As she looked at the cannon fodder, many of whom were currently carrying chests full of treasure onto the Thunder, a faint smile couldn't help but appear on the face of Emily.

"Uncle, I really didn't expect the marines to be as rich as this, there's at least 30 Million berries in this place, we're rich now..." mumbled Emily, noticing that other crew members, like that cabin boy, Kirk, were carrying large bags of ingredients on their backs, under the orders of their captain, who had become completely fed up with the quality of the food on the ship in just a few days.

Hearing that, Thresh, whose attention was mostly placed on the pile of bloodied corpses created in a corner, couldn't help but shake his head.

"From what I see, there's around 50 to 60 million berries in treasure here, Oro was also able to find 17 million berries, but don't think that this is really that much, as long as the captain orders it, I can easily spend that amount of money on the Thunder, especially as we're on Oakwood Island right now," said Thresh as he looked at his adopted daughter with a smile on his face.

Not to mention 50 to 60 million, back in his youth, when he was a pirate, Thresh and his crew actually found a treasure worth 155 million berries, and had planned to spend it on a new ship after returning from the Grand Line.

"The Grand Line..."

"What?" asked Emily, not hearing what Thresh had just whispered.

"It's nothing, I just remembered some memories of mine," said the old man, a somewhat bitter smile now present on his face.

At this moment, Emily suddenly noticed something, which took her attention away from Thresh's whispers.

"Uncle, have you seen captain?" asked Emily as she looked around, noticing that Diana was currently missing.

"Captain said she felt something weird here, and wanted to investigate the Marine Base further," said Thresh, causing a confused expression to appear on Emily's face.

"Something weird? I don't feel anything..." mumbled Emily as she scratched the side of her head.

"Are you as strong as Diana?" asked Thresh who both had the pleasure of watching Emily spar with Diana, and spar with her a little bit himself.

Sadly though, Thresh was now old, and could not bear sparring for an extended period of time, otherwise he would have stolen Diana from Emily and had her spar with him every day.

"No I'm not..."

...

"Something's really here..." mumbled Diana as she slowly but surely walked through the Marine Base, step by step, not worried that her new crew would run away now that she had gotten acquainted with them.

After an entire minute of slowly walking, Diana finally found her target causing her to suddenly freeze, the hair on the back of her neck rising straight up.

As she stared at the tall man, who was currently sitting in the middle of an empty field, with only a bowl of warm water in front of her, Diana couldn't help but feel sweat fall down her forehead for the first time since she had come to this world, causing her to suddenly turn around without any hesitation.

Although that man did not seem to be part of the marines, at least not yet, and was simply sitting there, without doing anything in the slightest, he gave Diana a terrible feeling.

It was not that Diana was afraid, it was simply that she did not wish to fight unnecessary battles that could be avoided.

...

Merely a few moments after Diana walked away from the scene, the man, who had his eyes closed up until now, suddenly opened them before touching his chin.

"Someone was here and managed to evade my senses, as expected, my Observation Haki is really quite terrible..." mumbled the 2.7 meter tall man he picked up the bowl and got up from the ground.

Although he knew that pirates had attacked the marine base he was in, Arakami was not yet part of the marines, and even though he wanted to join the marines in the future, Arakami was not yet technically part of them.

As such, Arakami felt like going after pirates was a waste of time, after all, he decided to begin training his Observation Haki after getting his fruit not too long ago.

At worst, after finishing his training and joining the Marines Arakami would get rid of these pirates.

"Three years, If I completely focus on my Observation Haki, three years should be enough to get it to a good state..." mumbled Arakami as he clenched his fist, causing it to become pitch black, little sparks of black lightning emerging from it.

...

Unaware of just how close she was to a battle that she really did not want to fight, Diana couldn't help but wipe the sweat off her forehead.

"How come this place is suddenly so dangerous..." mumbled Diana, noticing the fact that the horn on her forehead had actually disappeared.

Although this was interesting, Dana attributed this disappearance to the fact that she was being assimilated by this world, and since she hadn't become any weaker, she didn't particularly care about it.

After thinking about that for a few moments, Diana's thoughts returned to the danger that she was in not too long ago.

"It looks like I have to take my training a bit more serious, otherwise things might get dangerous..." mumbled Diana as she clenched her fist.

Right now, Diana's training schedule was divided into 2 parts.

Exercising until she was fully tired.

Beating Emily until she finally regained her energy back.

Although this schedule was actually quite good, and Diana could feel herself becoming a bit stronger every day, she knew that it was far from efficient, and right now, after that experience just now, Diana no longer felt comfortable giving up that efficiency.

A few moments later, Diana finally decided what to do and began walking back to her crew
