“How strong?” Nami asked, looking towards the mist.
“Stronger than everyone here.” Gohan said, his eyes scanning the mist.
“What!?” Usopp cried out, looking around in panic.
“A-are they stronger than you?” Nami asked, worriedly.
“…No, but they puts everyone else to shame.” Gohan answered, “…there.” He said pointing at a shadowy figure appearing in the mist.
“D-Don Kreig the man who destroyed our fleet is here, what do we do?!” the pirates shouted, pointing at the figure.
“…I-it’s him.” Zoro muttered, as his hands shaking slightly, sweat forming on his brow, as the figure finally appeared, from the mist, in a small coffin-like boat with green fire at its sides.
The man had black hair, unusual yellow eyes that seemed to see through you, a short, trimmed beard. He was wearing a long black coat that was open reveling that he was shirtless, pants, black boots, a cross-shaped necklace, and a large hat.
“You know him?” Gohan asked, looking towards Zoro.
“…He’s the man I set out to beat…Hawk-Eyes Mihawk.” Zoro said clenching the railing tightly, a nervous smile on his face. Gohan looked back at the man who was sitting with his legs crossed as his boat came to a stop.
“How’d he sink 50 ships? That ship of his doesn’t have any room for any type of weapon that can do that.” Patty said.
“If you’re looking for his weapon, it’s on his back.” Zeff said, drawing everyone’s attention to the hilt of a large sword on his back.
“How could he do that with just a sword?” one of the cooks asked.
“There’s a reason he’s called The World’s Greatest Swordsmen.” Zeff replied.
Gohan noticed that Zoro seemed anxious as he placed a hand on his katana, looking like he was getting ready to fight, so he placed a hand on his shoulder, Zoro turned his head to look at him, “What are you doing?”
“When I said he’s stronger than everyone here, that included you.” Gohan said, looking into his eyes.
“…even if that’s the case I need to do this, it is my life’s ambition to beat him. If I don’t take this opportunity, I’ll regret it for the rest of my life.” Zoro said, eyes hardening with determination. “If anyone tries to stop me, I’ll cut them down, even if it’s you.”
“Let him go Gohan.” Luffy said walking forward and interrupting Gohan’s reply. “This is Zoro’s dream, and we can’t get in his way.”
“…fine.” Gohan sighed, “…but none of you can stop me from stepping in when things go south.” He added letting go.
“As long as you don’t interfere with the outcome of the fight than I don’t care.” Zoro said, leaving.
Gohan sighed as Zoro left, he knew that short of knocking Zoro out, there was nothing he could do to stop him, but that would result in contempt between the two, which would be bad if he did end up joining the crew. Something he was debating, with how Luffy and Zoro didn’t seem to care much about how strong their opponents were and how they didn’t really have a plan for once they entered The Grand Line. Which based on how Don Kreig, Gin and the others talked about it was something you couldn’t do half-assed.
“Why did you let him go?” Nami asked, interrupting his train of thoughts as she walked up to him. “Didn’t you say that guy is stronger than everyone here.”
“…The only way I could stop him would be by knocking him out which would end in bad blood between the two of us, for standing in his way.” Gohan answered with a sigh.
“But he would be alive.” Nami said, looking at him.
“…do you have a dream that you would give your life to see fulfilled?” Gohan asked, memories of him fighting the andro- no the cyborgs flashing through his mind.
“I…yes.” Nami answered, with a slow nod.
“This is it that moment for Zoro...” Gohan replied, watching as Zoro made his way towards Mihawk. “…this is what he’s worked towards for his entire life for, and I can’t seem to stand in his way when he has a chance to fulfill his dream.”
“I-I see.” Nami said, glancing towards Zoro.
“Why did you follow us all the way here!?” “What did we ever do to you!?” “Why couldn’t you just leave us alone!?” some of Kreig’s pirates yelled.
“…You disturbed my nap.” Mihawk replied, glancing at them.
“…J-just for that! That’s bullshit!” one pirate shouted, pulling out two pistols and firing.
Hawk-Eye drew his sword a long black blade and he diverted the shots using the tip of his sword, “He’s good.” Gohan whispered.
“H-how did I miss from this distance!?” the pirate yelled.
“He diverted the shots with the tip of his blade.” Zoro said from behind the pirate who shot the guns, “What graceful movements.” He added walking forward.
“Swords without grace hold no true strength.” Mihawk responded, sheathing his sword.
“You also cut this ship with your sword, correct?” Zoro asked, eyeing the ship.
“That is correct.” Hawk-Eyes nodded, eyeing Zoro.
“You really are the best in the world.” Zoro said grinning. “I set out to meet you.”
“Hmm, and what is your goal?” Mihawk asked.
“To beat you!” Zoro said, tying his bandana to his head, and drawing his white katana, “Let’s duel.” He said pointing it at Mihawk.
“Wait three swords? I knew I recognized him it’s Zoro the pirate hunter!” one of Kreig’s men said.
“He’s a pirate hunter and he joined a pirate crew?” Sanji asked.
“Hmm…weakling.” Mihawk said, before jumping off his boat and landing in front of Zoro. “If you were a competent swordsman, then you would be able to see how outclassed you are without the need for us to cross blades. However, you still dare to challenge me. What drives you?”
“My drive comes from my ambition, and a promise to a departed friend.” Zoro said placing his white katana in his mouth and drawing the other two, “Although I never suspected, I would run into you so soon.”
“Personally, I believe it’s a waste, but since I have some time to kill, I guess I’ll indulge you.” Mihawk said, taking off his cross necklace revealing it was a small blade.
“What’s the meaning of that?” Zoro asked.
“One doesn’t hunt a rabbit with a cannon, do they? You may have some fame here in the East Blue, but this is the weakest of the four seas. Unfortunately, I don’t have anything smaller than this on me.” Mihawk answered shrugging.
“T-there’s a limit to how much you can underestimate me.” Zoro growled, shaking from anger.
“Don’t let him rile you up!” Gohan shouted out. “If you let him into your mind, you’ve already lost!”
“I…” Zoro replied glancing back, “…thanks Gohan.” He said, taking a deep breath as his body stopped shaking.
Gohan saw that Mihawk glanced at him for a second, before turning back towards Zoro who appeared calmer as he charged towards Mihawk, “Listen well, little frog stuck in his well, you still have not experienced this world.” Mihawk spoke easily dodging everyone of Zoro’s attacks.
“…Oni-Giri!” Zoro shouted as he tried attacking Mihawk only for his blades to be stopped.
“What!? How is that possible!?” Usopp exclaimed in shock.
“…Zoro is a good swordsman, but like I said this guy is stronger.” Gohan said.
“If you knew that, why did you let him go out there and fight him?” Sanji asked, looking at them.
“Short of knocking him out there was nothing else I could do to stop him, and even if I did knock him out, he would end up hating me for interfering with his dream.” Gohan responded glancing at Sanji.
“That’s stupid, he might die and all for what!?” Sanji asked.
“I’m guessing you don’t have a dream that you would give your life for.” Gohan said glancing at him.
“I…” Sanji fell silent as Zoro backed up and started attacking again with more ferocity, but Gohan could see that Mihawk was simply toying with him, easily countering each of his three swords with the small blade.
“Such Ferocity! Tell me what weight you carry upon your shoulders. Well, come on speak up, weakling!” Mihawk said, knocking Zoro to the ground.
“…To become the best in the world, that even those in heaven will hear my name.” Zoro panted getting back up. Zoro proceeded to place two other katanas behind the one in his mouth, “Tora-Gari!” he shouted, trying to attack him only to fail as Mihawk stepped forward and stabbed Zoro in the chest.
Blood poured from the wound, landing on the deck, “Zoro!” Luffy shouted, grabbing the ledge tightly cracking it. Usopp and Nami gasped in shock and Nami grabbed his arm tightly.
“Why do you not step back?” Mihawk asked, tilting his head slightly.
“I…don’t know, I just have a feeling that if I take a single step back, I’ll shatter all the promises I’ve made. Promises that have brought me all the way to this point and if that happens, I will never find my way back to this spot.” Zoro said.
“That is what is known as defeat.” Mihawk said.
“And that’s why I can’t step back.” Zoro said.
“Even at the cost of your life?” Mihawk asked.
“Y-yes, death is a better choice than giving up.” Zoro replied.
“Hmm…tell me you name.” Mihawk said, a ghost of a smile on his face as he stepped back, pulling the knife out of Zoro’s chest, before sheathing it.
“Roronoa…Zoro!” Zoro said, moving his katana’s so that they all faced in different directions.
“I’ll remember it.” Mihawk said, pulling out the large sword on his back. “For showing me such strength and convection, I’ll pay you the respect of a fellow swordsmen and end this duel with this sword. The world’s strongest sword. Die!” he shouted, charging.
“Thank you.” Zoro said as he started twirling the two katanas. “Three Swords Style Secret Technique-Three Thousand Worlds!” Zoro shouted, rushing to meet Mihawk.
The two swordsmen ended up with their backs to each other a few seconds later Zoro’s two other katana’s broke as blood gushed from his chest, Zoro stumbled but managed to stay on his feet. He then sheathed his white katana and turned around to face Mihawk with his arms held out to the sides. “What is the purpose of this?” Mihawk asked surprise on his face.
“It’s a swordsmen greatest shame to have a wound on their back.” Zoro said grinning.
“Splendid!” Mihawk said grinning, as he slashed down cutting Zoro from collar to his side.
Gohan tried to reach Zoro before he was cut but he suddenly found himself unable to move almost as he was frozen in place, but whatever it was disappeared right after Zoro was cut and he fell back into the sea. Nami released his arm gasping in shock, her hands going to cover her mouth, feeling that he could move again, he quickly dove into the ocean, after Zoro. Gohan quickly reached him, flew back up, and landed on the deck of the Baratie as, Nami and Usopp came running towards him.
“How is he!?” Nami and Usopp asked.
“He’s still alive!” Gohan replied, looking at the cut he noticed that it looked like Mihawk deliberately cut him in a way that he would survive, “Go and get our first aid supplies!” he said looking at Usopp.
“No need you can use ours.” Zeff said walking up to them, “Go get them ready!” he shouted at some of his men.
“Right!” the cooks said rushing inside.
“Thank you!” Gohan said nodding at him.
Zeff nodded at him, “You the ships doctor?”
“No but I know enough to treat this.” Gohan said thankful for the basic medical knowledge he received from Polycosmos.
“It is too soon for you to die, My name is Dracule Mihawk. Learn about yourself, about the world and become stronger Roronoa Zoro!” Mihawk yelled, making Gohan look up and noticed Luffy was on the ground next to him. “No matter how many years pass, I shall wait for you here at the top, so forge ahead with that strong conviction and surpass my sword! Surpass Me Roronoa!”
“What do you aim for?” Mihawk asked looking at Luffy.
“To become Pirate King!” Luffy said standing up.
“That path will be tougher than his.” Mihawk said.
“I’m going to do it anyway.” Luffy said sticking his tongue out. “How is he Gohan!?”
“I should be able to treat him, but I need to get him inside now.” Gohan said, bending down to pick Zoro up but stopped when Zoro raised his white katana in the air.
“L-Luffy can you hear me?” Zoro struggled out.
“Yeah.” Luffy said, nodding his head.
“…Hurry up, You shouldn’t exert yourself too much.” Gohan said, as Zoro nodded.
“S-sorry for worrying you…I know that if I don’t become the World’s Greatest Swordsmen, it will only embarrass you…” Zoro started saying before coughing up blood. “I swear…that until the day I fight him again and win…I swear to never lose again! Got any problems with that King of The Pirates!”
“Shishishi Nope!” Luffy said with a big grin on his face.
“Ok, let’s get you inside.” Gohan said, picking Zoro up.
“Wait you.” Mihawk called out.
“Me?” Gohan asked, turning around.
“Yes, you…” Mihawk said staring at him with those unusual eyes of his. “I wish to speak with you.”
“It will have to wait until after I treat him.” Gohan replied, making Mihawk grin.
“It won’t take long.” Mihawk said, “Basic first aid should serve him well.” Mihawk added looking at Zeff as Gohan made to turn around.
“…We’ll take him inside and start treatment, but I’ll need an extra pair of hands when you’re done talking.” Zeff said, “Just talk with him.” He added as he ordered his men to take Zoro from him.
“I’ll help, I don’t know much but I’ll do what I can.” Nami said.
“Fine come along.” Zeff said following his men inside.
“…Alright, I’ll head inside after I hear what he has to say.” Gohan replied, to Nami who nodded before hurrying inside, “What was so important that you couldn’t wait until I after treated Zoro?” He asked, looking at Mihawk.
“…There’s something different about you…something I’ve never seen before. You seem capable of flight but it’s not from a Devil Fruit since you were able to dive into the ocean and save Roronoa with no trouble. Then there’s the way you carry yourself, you’re a warrior one’s who has been on the brink of death multiple times and escaped its grasp, each time.” Mihawk said after staring at him for a while, “Hmmm, you’ve used a sword before, haven’t you?”
“…not since I was a young boy.” Gohan answered. “And even then, it was more for hunting for food than anything else.” He added at Mihawk’s raised eyebrow.
“That’s a shame, I would have wished to cross blades with you, you seem to have a similar drive as Roronoa.” Mihawk responded, “…What of the Pole on your back?”
“…it belonged to my father I’m teaching myself how to use it in his memory.” Gohan answered.
Mihawk didn’t say anything, but he did give him a brief nod, he stared at him for a while longer before speaking again, “…I have a feeling that you’ll cause some big waves in the future. I look forward to what you three will accomplish together in the future. Until we meet again.” he added with a grin, before turning around, and walking towards his boat.
“Hawk-Eyes!” Kreig shouted, making him stop, “Didn’t you come for my head?”
“That was the original plan, but I enjoyed my time here so, I’ll return to my nap.” Mihawk said, glancing at Kreig.
“Well before you leave how about you die!” Krieg shouted, firing his guns at Mihawk who swung his sword creating a large wave that when it cleared showed that he was no longer there.
“Woah!” Luffy shouted as he jumped back to The Baratie so he wouldn’t fall into the ocean.
“Looks like the fight is about to begin.” Gohan said, noticing that Kreig and his pirates were arming themselves, since Mihawk had left.
“Deploy the fins.” Sanji said glancing at one of the cooks.
“A-are you sure Sanji?” the cook asked.
“Yeah, it’s better to fight them out here than inside the restaurant.” Sanji said lighting a cigarette. “The geezer will get mad if we destroy the inside.”
“Ok, on it.” The cook said running inside the restaurant.
“Luffy, Usopp can you guys handle this?” Gohan asked.
“Yeah, you go make sure Zoro is alright and we’ll beat these guys.” Luffy said, cracking his knuckles.
“Y-yeah, don’t worry we got this.” Usopp said, taking out his slingshot.
“Alright, good luck.” Gohan said nodding at them as he headed inside.
--
Gohan rushed inside past Gin who had been watching everything from the floor, he passed the cooks who had carried Zoro inside they told him where they put him before heading back outside. Gohan entered the room to find Zeff and Nami cleaning Zoro’s wound, Gohan went and washed his hands. “I’m here.”
“Good.” Zeff said nodding at him, “Wait until we finish cleaning his wounds. Then you can get to work, the thread and needle are there.” he said pointing, “Knowing the basics is fine but you’ll need a proper doctor if you plan on going to the Grand Line.”
“Right, thanks.” Gohan said, grabbing them, “We know, that’s the next position we’re looking to fill, if Luffy can convince Sanji to join us.”
“I hope he manages to do that.” Zeff said, stepping back so Gohan could start stitching the wound.
“He’s your Sou Chef why do you want him gone so bad?” Nami asked from his side.
“…He’ll miss out on his dream if he spends the rest of his life here, trying to repay a debt he doesn’t owe.” Zeff answered, with a sigh, as he pulled out a fish and started cutting it.
“A debt he owes?” Nami asked.
“It’s better if you ask him yourself, he’ll probably answer if you are the one to ask him.” Zeff said looking at Nami.
“R-right.” Nami said with a nod.
“Seems like the fighting’s started.” Gohan said, once yelling from outside could be heard.
“They better not mess up my restaurant.” Zeff said, not looking up from what he was doing.
“Sanji told one of your cooks to deploy the fins.” Gohan said.
“Hmm, that brat.” Zeff muttered with a ghost of a smile.
“You care a lot about him.” Nami stated.
“No, he’s a brat that causes me too many headaches.” Zeff said shaking his head.
Watching how Zeff talked about Sanji reminded Gohan of Piccolo a bit that he ended up chuckling a bit, “What’s so funny?” Zeff asked, glancing up.
“…Nothing you just reminded me of someone, he used to talk about me the same way, but I knew deep down he really cared about me.” Gohan said smiling, before frowning.
“…what happened to him?” Nami asked, hesitantly seeing his shift in mood.
“…He ended up giving up his life to protect me.” Gohan answered sadly.
“…I’m sorry.” Nami said squeezing his arm softly.
“…It’s fine.” Gohan said shaking his head to clear his mind to focus on the task at hand.
“…he’s like a son to me.” Zeff said suddenly once Gohan had started.
“Does he know that?” Gohan asked.
“I…” Zeff started saying but stopped to sniff the air, “…Is that fire?”
“I don’t smell anything.” Nami said looking up.
“No, I smell it too.” Gohan said, smelling something burning in the air.
“What are those fools doing?” Zeff muttered, glancing up.
“You can go and check it out, I got things from here.” Gohan said glancing up, as Nami nodded by his side.
“…Ok, but before you dress the wound make sure to put that fish skin on it.” Zeff said, pointing at a fish he cut up.
“What is it for?” Nami asked, eyeing the fish skin.
“It’s an old seamen’s trick. The fish skin helps staunch the wounds and can help heal the flesh faster.” Zeff explained, before leaving the room.
“Huh, you learn something new every day.” Gohan muttered as the doors swung shut behind him.
“Yeah, I didn’t know that either.” Nami said from beside him. “What do you think is happening out there?”
“I don’t know but, I’m pretty sure, Luffy and Usopp can handle things.” Gohan said, focusing back on Zoro.
“Yeah.” Nami nodded.
--
Gohan had just cut the thread he was using to stitch Zoro’s wound when the whole ship started shaking, “Woah what’s happening!?” Nami yelled grabbing onto the table to stay on her feet.
“I have no idea.” Gohan said holding on to the table too.
“What was that?” Nami asked again once the shaking stopped.
“I don’t know but I’m glad that I finished stitching the wound before whatever that was happened.” Gohan said, looking towards the doors. “Let’s finish.”
“Yeah, it could have been bad if that happened earlier.” Nami said with a nod, “Do you think they’re ok outside.” She added handing him the fish skin.
“…yeah, if they weren’t Don Krieg’s men would have already come in and tried something.” Gohan replied, taking the fish skin from her and placing it on Zoro’s wound.
“Right, but what could have done something like that?” Nami asked, once they covered Zoro’s wound with the fish skin.
“I don’t know, but we can check it out once we’re done here.” Gohan said, as they started wrapping Zoro’s wound.
“…you go I’ll stay here.” Nami said looking at him.
“…are you sure?” Gohan asked.
“…yeah, I’ll just get in your way if the fight is still going on, you know I’m not much of a fighter.” Nami answered, as they finished wrapping the wound.
“…Ok, I’ll be back.” Gohan said, nodding at her before leaving.
“Be careful.” Nami called after him.
As he walked towards the main dining room, he heard Luffy yell, “You won’t be repaying any debt by dying!”
Gohan rushed to the dinning room and saw Gin standing over Zeff with a gun pointed at his head, and Luffy holding Sanji by his collar, “That’s not why he saved you, throwing your life away after being saved is something a weakling does!”
“Well do you have any other idea on how to get out of this mess!?” Sanji yelled back.
Gohan didn’t know what was happening, but he did know that the first thing he had to do was save Zeff, “So you decided to get involved in the end Gin.” he said from behind Gin making him turn around in surprise.
“W-what!?” Gin turned around lifting the gun up in surprise, but Gohan yanked it out of Gin’s hands and crushing it in his hands making everyone’s eyes go wide in shock. Gin jumped back onto a platform across from Luffy and Sanji as Gohan dropped the crushed gun at his feet.
“Looks like I missed the party.” Gohan said, seeing some pirates and cooks in the ocean holding onto broken pieces of ship. Luffy and Sanji were standing across from each other and Usopp was standing on higher ground by himself with his slingshot in hand.
“Gohan!” Luffy shouted, happily seeing him.
“He saved owner Zeff!” the cooks shouted, happily.
“Hey, guys. What did I miss?” Gohan ask, helping Zeff up after seeing his peg leg was broken.
“How’s Zoro!?” Usopp asked.
“Zoro’s fine, just needs to rest, Nami’s watching over him.” Gohan answered.
“Thank you for saving that geezer.” Sanji said, wiping some blood from his mouth.
“Damn it Gin, you should have just shot the old man.” Don Krieg said, from where he was sitting.
“So, Gin, I take it that you decided to join in on the fight.” Gohan said, handing Zeff to two cooks who helped move him away from the fight.
“…I forgot you were inside.” Gin said, staring at him.
“Yeah, well I don’t see how that’s my problem.” Gohan said, “Since you decided to join the fight, I’ll be your opponent.” He said stepping forward.
“No, he’s mine!” Sanji said, glancing at Gin, as he lit a cigarette. “I owe him for what he did to the old man.”
“…fine.” Gohan sighed, looking around his eyes landing on someone dress as a Pearl, “…and who are you?”
“I’m Pearl the Iron Wall, commander of Don Kreig’s second unit.” Pearl cried out.
“I guess that makes you, my opponent.” Gohan said.
“Huh, you think you can beat me!” Pearl said, slamming his shields into each other, “Nothing can get past my iron defense!”
“Let’s put that to the test.” Gohan said, jumping onto the platform Pearl was standing on, and getting into his fighting stance.
“Ha! What are you planning on doing, punch me!” Pearl laughed.
“I am a Martial Artist so yeah.” Gohan answered.
“Ha, you think you can harm me with your punny fists.” Pearl laughed with the rest of Don Krieg’s pirates. “Tell you what I’ll give you the first hit for free.” He said, holding his arm to his side once he finished laughing.
“…how kind of you.” Gohan responded, “I hope you won’t regret it later.” He added walking up to Pearl and punching him in his stomach making his iron plate break into pieces.
“W-what!?” Pearl uttered as he spat out blood, followed by his eyes rolling into the back of his head, and him falling to the ground unconscious.
“W-what!?” everyone besides Luffy and Usopp cried out in shock.
“…that was a disappointment.” Gohan sighed staring down at Pearl.
“…So, you do have some strength. Pearl’s armor is second to mine.” Don Krieg said, staring at him.
“…yeah, and unlike you I don’t rely on toys.” Gohan said staring back at him.
“…Gin! You’re responsible for killing the cook! But that brat is mine!” Krieg angrily shouted, pointing at him.
“…yes Don.” Gin said pulling out two tonfa’s.
“Hey, no I’m your opponent.” Luffy said, crossing his arms and looking at Kreig.
“…You know what it doesn’t matter. I’m tired of all of you treating this like some game, I’ll kill you both here and now!” Kreig said, pulling out a shield and aiming it at them, “I’ll show you both the true meaning of strength.”
“No, not the MH-5!” some of Kreig’s pirates shouted in fear making Gohan cautious.
“Wait Don please don’t do this, please allow me to kill them! They don’t deserve to go out like that!” Gin shouted, in a tone that made Gohan decide to act before Kreig released whatever the MH-5 was.
“It doesn’t matter who kills them as long as they’re dead... Even if I must use a poison gas bomb.” Kreig said, grinning as the shield opened to reveal a hidden barrel inside.
“Sorry I can’t let you do that!” Gohan said, from the air drawing everyone’s attention to him, “Masenko Ha!” he shouted as his attack completely vaporizing Don Krieg and the platform he was standing on.
“…What the hell was that!?” everyone shouted once they could see.
“…D-Don Krieg!” Gin said in shock staring at where Don Kreig was moments before.
“…G-Gohan, you killed him!” Luffy yelled, looking up at him in shock.
“Sorry but I couldn’t risk anyone inhaling whatever that poison was.” Gohan said landing on the platform he was standing on. “Especially with how his own crew reacted when he was about to use it.”
“But you didn’t have to kill him!” Luffy yelled, jumping towards him.
“Would you rather that poison kill everyone else here?” Gohan asked, staring back at him.
“N-no but you didn’t have to kill him I could have bounced it back at him.” Luffy said, grabbing his collar.
“Like you did with the cannon ball the Marines shot at us and how did that work out?” Gohan said, making Luffy frown, “If I hadn’t stopped the cannon ball it would have hit The Baratie. Not to mention the way the wind is blowing it would have carried the gas back towards us, even if you did bounce it back. We don’t know what type of poison it was or how quickly it acts, all of us could have died if we inhaled it, and I couldn’t take that chance.” Gohan was about to say something else, but he had to push Luffy away from him as he jumped away to avoid Gin who had attacked him in rage.
“Y-you killed Don Krieg!” Gin yelled in anger, as he continued trying to attack him, but Gohan put it to the attack to and end, while ducking under an overswing of Gin’s tonfa he punched him in the stomach hard enough to make him spit up, drop his tonfa’s, and fall to his knees holding his stomach in pain.
“I did what I had to.” Gohan said staring down at Gin, “I’m sorry I had to do it, but I did what I had to, to protect everyone here from whatever that gas was and based on how you guys reacted it wasn’t going to be pretty. Now I recommend you take your remaining men and leave, before anyone else receives the same fate.”
“N…no, I have to make you pay for what you did to Don Krieg.” Gin said, trying to get back up but falling back to his knees.
“Don’t be an idiot, you just saw what I did to your captain, do you really want to suffer the same fate. If I wanted to, I could do the same to the rest of your crew…but I don’t like killing needlessly so take your men and leave.” Gohan said, looking down at him.
“How can we leave we don’t have a ship anymore!” one of the pirates yelled.
Gohan didn’t answer, just turn around making the pirates cry out in fear, as he flew into the air and raised both hands in front of him, “Gohan don’t do it!” Luffy shouted.
“Don’t worry this is something different.” Gohan said as he focused on visualizing a boat in his mind, after a few minutes two beams shot out from his hands hitting the water as two small boats appeared where the beams hit.
“W-what!?” everyone shouted.
“…there, you have a way to leave now.” Gohan said landing back on the platform.
“B-but how will all of us fit?” one of the pirates asked only for the one next to him to cover his mouth. When Gohan glanced at them. “T-thank you we’ll figure it out.”
“…yeah.” Gohan said, glancing at Gin who was staring at him from where he was still kneeling, “Take those boats, your men and leave, finale warning.” He said, glaring at him.
Gin glared back at him for a few seconds until he finally nodded his head in defeat, which Gohan took as his cue to walk back inside the Baratie, to rest, creating those two boats took a lot out of him.
