention, but my fixation was interrupted when a stout gentleman approached her, speaking rapidly in French.

The woman disregarded her husband, speaking with him in low whispers, and instead knelt down to administer healing spells to the injured Veela.

"Chérie, tu vas bien ?"(Honey, are you okay?)

With an alluring voice, she inquired of the girl who lay on the ground, convulsing mildly. After regaining some composure, the girl responded, "Oui...oui, Dame Delacour," confirming the woman's identity as the matriarch of the Delacour family and spouse of Jean Delacour. While her appearance was not explicitly described in canon, it was apparent that she was truly beautiful. While surveying the area, I noticed a young woman bearing a resemblance to her walking towards her, her face riddled with concern. This must have been Fleur, the third champion in the Triwizard Tournament, who later married the eldest Weasley. In my research of influential families, I learned that the Delacours were a well-known and powerful family connected to the Minister and perceived as progressive due to their stance on the heir's marriage to a Veela. Nevertheless, some opposed the union, claiming that the Veela had entrapped the heir.

As I scanned the crowd once more, I noticed Narcissa making her way through the throngs of people towards her son who had been hurled across the room. Her worry was palpable, yet Lucius remained impassive, though I could discern the shock, betrayal, and underlying anger etched on his features. However, he was not directing his anger towards the maid or Apolline for harming his son, but rather at the boy himself, who was now bearing the brunt of his ire. This situation was not entirely planned, but it had succeeded. Despite this, I felt a twinge of guilt and believed that I should compensate the injured girl. As I scanned the crowd, I sensed someone staring in my direction. Turning to locate the source of the gaze, I identified Elliot, whose expression was difficult to discern. In response, I simply raised an eyebrow. Meanwhile, the Aurors who had been present for security purposes had arrived on the scene.

Elliot received the signal and shouted in French, "Arrêtez le gars pour l'utilisation illégale d'une baguette illégale et en avoir une illégale et surtout, blesser un citoyen français par la malédiction impardonnable," meaning "Arrest the guy for the illegal use of an illegal wand, possession of an illegal wand, and most importantly, for injuring a French citizen with the Unforgivable Curse."

Narcissa appeared taken aback, as if she were about to say something, but before she could speak, Lucius approached her. He strode forward and placed his hand on her shoulder, gently squeezing it. Narcissa looked at him, her expression a mix of shock and betrayal at how he appeared to be indifferent towards their son and allowed the Aurors to take him away.

As the aurors took Draco away, he appeared silent but shocked. The stunning spell had likely dispelled any effects of the drug that may have been lingering in his mind. Despite this, he did glance back at his parents before departing with the aurors. As soon as they left, conversations erupted among the onlookers regarding the recent events. The Malfoys left the area without lingering, in pursuit of their son. Meanwhile, Elliot and the other maids carefully tended to the injured veela and took her away. I returned to my table and ordered another drink.

I knew better than to assume that Malfoy would let this go unpunished. He would know that he had been targeted and that the individual responsible was likely related to Elliot. The only thing he wouldn't know was that it was me. He would seek revenge after making a deal to secure his son's release. It was almost certain that Draco would be freed. After all, he was the son of a noble, whereas the veela was merely an ordinary citizen. However, Malfoy's reputation would undoubtedly be tarnished in the eyes of the British wizarding community.
