*Whoosh*

Wind flows through the passage we just came from, and forward, we walk. Not forward, but to the left, which is good in its own way since I sure am curious about what's around these corners.

It is - the time of day- around 8 A.M, and it isn't too bustling but not too empty, either. Reminds me of going to a city's park when it isn't a holiday of sort.

"*grunts* 37 push-ups... ". Figure of a woman going for an exercise first things first while strengthening their arms and chest muscles not far from us two.

Speaking of city parks, going around to our left instead of the front that makes us view the clouds, there is seen some people that makes out for morning exercises while being bathed in sunlight, and it delights me as a fitness-enthusiast myself.

I am now seeing a miniature park with some people rehabilitating around the greeneries.

Most are normal people who's just wanting to get better, some with nurses that guides patients, and there's the bunch that makes out some noise like the one just now... Though, some wear clothes that's too tight from both gender parties, not sure if that's on purpose or just carelessness. Arousing, to be sure...

"Here are your servings of 1 Drake-meat Burger and 1 cup of Cold Crystal Tea, sir. We thank you for your patronage!". A woman with mild blue hat and apron and sees off a customer from one of the many stalls around here.

Turning around a corner, the path seems to only stretch further beyond my limit, and there's some food courts that serves new menus that I definitely won't get in my former world... This year, I finally cracked open the mysteries on how to chew a meat: Having teeth, and mine grows out to be a little sharp, having the fangs to be somehow longer than what I'd like it to be. 'Now that I think of it, I kind of have a crave for some meat because of it...*gulp*'

Garvin: "Want to try one?"

His breath is close to my ears, shivers my skin a little before him. 'Damn, am I that much of an open bookʼ¹, you old man?'

He moves his eyebrows up and down, waiting... and waiting...

Me: "... Yeah, I want one!". Just had some thought to myself, might as well speak my desires out loud, especially to parents as they are guaranteed to know whether you told truth... or lies...

Garvin: "Do we, now? Heh...". As he chuckle about, I follow him towards the one with burgers as its main dishes.

The woman greets us with a slight bow, before typing things to some touch-screen monitor out of our view and viewable just from the other side... MY side...

Cashier Employee: "Good to see you again, Sir Garvin! What would it be for today?"

The big old man glances at me, as if he had some plans for me... Suspicious.

Garvin: "Ahem. Ah, if you would please show the menus to us two?"

The woman does the thinking pose, does she not realize there's the other customer just down here at the other side?

Cashier Employee: "Two of- oh! Just a moment..."

*Fwip*

A monitor with blue background that's protected by thick glass just popped out of the freaking woods like it has some complex mechanism behind it, and maybe because it more or less is. 'Honestly, just what more kind of surprises awaits for me when we were to get down of this hospital, someday?'

What irks me about is the words just besides the logo or its buttons that closely resembles Mandarin characters, so maybe this kind of invention is made by people from the same world as mine or just happened to inherit these characters? Well, don't matter now 'cause I as sure can't even write how “Gong Xi Fa Ciaoʼ² ”... I think I got something wrong in one of them.

As it boots up within the span of 10 seconds, I get to see what's currently available on the list:

[Meats: Cattles - Chicken - Fishes - Drakes - Slimes.

Servings: Burgers, Sausages, Rices, Noodles, Sandwiches.

Drinks: Teas, Milks, Coffees, Yogurts]

I tap on Meat: Drake, and as simple as it may seem at first, life gets ahead of you.

[Drakes:

Earthen Drake

Freezing Drake

Rupturing Drake

Seaside Drake

. . . ]

And the list goes on, on and on about for 3 bars which I can dictate as the subcategory.

'Oh Goodness, how long does it take for people to even order things around here?!'

Garvin: "And~, Done. So, what's your picking, Arl?". I'm kind of baffled of how much time-efficient his orderings are, meanwhile I barely got the grip of what's to get.

Cashier Employee: "Ara? So he's picking the foods himself, Sir Garvin?". This woman over here doesn't help with her 'Onee-sanʼ³ ' teasing a 'Shotaʼ⁴ ' like me here.

Garvin: "Ahaha, kid's smart as you can see from his calm demeanor. And it kind of helps with him being a... 'special one', heh". The both of them sure is having fun, like a teacher enjoying their time with their students outside work hours.

'... I feel like I'm forgetting what I wanted to do at first... Ah well, “curiosity killed the catʼ⁴ ”. Even as I thought of that, I'm thankful that the both of them recommended me stuffs that isn't hard to chew on for a kid's growing teeth.

There's also some minimarkets, hotels, and some other resorts that I don't think should be named on top of such a majestic airhospital... I'm losing my mind, I am so going to lose my mind...

ʼ¹. Metaphor for people who lets out their desires so obviously from other people's point of view without the former knowing or partially knowing it.

(#) Loggers Note 1: Apparently, some of my close associates said that I'm 'puppy-like' while wearing the mask of a Siberian Husky...

ʼ². 'Gang Xi Fa Cai' in Chinese Mandarin, closely translates to ("Wish you enlarge your wealth"), and is a common saying Chinese use over the Chinese New Year – even a toddler would say this to you when you visit a Chinese family during new year celebrations.

(#)Loggers Note 1: Then how come I still hadn't gotten pocket moneys from toddlers after all these time?

ʼ³. In respective order, the closest meaning adheres to 'Kind Older Big Sister' and 'Young Innocent Little Boy'.

(#) Loggers Note 2: ... I'm not sure how I should feel about this...

ʼ⁴. This proverb implies that being curious can sometimes lead to danger or misfortune.

(#) Loggers Note 2: 18 years old, and still standing strong, heh!
