I think the guildmaster is going to soon learn that this new heroine in the making is actually a rogue princess, and is going to want as little to do with the chaos she leaves in her wake as possible. If her identity is publicly known that will be mountains of paperwork to deal with. Even if it isn't revealed there will still be lots of added work to maintain the cover up.
It was far easier and profitable to climb the ladder of court intrigue–an option that was open to all who could bend physics like a troll could bend accounting numbers.
loved this chapter.
I love how competent so many of the side characters are even if we only see their true abilities when we escape Juliette's POV, but despite their capabilities still manage to fall into funny hijinks.
Good luck to Mirabelle, she's going to need it. Luck or a good bribe. Serving as Juliette's groupie for an adventure or two sounds like a fair trade for pledging herself to the Capitol branch.
I don't think she would ever agree to work for any particular branch since she is a princess, and is only doing all this work because her quiet time is being disrupted. Once the kingdom is stabilized she is going to go back to gardening, and avoiding assassination attempts during tea parties.
