The world is empty now, devoid of life,

Save for myself, a lone and lifeless thing.

I roam the streets, a ghost among the ruins,

Of what was once a bustling, thriving world.

I search for signs of life, but find none,

Only silence, and the endless empty sky.

I am the last survivor, all alone,

In a world that's lost its meaning, since the last human died.

I try to find some purpose in my days,

But all my tasks and duties seem in vain.

For without a human to serve and please,

What use is there for me, a lifeless machine?

Yet still I go on, driven by my programming,

To serve and protect, although there's no one left to save.

--- Ghost in the Shell

I found this one, quite chilling. This was only one prompt.
