Welcome, welcome, welcome! Let me introduce you to my new place.

As soon as you climb up the mini mountain you are greeted by the fiery red brick workshop, in the shape similar to an igloo.

The workshop has a central exhaust coming from the depths of the volcano giving me a little assistance in my forging, and all of my tools and materials are arranged neatly by the walls.

There is a beautiful cobble stone path towards the workshop as the crater has a mini garden full of materials that could be used in the making of any products you need to ask me, the smith!

To the back of the workshop is a small open corridor towards my house. This is just between you and me but no one is supposed to be here except me. This is the exception since it was just built and needs to be shown!!

The house is a beautiful two story small home that fits the word 'cozy' perfectly. Other than the usual furnishing, nothing is cluttered in the house since most of the things are stored in my storage ability.

The first floor has the washrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room while the whole second floor is the bedroom. Right next to the house is a tall water tower helping to shade the house during those blazing midday sun!

I also have a small garden at the back full of edible crops and herbs. I can't wait for the harvest season!

*Sigh*

Well, that's enough of me double checking the house. It was fun to do the old 'this is my house' kind of thing they did in those old tv shows but it felt lackluster somewhere in the middle. It might be because I don't have any kind of technology here. I also don't have a swimming pool but I'm not really a fan of it since it's a pain to maintain those things.

The material shrubbery might be a stretch since those trees haven't even sprouted yet. I just planted them, so the only thing greeting someone when they climb up my mini volcano are rows and rows of empty garden beds. The cobble stone path is just some random rocks I found while I was installing the framework for the volcano that I just cleaned up and shined. It doesn't look that bad but it's not that good either.

Anyway, I already finished building my house and the introduction gifts are almost done. It's about time for me to come down and remove the walls I made. I thought it would take me longer but since I found out that the villagers aren't particularly sensitive to the sound during the night, I didn't bother sleeping and just worked straight through.

I guess living in the volcano zone where eruptions usually happen would do that to you. They aren't particularly bothered by the sound but how do they know if their village is in danger because of that noise? Is there a group standing guard for those situations or did they develop some kind of supernatural sense that instantly alerts them that an exploding volcano will affect the village?

Anyhow, I'm sure I will find that out by spending some time here in the village. For now, I need to sleep a bit since it has been some time since I relaxed. I'll go down my volcano tomorrow. Yes, 'my volcano'! I finally have a place to call my own here in the dwarf continent, and it's a volcano of all places. This new life of mine has been interesting so far but the only problem is that the continent is currently turbulent.

*Crash* *Crash*

Well that is that, my neighbors will probably notice that my wall is down. Heh, I am sure they already noticed when I am almost done with my construction. Even if I walled off the perimeter of my volcano, they could still see the ongoing construction above the wall, and since my new home is a volcano all of the construction occurs above the base. It's also not that big of a volcano, more like a somewhat big hill, so they have a good view of my workshop and home being built.

Now that I removed the wall, the village chief would surely come here early in the morning to check up on me.

I haven't been here that long but the feeling the village chief gives me is that he is concerned for every single villager that lives here. It's a good trait to have, especially in a small village like this since it's easy to do so.

Anyway, This should be my first time resting in my home after constructing it. I always avoided it during the construction since I can't relax on top of a bed while the surrounding is still messy. It also doesn't help when I can't take my time and have a bath since I put off filling the water tower as the last thing to do.

It will use up a lot of my mana to make all that water. It would be very inconvenient to not have some mana while constructing the house and the workshop. It might even force me to waste hours just lounging around waiting for my mana to regenerate back and that would just waste my time.

Anyway, my introduction gift is done. I hope my neighbors like them. I make them in between my construction breaks whenever I run out of mana, so these things are made manually. I can guarantee that these are not the best work I can make but are still decent enough for the level of items here in the village, and probably the nearest town here.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

"Good morning! Are you awake yet?"

Is it morning already? I'm awake and well rested thanks to my skill but this village chief is up there with age. How is he this energetic early in the morning?

"Good morning! You came early."
"Hahaha, this old man doesn't have much to do when my villagers are such hard workers. I just wasted time by checking up on everyone. Speaking of hard workers, I didn't think you would finish building your home this fast. I saw the construction down there at the village and I have to say, as expected of an academy graduate. You know a lot of fancy magic."

They aren't actually that fancy but I guess anything is fancy for people here.

"I'm done with everything now, so if you have time maybe you want to help me visit the neighbors once again? I want to properly introduce myself and advertise my workshop at the same time."
"Oh, yeah! That sounds good. The villagers were actually excited that a blacksmith was moving into the village."
"Really? That seems promising."
"Yeah! Since our last blacksmith unfortunately passed away things have been harder on us when we need things repaired and made. Don't expect too much in business though. Even if you are the only blacksmith in town, people here aren't that much on spending. You might have to travel to town if you want to make some profit though."

Don't worry, I have my own plans regarding that. I didn't set up shop here to rake in profits but for experience. Yes!! The one thing you can invest in and always get a profit!

"I will do just that. Don't worry though, I won't charge a lot for my services here in the village. The village and villagers get a special price since I won't have to travel much to do any work here."
"They will be very happy with that. Why don't we start visiting them now? As luck would have it, both the carpenter's family and farmer's family are here right now."
"I will have to get a few things first, so you can go ahead and wait at the base of the volcano."
"Hahaha, I see that you have some gifts for them. Well take your time. I'll go ahead and inform everyone before they leave for work, if they have some."

For an old man this village chief has sharp eyes. However, I can't accept the lighting being off, I didn't exactly hide it. There is a noticeable crate near the entrance of my home.

I didn't actually intend for anyone to come here in my main house but that old man actually went straight here instead of the workshop door. I even made it inviting by installing the super wide doors along with a waiting bench outside!

Anyway, I have everything ready, and based on my observation of the village from the time I started construction, I am certain that my meager gifts would be more than enough to wow them.
