While I can understand moving chapters to Kindle why remove them weeks before their release on Kindle? As it currently stands new readers aren't able to really get into your story as there are a lot of chapter missing
Excellent question.
I'm not merely moving the book to Kindle, I'm also signing it up for Kindle Unlimited.
Kindle Unlimited requires authors to have the story available only through the Kindle store.
Now, it's technically not out yet, so I wouldn't be violating this clause if I still had it up at the moment.
But.
There is a precedent for stories getting smacked down, or even removed from KU because authors violated the exclusivity rule, even when they didn't.
Publishers require people to stub (remove) their stories off sites 2 weeks in advance.
As an indie author, I am not obligated to do this. But also, as an indie author, I don't have a publisher to defend me if the ebook gets smacked down.
So, I would rather not risk it.
Well I guess I might as well make a review then.
No hardcopy?
I'm gonna set one up! I have to first figure out how to do it though... Hahahaha
