Once they reached the shore, they found Luffy sleeping at an awkward angle at the bottom of a cliff, after waking him up he told them about the plan he and Usopp overhead involving Kaya’s butler who was really a pirate Captain named Kuro and the hypnotist Jango. The plan involved Kuro’s pirate fleet invading the island, having Jango hypnotize Kaya into writing a will leaving everything to her butler and then killing her after.

“That’s terrible!” the boys shouted, after hearing everything.

“I guess you were right about there being something off about the butler.” Nami said looking at him. “I guess that’s why your captain run off to warn the villagers.”

“Huh, yeah we should do the same.” The boys shouted before running off.

“Oh! No, we need to stock up on meat before the shop closes!” Luffy cried out.

“That’s not important.” Zoro said, poking Luffy in the back of the head with his katana

Gohan closed his eye and tried to focus on sensing if he could find the pirates, but he still seemed to be having trouble sensing things because it took him a while but when he felt the energy of the people on the island, they didn’t seem to be moving, “Well this is bad.” he said, opening his eyes.

“What’s wrong?” Nami asked.

“It seems like no one is leaving.” Gohan answered.

“What do you mean?” Zoro asked, looking up.

“The energy of the people on the island aren’t moving in any direction. It seems like no one is leaving.” Gohan said looking at them.

“How is that possible?” Nami asked.

“I don’t know.” Gohan answered shrugging his shoulders.

“Let’s go talk to Usopp and see what happened.” Luffy said standing up.

They agreed since there was nothing else to do, they eventually found Usopp as the sun was starting to set, they found him walking towards holding his bleeding wrist, “…how are you still alive!?” Usopp cried out when he saw Luffy with them.

“…Alive? I just woke up.” Luffy answered confused.

“Why is no one leaving?” Gohan asked.

“How do…Let’s go somewhere else.” Usopp said, leading them back towards the shore they came from.

“Sure.” Luffy said, with a nod, as they followed him.

“…they don’t believe me.” Usopp said, sitting down on a rock with a sigh once they reached the shore.

“Why not?” Nami asked.

“It’s because I lie every day about pirates coming and, now no one will believe me when it really is happening.” Usopp explained.

“Just like the boy who cried wolf.” Gohan said looking at Usopp.

“…the boy who what?” Nami asked.

“The boy who cried wolf.” Gohan said noticing that no one knew what he was talking about, “…it’s a fable my mom read to me once, it’s about a shepherd boy living in a small village who cries out that a wolf is attacking his flock and when the villagers come to help, he laughs and tells them that he fooled them. The boy does this a few more times until one day a real wolf comes and attacks his flock but when he cries out for help no one comes because they think it’s just another lie. The fable ends with the flock and the boy being eaten by the wolf.”

“…huh, yeah it’s exactly like that.” Usopp said with a sad chuckle. “…But since everyone already thinks I’m a liar, I’ll do everything I can to protect the village. That way they think it’s just another one of my lies. I love this village and I want to protect everyone in it.” He said standing up with determination.

“You’re not that bad of a guy.” Zoro said with a smirk.

“I’ll help.” Gohan said, smiling at him.

“Us too.” Luffy said, looking at Zoro who nodded.

“Oh, in that case I call dips on all their treasure.” Nami said pinching her fingers.

“Y-you’re going to help me?” Usopp asked looking up at them with tears in his eyes, “Why?”

“It’s the right thing to do.” Gohan said.

“You’re outnumbered.” Luffy said, cracking his fist.

“You’re scared out of your mind.” Zoro added.

“…I’m not scared…who told you that.” Usopp said as his legs started shaking. He looked down at his legs and hit them with his fist, “Fine I’m scared but of course I will be its Captain Kuro’s men. If you’re helping me because you feel sorry for me than don’t, I don’t need your sympathy.”

“We’re not sympathizing for you. We’re helping because you’re honorable.” Zoro said looking at Usopp.

“Do you think we would risk our lives for pity.” Luffy said looking at him.

“…you…guys…I’m so touched.” Usopp said tears rolling down his face.

“They’re not that bad.” Gohan thought looking at Luffy and Zoro, “Alright so what’s the plan?”

“They’re going to attack from this shore because it’s the only way into the village as long as we defend this slope no one will be harmed. With the cliffs on the side funneling them, it should make it easier to defend. We can put some oil on the slope making it harder for them to climb up.” Usopp explained.

“That’s pretty smart.” Zoro said nodding his head.

“Yeah, sure but it all depends on all our strengths. What are you guys good at?” Usopp asked.

“I cut things.” Zoro said, placing a hand on his katanas.

“I stretch.” Luffy said, holding his bicep.

“I steal.” Nami said.

“…I punch.” Gohan said, trying to keep things simple and not mention Ki yet.

“Great, I’m good at hiding.” Usopp said, turning around.

“You’re fighting too.” Luffy, Zoro, and Nami yelled.

“It was a joke.” Usopp said as Luffy pulled him into a headlock.

They headed back to the town and grabbed a few barrels of oil and carried it back towards the shore, to prepare for the pirates, “I have an idea.” Gohan said, placing down the barrels of oil he was carrying.

“What is it?” Usopp asked.

“Why don’t I blow the ship up, when it shows up.” Gohan said.

“B-blow it up!?” How would you do that?” Usopp asked, in surprise.

“He can shoot lasers!” Luffy said grinning.

“…this isn’t the time for jokes.” Usopp said shaking his head.

“He’s not joking.” Nami and Zoro said.

“…what really!?” Usopp asked, turning to look at him.

“It’s not really lasers, but yeah.” Gohan said forming a small ki blast in his hand and destroying a small rock nearby. “I can make them a lot bigger but, I held back for obvious reasons.”

Usopp looked between Gohan and the rock in shock blinking his eyes repeatedly, “…how can you do that is it a Devil Fruit like Luffy.”

“No, it’s something different, which I’ll explain later if you want.” Gohan said.

“Y-yeah sure, that’s fine.” Usopp said nodding his head slowly, “…I’m sorry but I don’t think I feel comfortable with that.”

“Yeah, I don’t want that, I want to fight!” Luffy said, punching his palm.

“If you do that then I won’t be able to get their treasure.” Nami said.

“…that’s fine.” Gohan said shrugging, “It’s fine, I know that not everyone is comfortable with killing.”

“…y-you’ve killed before?” Usopp asked, looking at him nervously.

“Only when absolutely necessary.” Gohan answered, sitting down, and closing his eyes.

“W-what are you doing?” Usopp asked.

“Mediating, to kill time.” Gohan answered keeping his eyes closed.

“W-when is it necessary to kill?” Usopp asked someone, in a whisper.

“If you have to ask then you’ve never been in that situation.” Zoro answered, “Pray that you never encounter that type of situation.” He said, before walking over to sit next to him.

“…I-ok.” Usopp said.

While mediating Gohan stretched his senses to see if he could find the pirates before they landed but he still couldn’t sense much. The only person he could sense properly was Luffy because his energy was different than everyone else’s, which he knew was because of his Devil Fruit. “Damn it, what’s wrong, why am I having trouble sensing things…things have been off ever since I’ve arrived in this world.”

Gohan shook his head, took a deep breath, and resumed his meditation, after a while he opened his eyes when he felt the rising sun, warm his face, he saw Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, and Nami all waiting around, staring out towards the sea, “Shouldn’t we be able to see…” he started saying only to stop when a message appeared.

(Task: Stop The Black Cat Pirates. Reward: Power Pole Manipulation.)

This message was followed by him suddenly sensing a large group of energies appearing on the northside of the island, “What is it, Gohan?” Nami asked, seeing him stand up and look in the opposite direction.

“They’ve landed on the northside!” Gohan informed them.

“WHAT! I forgot about that!” Usopp cried out, holding his face in his hands. “I thought since they met here, they would land here. What are we going to do!?”

“I’ll take care of them.” Gohan answered, “I’ll try and leave some for you.” He added looking at Luffy and Zoro before taking off.

(Nami)

Nami watched in awe as Gohan took off producing a strong gust of wind that pushed her and the others back a bit, “No way am I letting Gohan have all the fun.” Luffy said, running after him.

Usopp stood there for a few seconds looking like he was debating something before he took off running as well, without a word.

“My Treasure!” She screamed remembering, “…Ahh!” She suddenly screamed, having slipped on the oil they had used earlier, she grabbed the sheath of Zoro’s katanas.

“H-hey what are you doing!?” Zoro yelled, as he started slipping back.

“Sorry.” Nami said, pulling him down and using him as a steppingstone to get back on solid ground, “Sorry but my treasure is in danger.” She apologized to Zoro before running off, “They better not have touched my treasure if they know what’s good for them!”

It didn’t take her too long to reach the north slope, seeing Usopp standing there alone looking down at something, “Usopp where’s…” she started asking only to see Gohan standing in the middle of at least 30 pirates who were all on the ground defeated. She also noticed Jango standing at a distance watching Gohan in what looked like shock.

“Hey guys.” Gohan said, turning to wave at them.

“D-did you beat them all by yourself?” Usopp asked.

“Yeah, but they were all weak, I didn’t even break a sweat.” Gohan said, placing his red pole away, and walking towards them. “Where’s Luffy and Zoro?”

Nami wasn’t sure if it was a trick of the light or because she couldn’t believe that one man had taken out 30 pirates all by himself, but she could have sworn that she saw the red pole glow before shrinking. One thing she did notice was that he was telling the truth he wasn’t sweating or even look out of breath, “H-how did you beat them all?” she asked.

“Like I told you when we first met, I’m pretty strong.” Gohan said, with a smile.

“Hey, that’s not fair you didn’t leave any for us?” Luffy said, panting as he arrived alongside Zoro.

“You guys were too slow.” Gohan said grinning. “Plus, these guys were too weak.”

“H-hey, you guys need to get up we can’t be wasting time anymore time here.” Jango said, drawing their attention to him. “Or did you forget that this is Kuro’s plan.”

“B-but he’s a monster, Captain.” One of the pirates said, struggling to get up.

“Y-yeah one man defeated all of us.” Another one said.

“Huh, I must have held back too much.” Gohan muttered staring down at them.

“If he’s stronger than you than you must become just as strong.” Jango said, taking out his pendulum, “Look here, after I say One, Two, Jango your wounds will heal, and you will be much stronger than before.”

“I-is he trying to hypnotize them?” Gohan asked.

“It looks like it.” Nami said.

“That’s absurd.” Zoro said shaking his head.

“One, Two, Jango!” Jango said tilting his hat down to cover his eyes.

“Looks like he found away to overcome his own weakness.” Gohan said, as the pirates started standing up and roaring.

“No, way did that actually work!?” Nami exclaimed, as one of the pirates punched a cliff causing it to come crumpling down.

“How did they get so strong!?” Zoro asked in shock.

“Go kill them all!” Jango shouted pointing at them. The pirates answered in a yell and started rushing up the slope.

“You two go and find some cover while we handle them.” Zoro said to Nami and Usopp, “Gohan sit this one out, you already got to fight now it’s our turn.”

“…Sure, that’s fine with me.” Gohan said, jumping back, to land next to them.

“I’ll provide covering fire.” Usopp said taking out his slingshot.

“…That’s fine.” Zoro said, “Ready Luffy?”

Luffy didn’t answer for a few seconds which worried her, before he yelled out loud, “You got hypnotized too!” She yelled in shock.

“I can’t believe he got hypnotized.” Usopp said shaking his head as Luffy started running towards the rushing pirates.

“Luffy what are you doing!?” Zoro yelled after him.

“Gum-Gum…Gattling Gun!” Luffy shouted as he started punching the pirates knocking them all back, he then proceeded to continue charging down the slope towards the pirates’ ship, where he grabbed the cat figure head and pulled it off the ship. Luffy looked like he was trying to crush them all with it.

“Help us, Captain!” the pirates yelled, as they tried to run away.

“You’ll fall asleep once I say One, Two, Jango!” Jango shouted quickly making Luffy fall asleep, causing the figurehead to come crashing down, on top of him and taking out the revied pirates.

“Is he going to be, ok?” Usopp asked.

“Yeah, remember he’s a rubber person.” Nami answered, shaking her head.

“There are two people coming out of the ship.” Gohan said, looking up at the ship.

“Hey, Buchi come look our figure head is missing!” one voice said.

“Oh, yeah I wonder what happened?” another voice said.

“Come down Nyaban Brothers!” Jango shouted, making two figures jump off the deck of the ship and landed next to Jango. One was a large man with white cat claws, and the other was a skinny looking one with grey cat claws.

“Zoro you need a hand?” Gohan asked, placing a hand on his red pole.

“No, you sit this one out, you and Luffy already got to fight I haven’t.” Zoro said, staring at the two new people.

“…alright but I’ll step in if you need it.” Gohan said, looking at him.

“…that won’t be necessary, against these small fries.” Zoro said, grinning.

“If you say so, come on let’s give him some space.” Gohan said, turning to her and Usopp.

“R-right.” Nami and Usopp said, moving out of the way.

“Sham, Buchi we need to get pass but they’re blocking our way, go destroy them.” Jango said pointing at them.

“B-but captain they look really strong, do we have to go?” they asked.

“Sham go now!” Jango shouted.

“I…ok here I go!” Sham shouted running towards Zoro, in an awkward manner, while crying.

“What is he doing?” Nami asked.

“If you don’t turn back now, I’ll attack you!” Zoro shouted.

Sham then reached Zoro attacking him and making him block with his katana, before jumping away, “That’s pretty impressive.” Gohan said from beside her.

“What do you mean?” Nami asked.

“Look.” Gohan said pointing at Sham who had Zoro’s other two katanas on his back.

“W-what, how did he do that?” Nami asked.

“Give them back!” Zoro said glaring at Sham.

“Why should I you already have one in your hand.” Sham said grinning at Zoro, “Now before we begin, I should get rid of these things right.” He said, throwing Zoro’s other two katanas away.

“You shouldn’t treat other people’s things with such disrespect!” Zoro said, charging towards Sham, cutting him as he ran past and tried to get his katanas.

“Sorry to burst your bubble but I have a slim waist!” Sham said, appearing on Zoro’s back and grabbing both of his arms, holding them. “Buchi go now!”

“Cat Technique…” Buchi shouted jumping high into the air, “Buchi’s… Drop Kick!”

“Aren’t you going to help!?” Nami cried out, turning to Gohan.

Gohan’s reply was cut off by Buchi, landing with a loud boom, cracking the ground where Zoro was a minute ago, “He’s really powerful!” Usopp said from beside her.

“You should have held him down better.” Buchi said looking at Sham.

“Sorry he managed to overpower me.” Sham said, “But no matter let’s get him!”

“Right, let’s Go.” Buchi shouted as they charged towards Zoro and started attacking him together leaving him no room to counterattack.

“Zoro can’t handle both! Aren’t you going to help!?” She asked, turning to Gohan.

“…yeah, while I do that go find a way to wake Luffy up.” Gohan said, his eyes glancing behind them.

“W-what why?” Nami asked.

“We’re about to have company.” Gohan said, vanishing before she could ask what he meant.

“…Where did he go??” Nami asked, seeing that he didn’t go help Zoro.

“T-there!” Usopp pointed towards Gohan who had picked up Zoro’s katanas and was staring at where Zoro was fighting.

“…Look out!” Nami shouted as Jango tried to attack Gohan from behind, but her warning was for nothing because Gohan stepped to the side and drove his elbow into Jango’s stomach making him drop to the ground holding his stomach.

“What the hell is going on here!” someone shouted, she turned, saw that Zoro’s fight had stopped, and it was because Kuro had arrived, and he was angry.

(Gohan)

“I never expected that Black Cat Pirates to be defeated by a bunch of kids.” Kuro said shaking his head, “Even my Vice Captain has failed. At least the two of you aren’t as useless as the others. Hurry up and deal with this trash before I kill you.” He added staring at the cat brothers.

“D-don’t look down on us!” Buchi said glaring at Kuro.

“That’s right, while you’ve been playing butler, we’ve been getting stronger attacking villages and sinking ships.” Sham said glaring at Kuro as well.

“We aren’t going to be killed by you for some stupid reason!” Buchi shouted as they rushed past Zoro.

“You’re no longer our Captain, we’ll just kill you first!” Sham shouted as they tried to attack Kuro.

“He’s fast.” Gohan muttered seeing Kuro sidestep their attack while opening the bag he was carrying and taking out two gloves with long knives on each of the fingers.

“Who are you going to kill?” Kuro asked appearing behind them, arms draped around their shoulders with his thumbs pointed at each of the brother’s necks drawing blood. “I’ll give you five minutes, if you can’t win in those five minutes, I’m killing everyone here.”

“I-I don’t want to die!” the pirates that Luffy took out shouted, having woken up sometime.

“We just have to beat those two!” Buchi said sweating as he pointed at Gohan and Zoro.

“Y-yeah, they’re the strongest ones here!” Sham said, nodding.

“Y-yeah, once we beat them, we can get up this slope!” another pirate added.

“Zoro catch!” Gohan shouted, throwing his katanas at him.

“Thanks!” Zoro shouted, catching them.

“Having two extra swords won’t make a difference!” the brothers shouted, charging towards Zoro, once Kuro let them go.

Zoro placed one katana in his mouth, and the other two behind it, “Tiger…Hunt!” Zoro shouted, slashing down, taking the brothers out.

“W-what he took them out with one slash!” the pirates said shocked.

“…what a disappointment.” Kuro sighed, “Seems like The Black Cat pirates’ standards have fallen.”

“Don’t worry you’ll join them soon.” Zoro said pointing a katana at Kuro.

“You guys have four minutes.” Kuro said, ignoring Zoro.

“Hey what are is she doing?” the pirates asked.

Gohan turned around and saw Nami, had made her way towards sleeping Luffy, “She’s going to wake him up, we got to stop her. There’s no way we can beat the three of them.”

“If you guys want to get beat again, I have no problem with that but this time I won’t hold back as much this time.” Gohan said taking out the Power Pole. This made the pirates stop and look at him in fear remembering how he quickly beat them all with it earlier.

“Thanks.” Nami said, as she reached Luffy where she proceeded to punch him, “Wake up!”

“Ow!! That hurt!” Luffy said sitting up and rubbing his cheek. “What did you do that for!?”

“You almost slept through the entire fight, but we left the boss for you.” Gohan said pointing at Kuro.

“Oh! hey the evil butler is here too, when did he get here?” Luffy asked, standing up, and turning around to look at him.

“…while you were taking a nap.” Nami said, shaking her head.

“…Straw Hat?” Kuro said looking at him. “I wonder how you are still alive after falling off that cliff.”

“I ate the Gum-Gum Fruit. Now I’m a rubber man.” Luffy said, stretching his cheek to show.

“Interesting…” Kuro said, before turning to look at Usopp. “I never suspected that you would hinder my plans Usopp.”

“I…I couldn’t let you harm Kaya or the villagers.” Usopp said, standing up looking at him.

“Yes, that was my mistake, I should have killed you earlier…but I’ll rectify that now.” Kuro said, with a smirk.

“Klahadore stop it!” Kaya shouted from behind him, sweat on her forehead, looking tired.

“K-kaya what are you doing here!?” Usopp yelled, running to her.

“I-isn’t that who we have to kill, now we don’t have to go to the village we can just kill her now.” The pirates said, but they shut up after Gohan hit the ground with the Power Pole cracking it.

“Hmm, what are you doing here?” Kuro asked.

“Merry told me everything.” Kaya said, panting.

“Oh, he lived that’s surprising, considering that I didn’t hold back when I attacked him.” Kuro said, staring at her.

“Kaya it isn’t safe for you here, run.” Usopp said stepping in front of her.

“U-Usopp, I’m sorry I didn’t believe you.” Kaya said.

“That doesn’t matter, these pirates are after you, you need to run!” Usopp said.

“I-I can’t while you are risking your life for me and the village.” Kaya said shaking her head. “…Klahadore I’ll give you all my money, all you have to do is leave this village!”

“…I don’t just want your money I also want peace of mind, which I will have once you are dead but not before you leave everything to me in your will.” Kuro said. “I suffered all those years serving you just so I can kill you today.” He finished with a grin.

“You bastard!” Usopp shouted, rushing towards Kuro trying to punch him, but missing and falling.

Kuro appeared behind Usopp ready to attack him but was stopped by Luffy stretching out his arm and punching Kuro in the face knocking him back. “Oh, no you don’t.” Luffy said as his arm snapped back.

Suddenly the three boys came rushing from somewhere and started beating Kuro with a pan, a shovel, and a bat, “No stop it!” Usopp yelled from where he fell on the ground after trying to attack Kuro.

Kuro sat up, adjusted his glasses but the lenses broke completely, he got up and walked past the kids and kicked Usopp sending him sliding down the slope, “I’m killing you first rubber man, then you, and you…” He said pointing at Zoro, and then at Gohan, “Then, I’ll kill the kids and Kaya, in front of you and then I’ll kill you, Usopp.” He said glaring down at him.

“You’ll have to beat me first.” Luffy said walking towards Kuro.

“We should move out of the way.” Zoro said, putting away his katana, then helping Usopp up and walking towards Kaya and the kids.

Kuro let Zoro pass, letting out a sigh, “…before we begin, I want to ask you a question.” He said looking at Luffy.

“Ok.” Luffy said, as Zoro, Usopp, Kaya and the kids moved to the top of the cliff where they could watch the fight safely, since they refused to leave.

“You have no ties to this village so why are you getting involved in it’s affairs?” Kuro asked.

“I have a friend in this Village. A friend that I don’t want to see die.” Luffy answered, making Usopp smile.

“Will you be ok dying for such a simple reason?” Kuro asked.

“It’s fine because, I don’t plan on dying.” Luffy answered, with a smile.

“No one plans on dying they just do!” Kuro shouted running towards Luffy.

“Nope.” Luffy said, stretching out his arms to grab Kuro by his wrists, and jumping into the air preparing to kick him.

Kuro countered by crossing his arms causing Luffy to fall to the ground as his arms snapped back to him, he then used one arm to brace himself, “Gum-Gum Leg Sweeper!” he shouted sweeping his leg under Kuro who jumped into the air to avoid the attack. “Pistol!” he shouted after getting back to his feet, but Kuro dodged that attack too.

“I’m getting sleepy.” Kuro said, appearing on Luffy’s outstretched arm. Then he started running towards Luffy as his arm started snapping back, Kuro proceeded to kick Luffy in the face sending him flying down the slope.

“Damn.” Luffy said sitting up and spitting out blood.

“That’s our Captain Kuro!” the pirates shouted excitedly. “You can do it, Kill him.”

“Stop calling me that!” Kuro angrily shouted at his men. “None of you seem to understand, the real purpose of this plan.”

“This entire plan was put into place so that the name Captain Kuro will be eliminated forever. I’ve grown tired of making plan after plan for you morons, that’s why I decided to kill myself three years ago.” Kuro said.

Kuro then went on to explain how he hypnotized a marine that he had left alive on purpose after killing everyone else on the ship, he hypnotize the marine into believing that he had captured him. When it was really a member of his crew who was hypnotized into thinking that he was Captain Kuro, they were then executed by the marines, making everyone think that Captain Kuro had died.

“My plan will be completed once I finally achieve peace and wealth. It’s the only reason I’ve spent the last three years of my life on this plan. That’s why it can’t fail…I will not be stopped by the likes of you!” Kuro shouted as he charged towards Luffy with his Knives outstretched.

Luffy stretched out his arms and picked up a large piece of rock that had fallen from Buchi’s earlier attack and used it to block Kuro’s attack which surprised him. Luffy then went on to break the Cat Claws as his crew called them, “You said that you’re sick and tired of being chased? That you’re afraid of your name being known? Then how can you call yourself a pirate!?” Luffy exclaimed using the same rock to knock Kuro into the ground.

“My dreams are far greater than your plans!” Luffy said with a grin.

“…that guy broke Captain Kuro’s claws!” The pirates shouted in shock.

“Don’t worry Captain Kuro. You still have one Cat Claw left!” one shouted.

“Yeah, kill him with that Captain Kuro!” another one shouted.

“Shut up!!” Kuro shouted as he got up. “Once I kill this rubber boy, all of you are next, including Jango.”

“Wait why do we have to die!?” they asked.

“The plan can still work; we’ll wake Jango so he can make the girl write the will, and while he does that, we can attack the village.” One of them said.

“Yeah, we don’t even have to go that far she’s right there!” another one said, pointing at where Kaya was watching the fight.

“No, as long as I leave your corpses here, I can place the blame on you.” Kuro said. “I was never planning on letting any of you leave alive. I can’t have anyone that knows the truth of my past live.”

“You bastard!” a voice shouted as something went flying towards Kuro who dodged at the last second.

“Ah, you’re awake Jango.” Kuro said, looking down at Jango who had gotten back to his feet.

“Hmm, I thought he would have been out longer.” Gohan said glancing at him, from where he had taken a seat on top of the ship to watch the fight.

“I see you’re still as deadly as ever with those blades.” Kuro said as a cut appeared on his cheek.

“So, this was your plan all along, to kill us all?” Jango asked, angrily.

“…I see no point in lying, now that you know.” Kuro said, “Yes, I was going to kill you once you had Kaya write her will.”

“And what makes you think I’ll still go along with your plan, knowing that you plan to kill me once my part is done.” Jango scoffed.

“You will if you know what’s good for you.” Kuro said glaring at him.

“…NO!” Jango said shaking his head.

“No!?” Kuro repeated, staring at Jango like he couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

“Yes, you heard me, I said No!” Jango said again with a little more confidence, “I won’t help, not if it means our death in the end.”

“…fine, I guess I don’t really need you, I’ll just take care of all of you now.” Kuro said, as his body started swaying back in forth in a sideways manner.

“T-the Shakushi!” Jango said fear in his voice.

“Are we safe over here?” one of the pirates asked in fear.

“He was telling the truth; he plans to kill us all!” another one shouted.

“Everyone get away!” Jango shouted.

 “What are they talking about?” Usopp asked.

“Shakushi!” Kuro said as he vanished, with purple clouds flowing away from where he was standing.

“What… Look Out!” Gohan shouted, from where he was sitting.

Just as yelled the pirates on the ground started yelling as they started being cut up, “…what’s going on!?” Kaya asked in fear, hands over her mouth as more and more pirates started being cut.

“What’s happening!?” Nami asked, coming out of the ship with a small bag of what he suspected was treasure.

“He seems to be moving at a speed that’s too fast for him to tell who or what he’s attacking.” Gohan said, as scratches appeared on the rocks nearby, and on the ground.

“Captain Kuro! Please stop!” they shouted, as they fell one by one.

“Everyone try your best to avoid it or hide!” Jango shouted, just before he got cut down too.

“Luffy Look Out!” Gohan shouted, just as Luffy got cut a few times.

“…Don’t You Have Any Honor!” Luffy shouted, “These Men Are Your Friends!”

“…Luffy!” Nami muttered quietly.

“Luffy, on your right!” Gohan shouted.

Luffy quickly reached out with his hand, grabbing Kuro, and slammed him into the ground. “Thanks!” he said.

“…you should have just let me cut all of you to pieces.” Kuro said, getting back up, “Look what you’ve done, most of my crew is now half dead or in a lot of pain.”

“I swear to never become a pirate like you!” Luffy said, cracking his knuckles.

“Don’t worry you won’t, because you’ll die here today.” Kuro said as he began to sway back and forth again.

“No, you don’t!” Luffy said, stretching out his arms and legs and wrapping them around Kuro’s own arm and legs, then he stretched his head all the way back, “Gum-Gum…Bell!”

“Looks like it’s all over.” Gohan said, seeing Kuro get knocked out.

“H-he defeated Captain Kuro!” the pirates said in shock.

“W-who are you?” Jango said, getting back up, with some help, holding his bleeding chest.

“My Name Is Monkey D. Luffy. There’s no way I would lose to a coward who gave up his name and ran from the sea. The only time a pirate should give up on his name is when he dies.” Luffy said, standing over Kuro.

“L…Luffy, I’ve never heard of that name.” the other pirates said.

“Well, you better remember it, because…I’m going to be King of The Pirates!” Luffy said grinning. “Now leave and don’t forget to take this guy with you!” he said, picking up Kuro and tossing him towards the pirates.

Nobody caught Kuro after Luffy tossed him, “W-what do we do Captain?” they asked, looking at Jango as they gathered around the unconscious Kuro with complicated looks.

“…tie him up, we’ll deal with him once we leave.” Jango said, staring down at Kuro, “Gather our wounded and let’s leave.”

Gohan motioned for Nami to grab hold so he could fly them off the ship, while the pirates tied Kuro up and picked up their injured crewmates, then they boarded their ship, and left, once they were no longer in sight Gohan received a notification.

After the pirates had left, Gohan, and the others were sitting around as Usopp talked with Kaya and the kids, “I want to ask you guys a favor.” Usopp said looking at them.

“What is it, Captain?” “Of course, Usopp.” They spoke.

“Don’t tell anyone about this.” Usopp said looking at them. “Keep what happened here a secret.”

“But why Captain?” the kids asked.

“Usopp, we need to clear up the misunderstanding.” Kaya said.

“…I don’t want to cause anyone to worry, something like this won’t happen again. I want the villagers to continue living their lives in peace, let them think it was just another one of my lies.” Usopp said smiling.

“…Of course/Captain.” They all said, nodding.

“Good, now you guys go ahead, I need to talk with these guys a little.” Usopp said.

“You got it Captain.” “Of, Course Usopp.” They spoke.

“You’re not that bad.” Gohan said, chuckling, watching the four of them head back.

“Thank You!” Usopp said, “I don’t want to imagine what would have happened if you guys didn’t help. Even if in the end I really didn’t do much.”

“I wouldn’t have helped if you hadn’t taken a stand.” Zoro said.

“Me too.” Luffy said from the ground.

“I don’t care, I got all their treasure.” Nami said grinning while hugging the treasure she took.

“I would have helped anyway.” Gohan said shrugging, “It’s how I was raised, to help those in need.” He explained when everyone looked at him.

“Well, thank you anyway.” Usopp said again, “These events have helped me come to a decision I’ve been putting off for a while…”
