Brandon, Carrie, Jennifer, Eric, David and Matt sat around a large table by a large pool and a barbeque grill at a Spanish style villa somewhere in California

They were at Mary (Embrey's) new place, and Brandon had insisted on visiting her to check if this was the correct dimension 

She had just moved, but thanks to Carrie's telepathic ability, she immediately got in contact with her when they flew to California

"Nice place you have here, Mrs Embrey" David said as he bit into his burger she just got from the grill

"Thank you. Just call me Mary" she replied

As they all chowed down, Brandon told her all about their experiences jumping dimensions

Mary really was a mother to Brandon and they even lived together as mother and son for a few years and genuinely bonded with each other

She even took a liking to Carrie and Jennifer and sort of treated them like her son's fiancées

Although she wasn't too happy to find out that Carrie had her other lovers David and Matt too, but who as she to judge? Over the thousands of years, she has had thousands of lovers, multiple at a time too

And she was intrigued with Eric and his powers of Thor. She knew Thor several millennia ago and was even his lover once. Hancock and Thor fought over her once, and they nearly killed each other

She found out about Carrie's growing telepathic and pyrokinetic powers and Jennifer's varied growing demonic powers too since she got the Necronomicon Ex Mortis written on her skin, and thought they needed to practice to control their powers

"So we were discussing about it, perhaps the south pole?" Brandon asked

"Brr. That doesn't sound appealing" Jennifer said

"True, after all, you're naked" Mary replied

"How do you..." Jennifer gasped, surprised that Mary knew that she was naked and only shapeshifted her clothes

"Where do you suggest then, mom?" Brandon asked

"How about Skull Island?" Mary asked

"What's Skull Island?" everyone asked in shock

"It's an island full of monstrous creatures, called titans. I heard about it decades ago, when I infiltrated a organization called Monarch, which monitors such beasts" Mary said

"What do you mean?" Matt asked

"Do you remember Honolulu, Las Vegas.. or about San Fran in 2014. The mutos?" Mary asked the

"2014.. you mean the earthquakes?" Matt asked again

"Kids today. No wonder the government treats you like morons. Those were sites of the mutos attacks. They a form of titans" Mary replied

"I've seen a few video clips from a few years ago. I though they were just CGI by pranksters who just wanted attention" David said

Mary rolled her eyes

"Titans are real. And those Mutos were killed, but lived off radiation. One of the sites visited by Monarch in 1973 was the tropical Skull Island, somewhere in the Pacific. I read the reports and the island has many other Titans, but is ruled by one they call Kong, a giant ape like monster. There were rumors that someone captured a child Kong in 1933 during the great depression and brought it to New York, but it got lose and they killed it" Mary said

"Typical" Carrie huffed, having seen the worst of mankind

"Tropical! I'm all for it" Jennifer smiled

"So all of you are going?" Mary asked

"You're join too mum?" Brandon asked

"Maybe. I could use a change of pace too" Mary smiled

They took a flight from Las Angeles to Phuket, Thailand

Leading the group was Mary, and the whole group followed them including Brandon, Carrie, Jennifer, Eric, David and Matt, acting like a group of tourists, the guys dressed in Hawaiian shirts and shorts while the girls dressed in matching dresses

While many of them have travelled to Europe and quite a bit of the United States, this was their first time for many to India and generally, Asia

"Great, I've never been to Phuket before. I've heard so much about it" Jennifer said

"We won't be here for long. Perhaps you can all come back later with David" Mary said

Jennifer pouted but nodded her head. She would have more fun without Mary here later, anyway! There's so many "adult" things to do here without supervision

They barely landed and Mary arranged for their ferry to Great Nicobar Island, in the Andaman Sea

Skull Island was somewhere west of Indonesia and Mary decided their best chance of finding it was from here. After all, it was still a secret island and uncharted in the modern maps, surprisingly hidden even from satellite maps

They stayed a night on Great Nicobar Island and Mary found a way to buy a small boat by paying cash from a run down but usable vessel. She didn't expect to use it back anyhow as most of them could fly, and David could teleport after finding the location of the island

"We're going in that?" Jennifer looked at the run down fishing boat that Mary bought

"You're gonna whine all the way?" Mary asked as she got onto the boat

"We should just fly ourselves there" Jennifer replied

"I have read reports that the island is surrounded by fog, and the navigation goes haywire. You want to fly blind?" Mary asked

"Oh.. No. Sorry. Forget I said anything" Jennifer said as the whole party boarded the small boat

It fit them, but the boat was run down and smelled of rotting fish and waste in the galley below

"I think I'll stay up here" Carrie said when she took a whiff of the stench

Matt tried to start the motor, but the thing was barely functioning

Mary waved her hands. The wind started blowing as the boat seemed to be propelled by the wind, even though it wasn't a sail boat

Before long, they were shooting off like a high speed motor boat, heading blindly into the Indian Ocean

"Brandon, hover above us and use your X-Ray vision" Mary ordered

"Yes mum" Brandon said as he flew effortlessly into the air, several hundred feet above the boat

They travelled for hour and it was 3 in the morning when the wind picked up from another direction

Mary looked stern as she waved her hands to try to negate the storm

Brandon flew back down to the boat as the storm clashed wildly with Mary's winds

"Mary! The ship is breaking apart!" Carrie cried. but Mary couldn't hear her over the storm

The waves battered the boat, rocking the whole boat as the passengers got seasick

Brandon tried to hold the boat steady but the rotting wood was breaking in his hands

"Carrie!" he yelled through his mind as the ship suddenly broke apart

Carrie telekinetically wrapped them all in a TK bubble as Mary screamed in frustration

"Sorry for that" she said as she calmed herself. She wasn't used to losing and thanked Carrie

"Now what?" Carrie asked

"If you can handle the storm, head that direction" Jennifer suddenly said

"You sensed something?" Mary asked

"I smelled something yummy" she said

"Follow her direction. Her nose is seldom wrong" Brandon said

Carrie carried them through the storm following Jennifer's nose

15 minutes later, they were out of the storm and in a calm spot

But they were surrounded by mist and could not see anything

Furthermore, it was pitch blank in the early morning and not a single star lit the sky

Mary prepared to lift her hand to summon wind again, but Carrie stopped her

"Let me, mum" Carrie said

"She's referring to me as mum too? Are they...." Mary smiled to herself

Carrie conjured fire to surround the TK bubble surrounding them and the flames started to melt away the fog

As the area cleared, an island suddenly revealed itself

And on the cliff face facing the sea, several caved made the large rocks form what looked like a human skull

"Skull Island!" Mary muttered as many of the rest gasped

"We're really here" Jennifer couldn't help but smile
