Chapter 7: The Ball

The two continued walking. They came across a small river. They filled their skins. They kept walking. The two came across another small lake.

"That's boring." The Minimizer said, "We must build a shelter."

"How will we do this?"

"Let's do something with our clothes and the floor."

"But what if it rains?"

"Let's just put more clothes on."

"I don't have any more clothes."

"Then let's do some more of our skin."

"How are you going to do that?"

"I'm just going to tear it up a little bit."

"This is a very serious thing to do."

"I know. It means you're scared. I don't get scared. I'm a Minimizer."

"A Minimizer is someone who doesn't get scared."

The two lay down on the floor and covered themselves with their clothes. They didn't sleep.
