As he looked at the man who had just appeared next to their workplace, Terk, who had already been feeling a bit tense these few days, couldn't help but grit the hammer in his hand, and contemplate whether he should attack him.

'It's not worth it...' thought Terk as he took a look at his crew and turned his attention onto the person, who was most likely a pirate.

But since he had come here so easily without being discovered by the guards, Terk knew that this pirate should've at been someone familiar with the old man.

"Who are you?" asked Terk as he waved down the shipwrights who were ready for a fight, causing them to slightly lower their hammers and saws.

Even so, the shipwrights were clearly on guard against the one-handed man, and Terk didn't blame them in the slightest.

"You can call me Thresh, you could say that I'm an old acquaintance of Old Man Creig, where is he right now?" asked Thresh as he watched the young shipwright jump own from the ship frame that he was building just a few moments.

Interestingly though, although he had heard it once already, upon hearing Thresh's question, the shipwright still froze for a few moments, before finally speaking after a moment of hesitation.

Although this reaction was all that Thresh actually needed to see to realize everything, he still just stood there, waiting for the man to speak.

"The old man died half a day ago, in a battle between pirates..." said Terk as he gritted his teeth, causing Thresh to slightly shake his head.

"I didn't expect that old man to bite the dust so early, it looks like he really declined in strength with his age, it's quite a pity..." mumbled Thresh before taking one final look at the young shipwright.

"You take care, I'll be on my way now," said Thresh as he let out a sigh and began walking towards the gate under the stupefied eyes of the shipwrights.

'It looks like he was really just an acquaintance of the old man...' thought Terk as he prepared to go back to work onto the ship that the shipyard was currently building, after all, they couldn't bear many more financial losses after the loss of the old man.

But even so, a fraction of a moment later, both Thresh, and Terk, suddenly froze in place, their eyes having become glued to the main gate.

A few moments after that, the main gate, which was only a few meters in front of Thresh by this point, was suddenly smashed open, a large part of it being sent flying into the distance.

As Thresh, who had just dodged the gate, stared at the cloud of dust in front of him, through which quite a number of figures could be seen, a large frown appeared on his face.

But even so, Thresh, who was merely acquainted with Old Man Frieg, then began walking away, not planning to involve himself in someone else's business.

A fraction of a moment later, Thresh's sword suddenly appeared in his hand, and without any warning in the slightest, suddenly slashed the bullet that had come his way in half.

The bullet had of course cleared the dust cloud, revealing a group of pirates standing over the destroyed gate.

"Where do you think you're going old man, do you really think that you can escape from the Jackno Pirates so easily?"

...

After falling into deep thought for around 5 seconds, Thresh, who was familiar with most of the notorious pirate of North Blue, finally realized who these guys were.

The Jackno Pirates were a Pirate Crew with a total Bounty of 3.5 Million Berries, all of which was placed on their captain, Captain Jackno.

As soon as he realized the identity of the pirates in front of him, Thresh, who was originally worried that he was outnumbered couldn't help but become slightly speechless.

'Did pirate become that much more cocky in recent years, daring to invade a shipyard with their bounty?' thought Thresh as he watched the shipwright who had just spoken with him suddenly jump down towards the ground.

Although quite slow from Thresh's point of view, in truth, the shipwright was frighteningly fast, and arrived in front of the pirate captain, before suddenly trying to bash his face in with a hammer.

Interestingly though, the Jockno actually managed to dodge the fast strike, only being lightly grazed, causing him to suddenly punch towards the stomach of the shipwright.

Even though he noticed this attack, Terk did not pause in the slightest, and smashed his fist amongst the left side of the pirate, ending the powerful attack that had just landed onto his stomach.

A moment after that, the head of the pirate captain suddenly popped like a watermelon after being hit by the lightning fast hammer strike, causing the surrounding pirates to finally react, and point their guns at him.

"Don't you dare come any closer, or we'll shoot."

"Now that the Captain's dead, we don't need to fight anymore, but if you insist, we'll really fill you with lead."

"Don't move, or I'll blow this old man's head off, he's a friend of yours isn't he?"

The threats of pirates, who did not actually seem to want to fight him surprised Terk a bit, especially the last one, causing him to turn his attention to the one-armed old man, who really had a gun pointed straight at his head.

Before Terk, or the pirates he was supposed to fight could say anything, both of the hands of the pirate suddenly fell to the ground, having been cut off by the one-armed swordsman.

"Ahhhhh"

"I don't really like being threatened, but I'll be on my way from here," said Thresh without paying any attention to the screams of the man or the fight taking place here.

A few moments after that, Thresh jumped over a wall, leaving the shipyard, as well as the fight behind.

Soon after that, the shipwrights, who had used the time when the pirates were distracted to get closer, defeated the rest of the pirates.
