"Kahahaha! You guys did great at taking care of those oversized seafood! And you! The young lady did an amazing job at keeping one of them at bay!"

The battle against the Krakens is quite an easy one, all things considered, the only thing we need to do is to delay the Krakens advance toward the beach until an actual squadron of Heroes come and took the fields

Right now, we're all celebrating the complete victory against the Krakens by grilling one of them on the beach while some of us dance and drink, with the other Kraken is being donated, the eatable one to those in need of food while the Blue ring one to the crack head scientists of our country

Taking a sip of my banana juice that I got from one of the stands from my trusty Vault 13 thermos flask (Gifts from the heroes, doesn't have the number yet) I relax in my chair as I look towards everyone

"Enjoying yourself, Okuu?"

I look towards the side to find that it's my mom's friend, Miss Lin, with her red hair and sunglasses hanging on her hair, currently, she's wearing a yellow crop jacket, white shirt, and mini pants

"Miss Lin~! What are you doing here?"

"Hehe, well I was just visiting a friend to hang out a bit and grill some BBQ, but then I saw a horde of heroes rushing towards the beach, so I followed them"

"Huh... I see, by the way, do you know Sora lives near here?"

"Yep! I do now, it was a surprise for me to find out that Sora move into one of those beach houses you know? He really should've told me"

"If I did, I wouldn't be able to rest in peace... Not that it matters now..."

Following the sound, Uncle Sora came into view with a plate of food in his hands, and a drink in the others, he move to one of the chairs and set the plate down on a small circle table, and right after, Lin steal one of his grilled kraken meat

"You..."

"Ah, c'mon! It's not like there's nothing left on the grill"

"Then why don't you go to the grill and ask for some!?"

"Eh, too lazy"

With that, those two began to fight again, I took a bite at my grilled Kraken, with the cut-up Kraken having no skin and only meat, it give out a different texture than usual while still tasting like a delicious and fresh squid

Looking up towards the two, Lin started to steal more from Uncle Sora, while Uncle Sora tried to steal some back while protecting the rest of his meal, looking at their attics, I feel like a big sweat drop effect is plastered on my face in exasperation at this point

... Those two are more like a sibling than the actual brother and sister

I look around the beach as I enjoy my food, there are many people that have gathered at this beach party, from civilians and heroes to the ice cream man on a bike that took the opportunity to sell ice cream, it's a big party

Taking a glance at Mizore, I can see that one of the heroes is trying to recruit her into becoming a hero again, while she looks like she doesn't want to be a hero again, it seems like she's interested in the deal the lifeguard is telling her

Oh yeah, that guy evacuated everyone on the beach, if I'm not wrong, his quirk is a voice kind of quirk like President mic

¹ *cough* I definitely didn't forget lifeguard exists, yes, definitely *cough*

Finished talking, Mizore then take a plate and get herself some food and drinks, she then start walking towards us, with Sora being the one to start a conversation

"So... What you talking about with those guys?"

Sora points his finger toward the previously mentioned people while saying that

"Well... They're asking if I want to join the heroes, which, I declined saying that I'm not suited for it... But well, let's say the offer to become a lifeguard interest me, not to mention our home is near here"

"Hmm, that doesn't sound bad"

"*Slurp* why aren't you suited to do a hero job?" I ask, confused

"Well... It's because of my quirk, Flash Freeze... I can somewhat control ice but the maximum I can truly control is one, and it's acceleration control so, no floating and such, and as the name suggests, I can't make ice, I can turn water into ice, but I can't manifest ice out of nowhere"

"Huh... Then isn't lifeguard the perfect job for you?"

"Well yes, and considering it's also right next to our home... I'm thinking of accepting it"

Having a small chat after that, the party lasted for a long time, and just one Kraken provide us with so much meat, we can't even finish it all

So, we went around the town in a parade like a drunken protestor (some of us are drunk), giving everyone around a piece of the grilled Kraken for the whole town to enjoy as some of the town folks started to follow our parade too

After the parade, we walked back towards Sora's house (Including Lin... For some reason) and chill out for a while longer on the beach, and before I knew it, the sun is already down, making us call for a taxi to drive us back home

*chirp-chirp* *Flapping*

"Hmggrr ahh... That hit the spot..."

Stretching my body, I plop down to the tatami mats, and just... Rolled around here and there

"What time is it..."

Looking around, I'm unable to know what time it is just by looking outside the door into the vast sky and forest... 

I look around in hazy dizziness until my eyes landed itself on the clock on the wall, seeing the time, my brain slowly but surely processes that I've slept through the whole day

"Afternoon... *Yawn* can't believe I slept for that long..."

Then again, I did over did it yesterday... 

What happened is, well, a bank robbery... I was just out with Grand to buy some groceries, but then out of nowhere, on the side, a group of five robbers pull out of their van and decide to rob the bank that was close to us at that time... 

Although it really isn't any of my business... I don't like how those guys injured multiple people with their quirk, including a child

So, I quickly ran closer and get into position, leaving Grand behind and making her sigh

After I deemed I'm close enough, I quickly and swiftly dispatch five groups of talismans that slip into the five robber's clothes without anyone noticing... Except maybe the camera

Honestly, it's not that I want to hide this... It's just that it looks like a pain to explain to others how I did this...

Well, even if I said that, the two of us -Me and Grand- already thought of a cover story for this ability, but well... I'm too lazy to explain it to people

Making sure the talisman is in the proper position, I pump my Yokai energy into it and lift the five-man into the sky... And slammed them into the floor, making them let out a loud yelp of pain

Yokai energy is... A general term that's used for anything that could be used and linked to Yokai's and Shrine Maiden's power, this includes Yin and Yang energy, Moonlight, Sunlight, soul, and so on...

For me, I used Yin and Yang specifically because it's good overall, without any weakness... The so-called all-rounded

Though it's a HARD one to learn and master... Using just the Yin or just the Yang is easier, but the results will either be too destructive for Yang or too defensive for Yin...

Seeing that the robber tried to flare up their Quirk via energy reading, I slammed those that tried towards the ceiling and back to the floor, making the other robber stop thinking of any ideas

Honestly, reading these Quirk's user energy is... Simple... Too simple, unlike how it's done with Yokai, these guys basically have the same wavelength of power source...

If I were to give an example, two fairies of fire might have the same power, but the two of them will have different colors, one is red, while the other one is purple, and I'll have to change my energy reading into red to see the red's energy, and purple to see the purple's energy... 

But for these people... Well, they all have the same kind of color, so their increase in power is extremely easy to notice

Which is why, when I land my eyes on Okuu, I'm surprised by her energy wavelength that matches nothing that I know of... 

Unlike these people, her wavelength is... Strange, it's very Yokai-like, I've basically tried every color combination I could think of, but I could never find hers... And Miss Yukari is the same as her for that matter... 

Shaking my head, I get back on recalling the situation... Right after the police check the CCTV, they ask us what that talisman-looking thing is, of course, the guy got upset at Grand's explanation because of the possible extra paperwork that will come with it. . . And I also got a scolding from Grand for not updating my Quirk data

Because although it isn't illegal, citizens are required to check in their Quirks development with the government because the last thing they want is a rampaging murder hobo that becomes like that because they didn't let out their rage once in a while

That said... Five sets are too much huh... 

Six talismans are the amount a set would have for me, two for the chest and the rest is the limb, I was surprised by how much Yokai Energy I'm losing when I pump it into those five sets of talismans

I mean, not THAT surprise... But yea, didn't expect for it to drain so much energy out of me, I'd expect it to cost a lot, not just instantly almost empty my reserves... Thankfully I still have some to knock up those two that think they're being clever... 

But still... This just shows that I need more time absorbing Yokai Energy and enlarging my own Energy reserve... I guess, it is time for me to do some work

"Yosh... Time to kick some fairy's butt"

*Bonk*

"Ow! What was that for Grand?"

Holding my head, I look towards my back to see Grand, standing there with a rolled-up newspaper

"That's what I want to ask you, what line of thinking did you have to end up wanting to clean up some fairy's mischief?"

"That... Well, I need to absorb more Yokai Energy right? And the best way to do that is through Danmaku, right?"

"You can just do exactly that by meditation and training right here!"

"But-"

"No, but! Gosh, sometimes I wonder where you get that attitude from, you want to be strong, but you hate training, let alone learning... Give this old woman a break will you? Even the teachers called me and complain about your lack of attention"

"But I still did their assignment, and I even managed to get a good grade"

"That might be true, but that's not a reason to sleep through the class all day long! Hash, truly, kids these days..."

Putting down the newspaper, Grand pulled out Five Talismans and give them to me

"Here, these are talismans of sealing, it's a simple one but they can seal the movement of anything it touches once powered, be warned though, it wouldn't do much against anything stronger than a fairy other than slow them down a bit"

Taking the talismans, I look at the drawing, I then put them in the pocket of my sleeve as I bow and thank Grand for the insurance

"... Thank you, Grand"

Walking out of the Shrine, I look towards the forest around me as I took a deep breath... 

"That's right... Only fairy, I can't fly for a long time right now, but within time..."

I look toward the Torii and down towards the long staircase that descends over this hill with the town far in the distance, covered by trees

"I'll become stronger... To ensure that Grand will have nothing to worry about"

With that, I float and then dash down the staircase to catch some fairy that's doing some mischievous act
