Ah. So the most dangerous royals aren't those who seem competent and try their best for the country. They're the reclusive ones that want nothing to do with the world. They're like sleeping dragons and should never be disturbed.
Never wake a genius in her workshop!
@kayenano Or the gardener who somehow uses sword techniques for every little chore that needs to be done.
It feels like the whole family is just epic level from birth. Of course the DM then throws level appropriate challenges so they can't have things too easy. The sword saint was likely a level 20 fighter with a min-maxed munchkin build, yet even a natural 20 wouldn't be good enough to get a hit on Juliette (since it epic level play they are using house rules so natural 20s wouldn't be a automatic hit and instead just provide a massive boost to hit which would still fail if there was a big enough stat gap).
Been looking forward to the letter chapter for a while now. Time to see how the family reacts to these outrageous claims.
The only thing missing was seeing the receptionist realizing that the adventurer Juliette was the princess from the reaction of the people around when she delivered the letter.
Unless she handed it off to someone else to deliver, of course.
